Two novel fluorinated acrylate monomers 4a and 4b containing perfluorohexyl group were designed and synthesized starting from 4-allylanisole and perfluorohexyl iodide.The monomers 4a and 4b were then copolymerized with octadecyl acrylate and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate by emulsion polymerization to give copolymers PFA 1 and PFA 2 respectively.The co-polymers were characterized by FT-IR and their heat stability was measured by TGA.The surface properties of PFA 1 and PFA 2 were studied by applying on cotton fabrics.The treated cotton fabrics showed good water-repellent property,and the contact angles for water reached 142° for PFA 1 and 136° for PFA 2. 展开更多

EFFECT OF ANGIOTENSIN II RECEPTOR ANTAGONIST AND ENDOTHELIN RECEPTOR ANTAGONIST ON NITROGLYCERIN TOLERANCE IN RATS

Objective. To investigate whether angiotensin II receptor antagonist and endothelin receptor antagonist can improve the nitroglycerin (Nit) tolerance in vivo. Methods. Twenty- four rats were divided into 4 groups (n=6... Objective. To investigate whether angiotensin II receptor antagonist and endothelin receptor antagonist can improve the nitroglycerin (Nit) tolerance in vivo. Methods. Twenty- four rats were divided into 4 groups (n=6,each): Control group, Nitroglycerin (Nit) group, Nit+ bosentan group and Nit+ losartan group. Nitroglycerin tolerance was induced by 2- day treatment of nitroglycerin patch (0.05 mg/h). AngiotensinⅡ receptor antagonist losartan ( 10 mg· kg- 1· d- 1 ) and endothelin receptor antagonist bosentan ( 100 mg· kg- 1· d- 1 ) were given by gavage for 2 days respectively. Results. The least hypotensive response to sodium nitroprusside (SNP) was observed in Nit group . The effective percentages of hypotensive response to SNP were increased in both Nit+ losartan group and Nit+ bosentan group compared with Nit group [(31.95± 4.45 )% vs (21.00± 3.69 )% , P< 0.01 and (33.18± 6.16 )% vs (21.00± 3.69 )% , P< 0.01 ,respectively]. The maximal vessel relaxation induced by SNP was the same in 4 different groups but the highest EC50 (concentration which produces 50% of the maximal response to SNP) was found in tolerant group[(34± 10) nmol/ L,P < 0.01 .The ET- 1 amounts in plasma and vascular tissue were markedly increased by 54% and 60% in Nit group compared with those in control group(P< 0.01).The ET- 1 amounts in plasma and vascular tissue were decreased by 30% and 37% in Nit+ losartan group compared with those in Nit group (P< 0.01). Conclusion. Endothelin receptor antagonist and angiotensinⅡ receptor antagonist could prevent against the Nit tolerance . 展开更多

In order to prepare water-oil repellent and fire retardant textile finishing agent, 1H ,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyl acrylate (FA) and acryloyloxy-1, 3-his ( diethylphosphoramidate ) propan (BisDEAEPN) were copolymerized with 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate ( HEA ) and stearyl methacrylate ( SMA ) by emulsion polymerization to form fluorinated phosphorus-eantaining acrylate copolymer (PFPA). The copolymer was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT.IR) and the thermal stability was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The emulsion was applied on cotton fabric and the surface properties of treated fabric were studied. The treated surface showed good repellent properties as contact angle for water reached 145° and for n-dodecane 110° respectively. The surface also showed some flame retardant property with 22.5 % of limited oxygen index (LOI). 展开更多

The aim of this work was to study the effect of essential oils as natural antioxidant for inhibition of peroxidase enzyme activity. Peroxidase enzyme is one of the most important enzymes in plant tissue which can bind to hydrogen peroxide and produce an activated complex that can react with a wide range of donor molecules. Therefore inactivation of the enzyme may increase the shelf life of raw and un-blanched frozen vegetables. In order to inactivate of the enzyme several physical and chemical treatments among them heating (blanching), lowering pH or aw or adding chemical additives can be used, however each of the above mentioned methods has a kind of shortcoming. Our results indicated that crude extract of red cabbage and cabbage has the highest and potato and lettuce has the lowest peroxidase activity respectively (P〈0.05). Although peroxidase resistance to essential oils varied among different vegetables but clove in all concentration had the best effects in decrease ofperoxidase activity (P〈0.05) whereas cumin and fennel were partially able to reduce the enzyme activity. Development of Chitosan Film Incorporating Garlic Oil or Potassium Sorbate as an Antifungal Agent for Garlic Bread

