The article mainly elaborates the realization of automatic collection of the fingerprint image without damage.The process of collecting finger print image is a very essential step in automatic identifying system of fi...The article mainly elaborates the realization of automatic collection of the fingerprint image without damage.The process of collecting finger print image is a very essential step in automatic identifying system of fingerprint.The realization of automatic collection not only helps to raise the automatic degree of the system,but also eliminates the influence on fingerprint cutting by some artificial elements. The article has mainly done the following jobs:Firstly it systematically introduces the knowledge on fingerprint image.Secondly,it gives a lot of important knowledge and experience about improper collection of fingerprint on spot respectively,which combines the professional knowldege and experience of the police with their computer knowledge comprehensively.The third,which is also the key point of this article,after comparing many ways of automatic collection of fingerprint image without damage,it chooses“ten finger print card”as the main study object.At first,it discusses how to make use of the structural feature of the frame on the card to divide the original image into ten parts and make every part containing one fingerprint.Then,analyze further the featurse of gray degree distribution and area in each part of fingerprint region.After referring to and improving the calculation method of obscurification ,double valuing,obtaining maximum coherence area and finger print center,it adds the calculation method of object expansion,post-treatment for contained overlapping frame lines.The experiment of automatic collection without damage on 1000 fingerprints from 100 persons has got a good result.The accuracy rate has risen from 95 percent of the original to 96.5 percent of the present.Fourthly,it gives some new thoughts of further study on some main problems now exist about this subject.展开更多
