There is growing interest in developing high-voltage MOSFET devices that can be integrated with low-voltage CMOS digital and analog circuits. In this paper,high-voltage nand p-type MOSFETs are fabricated in a commercial 3.3/ 5V 0.5μm n-well CMOS process without adding any process steps using n-well and p-channel stops. High current and highvoltage transistors with breakdown voltages between 23 and 35V for the nMOS transistors with different laydut parameters and 19V for the pMOS transistors are achieved. This paper also presents the insulation technology and characterization results for these high-voltage devices. 展开更多

By means of molecular scale management, the technology of separating normal paraffins from naphtha through adsorption using 5A molecular sieves was studied with the purpose of optimizing the utilization of naphtha. The raw materials used in steam cracking and catalytic reforming processes could be allocated properly. During the adsorption process, the separation efficiency of the normal paraffins was above 99.9% with the purity of normal paraffins in the desorption oil exceeding 98.2%. With the use of the desorption oil as the feedstock of steam cracking, the ethylene yield increased from 29.7%-35.0% to 41.4%- 49.2% compared to that of the naphtha in the existing plant under similar operation conditions. The potential aromatic content of the raffinate oil rose from 30.6% to 43.5% compared to that in naphtha. The research octane number of the raffinate oil reached more than 85 with an increase of 20 units compared to that of naphtha, so the raffinate oil is more suitable for use as a blending component for high-octane clean gasoline. 展开更多

Smoke flavorings have evolved as a successful alternative to traditional smoking. The hazards of the fish products treated by liquid-smoking process are discussed in this review. The smoke flavoring is one important ingredient in the smoke-flavored fish. This paper gives the definition of smoke flavorings and the hazard of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) residue in the smoke flavorings on the market. It gives also an assessment of chemical hazards such as carcinogenic PAHs, especially Benzo-[α]pyrene, as well as biological hazards such as Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium botulinum, histamine and parasites in smoke-flavored fish. The limitations in regulations or standards are discussed. Smoke flavored fish have lower content of PAHs as compared with the traditional smoking techniques if the PAHs residue in smoke flavorings is controlled by regulations or standards. 展开更多

Climate change has been considered as the most paramount global environmental problem and the biggest externality throughout the history of human development. Accordingly, the world is facing unprecedented technological innovation and collaborative demands to deal with climate change. In the 2015 Paris Agreement, a long-term vision of technology development and transfer implementation was proposed, and policy and financial support for technological innovation in the area of climate change was advocated. These terms aim to enable developing countries to acquire the necessary technology in the early stage of the technology cycle to address climate change challenge. However, the traditional technological innovation and cooperation mode based on industrial civilization can hardly meet the technical demands of global climate protection. To ensure the continuous development and deployment of technology in a required scale and pace, a new global technical cooperation system is proposed to develop based on the philosophy of ecological civilization. The core contents of this system are supposed be as follows:to implement all-win cooperation targets, adhering to cooperation principles of Eco-man, adopt cooperation content that reflects synergy, pursue cooperation based on mutual trust, encourage participation of multiple actors, and promote sharing of cooperative outputs. 展开更多

The telecommunications industry has been undergoing tremendous technological changes, and owning to continuous technological advancement, it has maintained sustained prosperity and development. In this paper, the interplay between technology, market and government in telecommunications is discussed briefly, and then we introduce technology and government into the traditional SCP(Structure – Conduct – Performance) paradigm to develop an industry analysis framework called TGM(SCP)(Technology – Government – Market(Structure – Conduct – Performance)). Based on this framework, we present the spiral coevolution model which elaborates on the interaction mechanism of technological innovation with government regulation and market dynamics from the perspective of industry evolution. Our study indicates that the development of the telecommunications industry is the result of the coevolution of technology, government regulation and market forces, and among the three actors, technology is the fundamental driving force. Relative to the "invisible hand"(market) and "visible hand"(government), we conceptualize technology as the "third hand", which fundamentally drives the development of telecommunications industry in coordination with the other two hands. We also provide several policy implications regarding these findings. 展开更多

The 3rd generation catalytic cracking naphtha selective hydrodesulfurization(RSDS-III) technology developed by RIPP included the catalysts selective adjusting(RSAT) technology, the development of new catalysts and optimized process conditions. The pilot plant test results showed that the RSDS-III technology could be adapted to different feedstocks. The sulfur content dropped from 600 μg/g and 631 μg/g to 7 μg/g and 9 μg/g, respectively, by RSDS-III technology when feed A and feed B were processed to meet China national V gasoline standard, with the RON loss of products equating to 0.9 units and 1.0 unit, respectively. While the feed C with a medium sulfur content was processed according to the full-range naphtha hydrotreating technology, the sulfur content dropped from 357 μg/g in the feed to 10 μg/g in gasoline, with the RON loss of product decreased by only 0.6 units. Thanks to the high HDS activity and good selectivity of RSDS-III technology, the ultra-low-sulfur gasoline meeting China V standard could be produced by the RSDS-III technology with little RON loss. 展开更多

The 40kt/a sulfur recovery unit for tail gas treating applying the reduction-absorption-recycling (RAR) technology is aimed at regeneration of the rich amine solution and recovery of sulfur to operate in tandem with the 1.2Mt/a diesel hydrofining unit. The process unit calibration data have revealed that the recovery of total sulfur reaches 99.86%, which is 6.65 percentage points higher than that before application of the RAR technology. The SO2 content in vented tail gas is 0.27 t/d, which is much less than the latest emission standard prescribed by the State. The factors that can affect the unit operation have been analyzed and corresponding measures have been suggested including the necessity to improve the control over the reaction temperature in the tail gas hydrogenation unit. 展开更多

Some examples of heritage abuse are given alongside some innovative ways of presenting relics of the past to society. Methodology consists in the scrutinizing of chosen examples, selecting conclusions and a synthetic presentation of research results. The aim is proper protection of historic architectural resources through documentation and dissemination of knowledge. First part is concerned to rejection of old aesthetics values and implementing a new one on example of Brussels' House of the People (the largest work by Victor Horta that opened on 1899 and demolished in 1965 despite a protest of architects) and ridiculous renovation in Krynica, Poland. In second part, it presents tree examples of successful implementation of innovative techniques and technologies as the Pauline fathers realizations of renovation sacred architecture (churches, cloisters), also valuable digital projects of the reconstruction of the vaults and realization of underground Museum in Krakow, Poland (the outstanding creation of the atmosphere of virtual historic reality by the latest audio-visual techniques). 展开更多
