The principle, structure, and drive signals of tail fin electromagnetic drive are researched, the enforced situation of fish under eIectromagnetic driving modes are analyzed, and the experimental plat-form of tail fin electromagnetic drive is established. The best distance between electro- magnet and armature, which can realize the swing of tail fin, was researched in the experiment under water. The robotic fish structure parameters of tail fin electromagnetic drive was finalized by theoretical analysis and experimental measurement.展开更多

First,on the basis of the proposed driving control system program of tactile and slip,a detection system of tactile and slip senses are designed. Based on the tactile and slip feature representation and extraction,an improved classification and recognition method is proposed which combines K-nearest neighbor (KNN) algorithm and K-means algorithm. And then,a robot control system based on TMS320F2812 is designed in this paper,including its hardware and software design. Then,a moving control method including the fuzzy adaptive control algorithm is presented for the walking-assistant robot to realize some different moving properties. At last,by the experimental verification in the walking-assistant robot,the research results show that the tactile and slip senses detection and recognition method is effective,and the whole control system has good feasibility and adaptability.展开更多

In electric and hybrid vehicle are applied: FLMC (Fuzzy Logic Mode Control), SLMC (Sliding Mode Control), NRMC (Neural Regulator Control), and Direct Power and Torque Control for Space Vector Modulated inverter (DPTC SVM). In the special solution of the electric and hybrid vehicle are also applied a Random Switching Frequency Modulation. The control of hybrid vehicle should assure the realization of established transport-assignments in the definite time, at the optimum of energy consumption. One can this realize using. The multi criteria control system. Some results of the computer simulations are presented in the paper. In the first part, Vehicle Intelligence to assist drivers is defined by two objective functions which are both TGA (Target Generation Agent) and TAA (Target Accomplishment Agent). TAA is mainly based on the conventional technologies that are braking smoothly, or driving with lower fuel consumption. On the other hand, TGA has the intelligent function instead of human drivers. The actual TGA are explained using some concrete driver support systems. After that, Japanese market introduction date and evolution of driver support systems are discussed with clarifying cognitive aspects which are the perception support, the judgment support and the execution support. And Key technologies underlying evolution of driver support systems are explained. Finally the author concludes that the knowledge and insights needed for intelligent driver support systems will be much more complex than in the case of autonomous vehicles that drive themselves.展开更多
The methods were studied to improve the cooling performance of the absorption refrigeration system(ARS) driven by low-grade solar energy with ultrasonic wave, while the mechanism of ultrasonic wave strengthening boili...The methods were studied to improve the cooling performance of the absorption refrigeration system(ARS) driven by low-grade solar energy with ultrasonic wave, while the mechanism of ultrasonic wave strengthening boiling mass transfer in LiB r solution was also analyzed with experiment. The experimental results indicate that, under the driving heat source of 60–100 oC and the ultrasonic power of 20–60 W, the mass flux of cryogen water in Li Br solution is higher after the application of ultrasonic wave than auxiliary heating with electric rod of the same power, so the ultrasonic application effectively enhances the heat utilization efficiency. The distance H from ultrasonic transducer to vapor/liquid interface significantly affects mass transfer enhancement, so an optimal Hopt corresponding to certain ultrasonic power is beneficial to reaching the best strengthening effect for ultrasonic mass transfer. When the ultrasonic power increases, the mass transfer obviously speeds up in the cryogen water; however, as the power increases to a certain extent, the flux reaches a plateau without obvious increment. Moreover, the ultrasound-enhanced mass transfer technology can reduce the minimum temperature of driving heat source required by ARS and promote the application of solar energy during absorption refrigeration.展开更多

The power is determined by flow of water in the stream which is responsible for rotating the blades. The research entails the water flow driven by a pump at 0.4 m/s and 0.6 m/s water velocities around a pool. The turbine is made to float under this free stream velocity. Feasibility study of its viability in Gari dam in Kano state of Nigeria was carried out and an average flow and discharge were determined during the dry season. Findings of this research were quite impressive and can be used to design a suitable floating zero-head turbine for energy harvesting in Nigerian rural areas where the head is low and energy is required not only for mechanization but also for lighting and irrigation purpose.展开更多

Based on the principle of chaos suppression with ntmrestmaat parametric drive, the trodel of detecting weak periodic signals in strong noise is Imilt. According to the parametric equivalent relationship obtained using averaging method and rmtmmlization method, the critical values of detection parameters are determined, which lead to a sudden change of system dynamical behavior from periodic orbit to stable equilibritma point. Sinmlation results show that weak periodic signals in strong noise can be detected acomately with the proposed system. The method can obtain aoawate rane of parameter threshold through tlxxtetical analysis, and the detection criterion is rather simple, which is more convenieat for automatic detection.展开更多
