An ANP model was induced by injection of 50 g/L sodium taurocholate under the pancreatic membrane (4 mL/kg). C group received isovolumetric injection of 9 g/L physiological saline solution using the same method. T group received injection of TMP (10 mL/kg) via portal vein. Radioactive biomicrosphere technique was used to measure the blood flow at 0.5, 2, 6 and 12 h after the induction of ANP. Samples of pancreas, distal ileum were collected to observe pathological changes using a validated histology score. Intestinal tissues were also used for examination of myeloperoxidase (MPO) expressed intraceUularly in azurophilic granules of neutrophils.RESULTS: The blood flow was significantly lower in P group than in C group (P 〈 0.01). The pathological changes were aggravated significantly in P group. The longer the time, the severer the pathological changes. The intestinal MPO activities were significantly higher in P group than in C group (P 〈 0.01). The blood flow of intestine was significantly higher in T group than in P group after 2 h (P 〈 0.01). The pathological changes were alleviated significantly in T group. MPO activities were significantly lower in T group than in P group (P 〈 0.01 or P 〈 0.05). There was a negative correlation between intestinal blood flow and MPO activity (r = -0.981, P 〈 0.01) as well as between intestinal blood flow and pathologic scores (r = -0.922, P 〈 0.05).CONCLUSION: MCD is an important factor for intestinal injury in ANP. TMP can ameliorate the condition of MCD and the damage to pancreas and intestine.展开更多

Fatigue damage reliability analysis of some critical members of the Nanjing Yangtze river bridge was carried out by using the strain-time histories measured by the structural health monitoring system of the bridge. The corresponding stress spectra were obtained by the real-time rain-flow counting method. Results of fatigue damage were calculated respectively by the reliability method at different reliability and compared with Miner’s rule. The results show that the fatigue damage of critical members of the Nanjing Yangtze river bridge is very small due to its low live-load stress level.展开更多

In order to extend the research in this field, the damage alarming technique for bridge expansion joints based on long-term monitoring data was developed. The effects of environmental factors on the expansion joint displacement were analyzed. Multiple linear regression models were obtained to describe the correlation between displacements and the dominant environmental factors. The damage alarming index was defined based on the multiple regression models. At last, the X-bar control chart was utilized to detect the abnormal change of the displacements. Analysis results reveal that temperature and traffic condition are the dominant environmental factors to influence the displacement. When the confidence level of X-bar control chart is set to be 0.003, the false-positive indications of damage can be avoided. The damage sensitivity analysis shows that the proper X-bar control chart can detect 0.1 cm damage-induced change of the expansion joint displacement. It is reasonably believed that the proposed technique is robust against false-positive indication of damage and suitable to alarm the possible future damage of the expansion joints.展开更多
