A scheme for building detection and reconstruction from LIDAR data is presented with an object-oriented method which is based on the buildings’ semantic rules. Two key steps are discussed: how to group the discrete LIDAR points into single objects and how to establish the buildings’ semantic rules. Road extraction plays an important role in many applications such as car navigation, but the manual extraction of roads is a laborious, tedious task. To speed the extraction of roads, an approach based on particle fil...Road extraction plays an important role in many applications such as car navigation, but the manual extraction of roads is a laborious, tedious task. To speed the extraction of roads, an approach based on particle filtering to extract automatically roads from high resolution imagery is proposed. Particle filtering provides a statistical framework for propagating sample-based approximations of posterior distributions and has almost no restriction on the ingredients of the model. We integrate the similarity of grey value and the edge point distribution of roads into particle filtering to deal with complex scenes. To handle road appearance changes the tracking algorithm is allowed to update the road model during temporally stable image observations. A fully automatic initialization strategy is used. Experimental results show that the proposed approach is a promising and fully automatic method for extracting roads from images, even in the presence of occlusions.展开更多

By making use of the diagrammatic techniques in perturbation theory, we have calculated the dc conductivity and magnetoresistance due to weak-localization effects, the analytical expressions of them are obtained as functions of the interlayer hopping energy and the characteristic times: elastic, inelastic, magnetic and spin-orbit scattering times. The relevant dimensional crossover behavior from 3D to 2D with decreasing the interlayer coupling is discussed, and the condition for the crossover is shown to be dependent on the aforementioned scattering times. At low temperature there exists a spin-dependent-scattering-induced dimensional crossover in this system.展开更多

A small graph was encoded in molecules of DNA, and the 'operations' of the computation were performed with standard protocols and enzymes. This article describes the application of technology for quenching catalytic pyrolysis gas at the Daqing commercial CPP test unit and the Shenyang commercial CPP production unit.On the basis of results for application...This article describes the application of technology for quenching catalytic pyrolysis gas at the Daqing commercial CPP test unit and the Shenyang commercial CPP production unit.On the basis of results for application of the Shenyang CPP unit this paper puts forward an improved process flow scheme for quenching the pyrolysis gas and made calculations using the process flowsheet software.Case Ⅰ of the process flow scheme,which is designed for full circulation of slurry,intends to use the pyrolysis light oil and fresh feed oil as the quenching media with the product slurry oil and fresh feedstock being discharged from the quench cooler bottom and routed directly to the reactor so that the fresh feed oil can be preheated prior to pyrolysis.Case Ⅱ of the process flow scheme intends to adopt recycle oil as the quenching medium with the product slurry and recycle oil being discharged from the quench cooler bottom to the fractionator,which then delivers the slurry from the bottom.These two cases for improving the process flow diagram can all effectively control the density and viscosity of the quenching medium to secure the smooth operation of quench cooler.展开更多
