"诗者持也"这一训作为诗的三训之一,在中国整个文论长河中虽没有时时被提起,但是在时间序列的演进过程中,它的内涵及其所持的对象不断地被丰富着。"持"的大体含义是持正、持久,由此引发出"持己"、"持言"、"持世"三端。而在诗如何持这个问题上,则当"善志而持"、"慎志而发"。

The Generation of Typical Meteorological Year and Climatic Database of Turkey for the Energy Analysis of Buildings

For sustainable development, a reduction in energy demand is essential. This could be achieved through improving energy efficiency, effective energy conservation and management. The weather conditions of a given region are the most important consideration for the proper design of space AC （Air Conditioning） systems. In this study, the typical meteorological year and climatic database of Turkey for the energy analysis of buildings were generated by SQL （Structured Query Language） database programmimg language. The Finkelstein-Schafer statistical method was applied to analyze the hourly measured weather data of a 23-year period （1989-2012） and select representative TMMs （Typical Meteorological Months）. The selection criteria were based on 13 meteorological parameters. These parameters are the daily mean, maximum and minimum values and ranges of temperature, dew-point and wind velocity and the daily values of global solar radiation. According to results of TMY （Typical Meteorological Year）, climatic database of Turkey including daily or hourly climate variables was created in SQL data tables.

Wavelet De-noising of Speech Using Singular Spectrum Analysis for Decomposition Level Selection

The problem of speech enhancement using threshold de-noising in wavelet domain was considered.The appropriate decomposition level is another key factor pertinent to de-noising performance.This paper proposed a new wavelet-based de-noising scheme that can improve the enhancement performance significantly in the presence of additive white Gaussian noise.The proposed algorithm can adaptively select the optimal decomposition level of wavelet transformation according to the characteristics of noisy speech.The experimental results demonstrate that this proposed algorithm outperforms the classical wavelet-based de-noising method and effectively improves the practicability of this kind of techniques.

A WD-GA-LSSVM model for rainfall-triggered landslide displacement prediction

This paper proposes a WD-GA-LSSVM model for predicting the displacement of a deepseated landslide triggered by seasonal rainfall,in which wavelet denoising(WD)is used in displacement time series of landslide to eliminate the GPS observation noise in the original data,and genetic algorithm(GA)is applied to obtain optimal parameters of least squares support vector machines(LSSVM)model.The model is first trained and then evaluated by using data from a gentle dipping(~2°-5°)landslide triggered by seasonal rainfall in the southwest of China.Performance comparisons of WD-GA-LSSVM model with Back Propagation Neural Network(BPNN)model and LSSVM are presented,individually.The results indicate that the adoption of WD-GA-LSSVM model significantly improves the robustness and accuracy of the displacement prediction and it provides a powerful technique for predicting the displacement of a rainfall-triggered landslide.

＂Gwo＂ and ＂Dzy＂ in Huajian Ji and Yue Ou

In this paper, we focus our grammar studies on two early Cantonese literature contexts： Huajian Ji （花菚記, 1714） and Yue Ou （粤謳, 1820）. Two aspect markers, the experience aspect marker ＂gwo 過＂ and the duration aspect marker ＂dzy 住＂, in these two Cantonese books show different characteristics from oral Cantonese today. ＂Gwo＂, mostly used as an aspect marker of＂experience＂ and ＂repeat＂ in verbal expression, had the usage of＂unhappened experience＂ in the old books as a connection between this two aspects. Every step of ＂dzy＂＇s grammarlization process was clearly recorded in the written materials. By comparing with the aspect markers in Mandarin Chinese, the usage of the completion aspect marker ＂liu 了＂ found in these two books was also discussed. We argue the importance of literature context in diachronical grammar studies of dialect.

A front-end automation tool supporting design, verification and reuse of SOC

This paper describes an in-house developed language tool called VPerl used in developing a 250 MHz 32-bit high-performance low power embedded CPU core. The authors showed that use of this tool can compress the Verilog code by more than a factor of 5, increase the efficiency of the front-end design, reduce the bug rate significantly. This tool can be used to enhance the reusability of an intellectual property model, and facilitate porting design for different platforms.

Research of IDSS Architecture Based on Hybrid Systems

This paper discusses the necessity of building IDSS on hybrid systems, and adopts XML technology to manage isomeric knowledge in hybrid systems. The paper proposes a new architecture of hybrid systems based IDSS whose core system is isomeric knowledge system. The architecture is composed of knowledge component, problems processing system, data component and intelligent user interface. This new architecture aims to enhance the capability of integrating hybrid systems, to improve the supporting effectiveness of decision-making and the intelligent level of IDSS, and tries a new way to elevate the system’s ability of handling and learning knowledge.

Influences of teachers’attitudes and oral guidance on the persistence of young children aged 3-6 years old

Persistence is important in developing pre-school children’s ego control.Based on the fact that during the teaching process a teacher’s communication and actions will have a significant influence on young children,which is due to the teachers’high degree of control over them,four experiments were designed to probe the influences of teachers’attitudes and oral guidance on the development of persistence among infant students.The results indicate that different attitudes and oral guidance influence the development of persistence of young children differently.
