Method Producing ESBLs bacteria were detected using standard double - disk spread test. Results Among 227 strains of Escherichia coli 120 strains of Klebsiella pneumoniase producing ESBLs bacteria accounted for 47.5% (108/227) ,57.5% (69/120),The wards isolated rate of ESBLs in the following order:59.4% in ICU wards,47.9% tumoral diseases wards and 23.9% others. Allproducing ESBLs bacteria were susceptible to imipenem. No strain was intermediately resistant. Conclusion This method was simple, credible and cheap. It was suitable for detection of ESBLs routinely in basic clinical micrology laboratory. The main source of producing ESBLs bacteria was ICU. To kill these bacteria imipenem can be used first, and then pipemcilline/tazobactan.展开更多