Chitosan is a biopolymer material. Mechanical, physical and barrier properties of different chitosan films incorporating garlic oil at 25, 50 and 100 μL/g chitosan or potassium sorbate at 25, 50 and 100 mg/g chitosan as antifungal agents were studied. Addition of garlic oil or potassium sorbate into the films did not alter their color except at the highest concentration of garlic oil which resulted in a more yellowish film. Garlic oil reduced film strength and elongation but it had no effect on water vapor transmission rate. Potassium sorbate reduced film strength and water vapor transmission rate, but it increased oxygen transmission rate. Films containing garlic oil or potassium sorbate was used to wrap around garlic bread to evaluate its shelf life. The development of mold on the bread surface was observed daily. The results showed that garlic bread wrapped in chitosan film incorporating garlic oil had 23 days shelf life, compared with only 7 days shelf life of garlic bread without wrapping. Garlic bread wrapped by film containing potassium sorbate had 13 days shelf life. Garlic breads wrapped by the films incorporating either garlic oil or potassium sorbate were acceptable in terms of sensory evaluation. 展开更多

The present work summarizes recent investigations carried out about the usage of natural antioxidants in lipid-rich food during processing. Synthetic antioxidants have been used as food additives to retard lipid oxidation and development of off-flavor for over 50 years. However, the literature has expressed safety concerns and health risks (toxic and carcinogenic effects) associated with the use of synthetic antioxidants recently. Natural antioxidative substances from the polyphenols of edible plants are believed to be safer and may provide with additional health benefits and more effective compared to synthetic antioxidants. Due to the fact that natural antioxidants are additives that people mixed with food and consumed for centuries, they are known to be safe by the consumer. Therefore, it is an area worth to investigate due to consumer concerns about health. In the literature, there are many studies showing that the natural antioxidants have important antioxidant effect. Plants (oil seeds, cereals, vegetables, fruits, herb and spices), compounds from animal source (peptides and amino acids), enzymes and some microorganisms are important natural antioxidants. Plant extracts have been widely used to retard lipid oxidation in foods during frying and accelerated storage processes. They were found as strong antioxidant sources due to their high contents of phenolic compounds. There are countless studies about natural antioxidants. 川西老区中浅层气藏已整体处于低压、低产开采阶段,气井自身携液能力弱,泡沫排液是目前最经济有效的稳产工艺技术。但长期加注的泡排剂易与地层水、凝析油等混合,在井筒内形成高粘乳化液,难以返排,造成气井生产异常。文章根据乳化污染... 川西老区中浅层气藏已整体处于低压、低产开采阶段,气井自身携液能力弱,泡沫排液是目前最经济有效的稳产工艺技术。但长期加注的泡排剂易与地层水、凝析油等混合,在井筒内形成高粘乳化液,难以返排,造成气井生产异常。文章根据乳化污染气井特征,建立了综合诊断方法;优选抗油型泡排剂XA,能够增强含油条件下的泡沫膜强度,降低乳化过程中泡排剂的消耗,防止乳化污染;优选XJ型净化剂,含酸、表面活性剂等降粘组分,具有很好的破乳降粘效果。采用抗油型泡排预防、净化剂治理的方法,开展井筒乳化污染综合治理,井筒乳化液粘度平均由2.98MPa·s下降至1.22MPa·s,年增产天然气427×10^(4)m^(3),效果显著。 展开更多

Free radicals, which are generated in several biochemical reactions in the body, have been implicated as mediators of many diseases, including cancer, atherosclerosis and heart diseases. Although the endogenous antioxidants can scavenge these free radicals, they are often insufficient to maintain the in vivo redox balance. The antioxidant activity(AOA) was examined by addition of each tested antioxidants [alpha-tocopherol(α-T), beta-tocopherol(β-T), gamma-tocopherol(γ-T), delta-tocopherol(δ-T), butylated hydroxyanisole(BHA), 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol(BHT), and ascorbyle palmitate(AP)] to four types of different vegetable oils(sunflower oil, soybean oil, corn oil and olive oil). Moreover, content changes in fatty acids were then investigated every 3 months during the storage period. The results showed that the AOA was different among the tested antioxidants. The AOA for BHA was the most for different types of oil compared with other antioxidants, whereas the δ-T possessed the lowest AOA. 展开更多
