The management and control of material flow forms the core of manufacturing execution systems (MES) in the petrochemical industry. The bottleneck in the application of MES is the ability to match the material-flow model with the production processes. A dynamic material-flow model is proposed in this paper after an analysis of the material-flow characteristics of the production process in a petrochemical industry. The main material-flow events are described, including the movement, storage, shifting, recycling, and elimination of the materials. The spatial and temporal characters of the material-flow events are described, and the material-flow model is constructed. The dynamic material-flow model introduced herein is the basis for other subsystems in the MES. In addition, it is the subsystem with the least scale in MES. The dynamic-modeling method of material flow has been applied in the development of the SinoMES model. It helps the petrochemical plant to manage the entire flow information related to tanks and equipments from the aspects of measurement, storage, movement, and the remaining balance of the material. As a result, it matches the production process by error elimination and data reconciliation. In addition, it facilitates the integration of application modules into the MES and guarantees the potential development of SinoMES in future applications. 展开更多

Transcriptome analysis of the Chinese grass shrimp Palaemonetes sinensis(Sollaud 1911) and its predicted feeding habit

Chinese grass shrimp P alaemonetes sinensis is an economically important freshwater shrimp in China. However, wild resources of grass shrimp have declined dramatically due to overfishing and environmental destruction. Previous studies of P. sinensis are basic and sparse due to the lack of genomic data. In this study, the first transcriptome dataset of P. sinensis was obtained by performing de novo RNA sequencing. A total of 100 644 unigenes and 17 019 simple sequence repeats were identified. Potential genes and their functions were annotated by analysis of public databases. Genes encoding digestive enzymes in P. sinensis, including those specific for proteinase, carbohydrase, lipidase, as well as other related important genes, are described. The first transcriptomic investigation of P. sinensis may provide comprehensive sequence resources for grass shrimp study. Additionally, the data generated here will contribute to the identification of biomarkers for grass shrimp, and may help in understanding the links between digestive enzymes and food habit. 展开更多

Personal experience with the procurement of 32 liver allografts

AIM: To introduce the American Pittsburgh's method of rapid liver procurement under the condition of brain death and factors influencing the quality of donor liver.METHODS: To analyze 32 cases of allograft liver procurement retrospectively and observe the clinical outcome of orthotopic liver transplantation.RESULTS: Average age of donors was 38.24±12.78 years,with a male:female ratio of 23:9. The causes of brain death included 21 cases of trauma (65.63%) and nine cases of cerebrovascular accident (28.13%). Fourteen grafts (43.75%) had hepatic arterial anomalies, seven cases only right hepatic arterial anomalies (21.88%), five cases only left hepatic arterial anomalies (15.63%) and two cases of both right and left hepatic arterial anomalies (6.25%) among them. Eight cases (57.14%) of hepatic arterial anomalies required arterial reconstruction prior to transplantation. Of the 32 grafts evaluated for early function, 27 (84.38%) functioned well, whereas three (9.38%) functioned poorly and two (6.25%) failed to function at all. Only one recipient died after transplantation and thirty-one recipients recovered. Four recipients needed retransplantation. The variables associated with less than optimal function of the graft consisted of donor age (35.6±12.9 years vs 54.1±4.3 years, P<0.05), duration of donor's stay in the intensive care unit (ICU) (3.5±2.4 d vs 7.4±2.1 d, P<0.005), abnormal graft appearance (19.0% vs 100%, P<0.05), and such recipient problems as vascular thromboses during or immediately following transplantation (89.3% vs 50.0%, P<0.005).CONCLUSION: During liver procurement, complete heparization, perfusion in situ with localized low temperature and standard technique procedures are the basis ensuring the quality of the graft. The hepatic arterial anomalies should be taken care of to avoid injury. The donor age,duration of donor's staying in ICU, abnormal graft appearance and recipient problem are important factors influencing the quality of the liver graft. 展开更多

The 3rd generation catalytic cracking naphtha selective hydrodesulfurization(RSDS-III) technology developed by RIPP included the catalysts selective adjusting(RSAT) technology, the development of new catalysts and optimized process conditions. The pilot plant test results showed that the RSDS-III technology could be adapted to different feedstocks. The sulfur content dropped from 600 μg/g and 631 μg/g to 7 μg/g and 9 μg/g, respectively, by RSDS-III technology when feed A and feed B were processed to meet China national V gasoline standard, with the RON loss of products equating to 0.9 units and 1.0 unit, respectively. While the feed C with a medium sulfur content was processed according to the full-range naphtha hydrotreating technology, the sulfur content dropped from 357 μg/g in the feed to 10 μg/g in gasoline, with the RON loss of product decreased by only 0.6 units. Thanks to the high HDS activity and good selectivity of RSDS-III technology, the ultra-low-sulfur gasoline meeting China V standard could be produced by the RSDS-III technology with little RON loss. 展开更多

The ceramic coating technology of microarc oxidation (MAO) was utilized to modify surface properties of the movable endplate of a high pressure gear pump used in water-hydraulic system, which is made of aluminium alloy. A coMPact ceramic layer of more than 130 μm was developed on the movable endplate with the hardness up to HV1000 by means of microarc oxidation. A trial of tests conducted in a water power transmission system show that the maximum outlet pressure of the gear pump with the movable endplate treated by microarc oxidation, can reach 16 MPa. It is pointed out that the ceramic coating developed by microarc oxidation technology on the surface of aluminium alloy, is economical and feasible. 展开更多

I analyzed my own growth from three perspectives: technical confidence and competence, pedagogical development and self-efficacy. Classroom observation, interviews, reflective journals and questionnaires were used to explore how professional self-development occurred when I changed my teaching belief in teaching, and how I understood the development as a practicing teacher in learning by teaching. I participated in various projects based on action research in order to meet the challenges of the teaching reform in the new era. The results indicate that teachers can develop their informational quality and professional competence in applying ICT in teaching. 展开更多
