基于指定应力方法的混凝土开裂的三维数值模拟

基于指定应力方法,根据线弹性理论推导出了一种新的混凝土开裂的空间有限元列式,根据该有限元公式编制了相应的C++计算程序.通过3个算例,将该文算法与理论结果以及ABAQUS中XFEM计算结果进行对比,验证了该文开裂算法的正确性.与常规开裂... 基于指定应力方法,根据线弹性理论推导出了一种新的混凝土开裂的空间有限元列式,根据该有限元公式编制了相应的C++计算程序.通过3个算例,将该文算法与理论结果以及ABAQUS中XFEM计算结果进行对比,验证了该文开裂算法的正确性.与常规开裂算法相比,该文开裂算法开裂积分点的应力一旦指定为零(开裂状态),在后续计算中将不会出现非零,不需要迭代过程去调整为零,大大减少了迭代次数和每次迭代过程中需要处理的数据量;相较于ABAQUS中的XFEM算法只能使用一阶单元,本文开裂算法可以使用二阶单元进行开裂计算,在其他计算环境相同的情况下对开裂区域和开裂状态的判断更准确,这为商业有限元软件采用二阶单元进行更精细的开裂计算提供了一种新的途径和算法. 展开更多

Both researchers and managers have recently pointed out that the identification of correlation between different performmance indicators may lead to a better understanding of business. However, it is becoming more and more difficult to measure and analyze these indicators since the fast growing number of performance indicators and the complex relationships between them The existing categories failed to reflect these changes in an adequate way, and the quantitative analysis methods for identifying the characters of those pefformance indicators are still worthy of investigation. The main objective of this paper is to propose a practical methodology for managing and analyzing performance indicators in enterprises, which focuses on building up a performance indicator system and discovering the characters of those performance indicators by applying complex network methods. The empirical results of a telecommunieation enterprise show that the proposed method can be effective in understanding the correlations between performance indicators. 展开更多

Phosphate-solubilizing bacterial strains(6 Nos.) were isolated from the rhizosphere soils of two seagrasses(Halophila ovalis(R.Br.) Hook and Halodule pinifolia(Miki) Hartog) in the Vellar estuary.Experimental studies found that the strain PSSG6 was effective in phosphate solubilization with Phosphate Solubilization efficiency index E = 375 ± 8.54,followed by the strain PSSG5 with Phosphate Solubilization efficiency index E = 275 ± 27.3.Of the 6 strains isolated,the strains PSSG4 and PSSG5 be-longed to the genus Bacillus,and PSSG1,PSSG2 and PSSG3 were identified as Citrobacter sp.,Shigella sp.,and Klebsiella sp.,respectively,by conventional method,and PSSG6 was identified as Bacillus circulans using conventional and molecular methods. 展开更多

This paper proposes a precise localization algorithm for a quickly moving mobile robot.In order to localize a mobile robot with active beacon sensors,a relatively long time is needed,since the distance to the beacon is measured by transmitting time of the ultrasonic signal.The measurement time does not cause a high error rate when the mobile robot moves slowly.However,with an increase of the mobile robot’s speed,the localization error becomes too high to use for accurate mobile robot navigation.Therefore,in this research into high speed mobile robot operations,instead of using two active beacons for localization,an active beacon and dual compass are utilized to localize the mobile robot.This new approach resolves the high localization error caused by the speed of the mobile robot.The performance of the precise localization algorithm is verified by comparing it to the conventional method through real-world experiments. 展开更多

A Study on Quantitative Evaluation of Calligraphy Characters

In this study, a numerical method was proposed to evaluate the calligraphy work called calligraphy evaluation system. Four classical chirographies of "Kaisho", "Gyosho", "Sousho" and "Hiragana", and 47 characters for each chirography, were selected and analyzed by this system. The "Sumi" distribution of character was clarified from 12 directions and summarized into four parts of horizontal part, diagonal left part, vertical part and diagonal fight part. The character's contour line was converted to a signal data in order to calculate roundness index. The degree of character's radian was presented by roundness index. The smooth index was calculated at the same time. Additionally, width index, "Sumi" ratio, stability index also were calculated to contrast the features of each style. The main character points of four styles of "Kaisho', "Gyosho", "Sousho", "Hiragana" were extracted to compare each other, and provide a reference for learners. The learners could obtain the quantitative data to understand their work's characteristics. It can also be compared with other person's work by this system in order to improve learners' writing skill. 展开更多

This paper deals with almost sure and moment exponential stability of a class of predictor- corrector methods applied to the stochastic differential equations of Ito-type. Stability criteria for this type of methods are derived. The methods are shown to maintain almost sure and moment exponential stability for all sufficiently small timesteps under appropriate conditions. The authors consider the problem of boundary feedback stabilization of the 1D Euler gas dynamics locally around stationary states and prove the exponential stability with respect to the H2-norm. To this end, an explicit Lyapunov function as a weighted and squared H2-norm of a small perturbation of the stationary solution is constructed. The authors show that by a suitable choice of the boundary feedback conditions, the H2- exponential stability of the stationary solution follows. Due to this fact, the system is stabilized over an infinite time interval. Furthermore, exponential estimates for the C norm are derived. 展开更多

Predictors of early outcome in unstable pelvic fractures

Objective: To define the preoperative and intraoperative variables which may affect the immediate postoperative outcome in surgically managed patients with unstable pelvic fractures. Methods: This study was performed prospectively from January 2009 to June 2011 on 36 consecutive patients admitted to the trauma ward of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, with unstable pelvic injuries. Results: In the present study of 36 patients, 29 were managed surgically. Surgical duration was 2 hours in pa- tients operated on within 1 week and 3.4 hours in those operated on after 1 week. The blood loss was 550 ml when surgery was done after a week, but when done within a week it was 350 ml. The average blood loss through Pfanenstial approach was 360 ml, through posterior approach was 408 ml and through combined approach was 660 ml which was significantly high. Conclusion: Anterior approach to the pelvis would cause significantly more amount of blood loss than poste- rior approach and extemal fixation. Surgical approaches do not have any influence on the surgical duration or the infec- tion rate. The blood loss significantly increases when the surgical time is more than 1 h. The infection rate is not influ- enced by the duration of surgery. Presence or absence of associated injuries to the head, chest or abdomen is the main determinants of patient's survival and it greatly influ- ences the duration of hospital stay. 展开更多
