The effects of different heating measures on breeding virus-free potato plantlets with hydroponic technology were studied in this paper. The virus-free tube plantlets of potato (Favorita) were used as test material. A total of 3 treatments were designed, including traditional hydroponics (CK), installing heaters (T1) and in- stalling heaters and thermal insulation device (T2). The results showed in the Chengdu Plain in low-temperature winter, the installing of heaters and covering of thermal insulation device could maintain the hydroponic water temperature at 15-22 ~C. The potato seedlings grown in heaters and thermal insulation device-installed seedbed rooted 6.4 d earlier and emerged 13 d earlier compared to that in tradi- tional seedbed. The growth of potato seedlings grown in heaters and thermal insu- lation device-installed seedbed was more robust. Their root length, stem diameter, plant height, leaf number and fresh weight were all higher than that of traditional potato seedlings. The tuber number per plant in T1 group reached 1.7 and in T2 group reached 3.57 42 d after the cutting of hydroponic seedlings, while then the plantlets in CK group just turned into the aeroponics stage. Therefore, heating hy- droponics is conducive to advancing the cutting of virus-free seedlings and breeding robust water-cultured seedlings. Moreover, the fruiting of aeroponics seedlings is al- so advanced. The heating hydroponics plays an important role in actual production. 展开更多

Schott] were observed, laying foundation for highly-yielding cultivation technology system of Xiangsha taro. The results indicate that germination of the second taro happened from 46 d after sprouting (7-8 leaves); the first taro began to expand, from 125 d after sprouting (12 leaves) when the the second taro was been formed; the third taro began to form from 141 to 150 d after sprouting (15-16 leaves). The fresh weight of the second and third taros quickly increased from the time of 15 leaves to harvest. Early September is a transformation term of Xiangsha taro from vegetative body dominant to corm growth dominant. 展开更多

In recent years, organic rice wins the fa- vor of consumers due to its pure natural and pollution-free advantages. Based on the planting area selection, organic rice variety screening, fertilization, control of dis- eases and insect pests and harvesting, this article specifically discussed the cultiva- tion techniques of organic rice and developed the cultivation technology regulation of organic rice in Yellow Rive irrigated area of Ningxia, in order to lay the foundation for speeding up the development of organic rice industry and establishing highly standardized and normalized organic rice production base, thereby promoting the standardization of organic rice production. 展开更多

[Metbed] The leaf bud of P. vittata collected in field conditions as explantsand the 1/2 MS + 3% sucrose + 0.7% agar as the basic medium were used to screen the medium formula of the phytohormone ratio for callus induction and subculture of P. vittata. [Result] The best medium formula for each step was list below: 1/2 MS + 3% sucrose + 0.7% agar + 0.5 g/L PVP + 0.1 mg/L KT + 0.5 mg/L 2, 4-D for in- ducing the callus from explants; 1/2MS + 3% sucrose + 0.7% agar + 0.5 g/L PVP + 1.0 mg/L KT + 0.01 mg/L 2,4-D for inducing the GGB from callus and the seedlings from GGB. In addition, 1/2 MS + 3% sucrose + 0.7% agar + 0.5 g/L PVP + 0.5 mg/L 2,4-D for the subculture could make the continued proliferation of callus. Akebia is a wild fruit originating in the Yangtse river valley and the surrounding areas. It includes mainly three species (subspecies): Akebia trifoliata, Akebia trifoliata subsp, australis, and Akebia quinata. It has many good traits, such as large fruit size, early fruit-setting and high yield, excellent eating quality, and good environmental adaptability. However, there are some shortcomings with the fruit, including thick skin, excessive number of seeds, and relatively small proportion of edible flesh. Akebia is also a traditional Chinese medicine, which has the functions of relieving internal heat and diuresis, dredging venation and improving blood circulation, cleansing facial chloasma, detoxication and anti-cancer activities. Akebia can be used as fresh fruit, for processing, and for pharmaceutical purposes. We have been undertaking a series of research on the domestication and utilization of Akebia, including cultivar selection, techniques for cultivation, storage and processing, and related basic studies. A Chinese trade name “Hehuanguo” and an English trade name “Joyfruit” have been registered for Akebia to facilitate its commercial development. 展开更多

The orthogonal experiments, in-cluding the selection of basal medium, embryo age and other factors such as sugar, benzyladenine (BA), naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and glutamine (Gln), were carried out. The results indicated that the optimal medium for embryo culture was Monnier medium supplemented with NAA (0.001 mgL-1), BA (0.1 mgL-1), sugar (50 gL-1), and Gln (400 mgL-1), with a germination rate of 91.7% at least; the optimal embryo age was 50 d; and Gln had significant effects on the germination rate of embryo. Moreover, the optimal medium for subculture was MS+BA (2 mgL-1)+NAA (0.001 mgL-1)+Gln (0.5 mgL-1), with the propaga-tion coefficient of 3.6 at least. 展开更多

[Method] The research explored three methods of farmland prepara- tion, transplanting, and fertilization including shallow rotary tillage and deep ploughing, mechanical transplanting and hand transplanting, controlled-release fertilizer and quantitative fertilization in order to investigate effects of different treatment groups on rice characteristics, economic characteristics, as well as labor saving, yield increasing and profit improving. [Result] Rice increased by 596.4-809.55 kg/hm2, labor saving reached 120-135 per hm2, and profit improved in the range from 5 521.39 to 8 727.48 yuan/hm2 in the treatment groups by combinations of shallow rotary tillage, mechanical transplanting, and controlled-release fertilizer, of shallow rotary tillage, mechanical transplanting, and quantitative fertilization, and of deep ploughing, mechanical transplanting, and controlled release fertilizer.
