We use the 3D curvelet transform and modify the EPSI method to the sparse inversion of the biconvex optimization and Ll-norm regularization, and use alternating optimization to directly estimate the primary reflection coefficients and source wavelet. The 3D curvelet transform is used as a sparseness constraint when inverting the primary reflection coefficients, which results in avoiding the prediction subtraction process in the surface-related multiples elimination (SRME) method. The proposed method not only reduces the damage to the effective waves but also improves the elimination of multiples. It is also a wave equation- based method for elimination of surface multiple reflections, which effectively removes surface multiples under complex submarine conditions.展开更多

To overcome the shortcomings of the traditional multibeam survey and data processing, a new method is presented for the precise determination of the instantaneous height at the multibeam transducer by the blend of GPS...To overcome the shortcomings of the traditional multibeam survey and data processing, a new method is presented for the precise determination of the instantaneous height at the multibeam transducer by the blend of GPS height and heave signals. Before signal blend, GPS height and heave signals need to be corrected first to the transducer center by attitude correction. Second, the GPS height needs to be checked and modified by heave check and modification itself. Butterworth and FFT (fast Fourier transformation) were used in the signal blend. Finally, FFT is thought to be appropriate in signal processing. The new method efficiently overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional method, and this is proven well by the MBS (multibeam bathymetric system) experiment.展开更多

By using both signal strength and terminal location information, necessary handover is triggered promptly and accurately to reduce the negative effect of long signaling delay. Then handover decision is made with the handover queuing and channel allocation strategy. An adaptive channel resource allocation scheme is considered to optimize resource utilization with guarantee of emergency communication, which is significant for emergency rescue and disaster relief. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme prevents unnecessary handover effectively and has favorable adaptability to emergent requirement of satellite communication.展开更多

In the laser displacement sensors measurement system,the laser beam direction is an important parameter.Particularly,the azimuth and pitch angles are the most important parameters to a laser beam.In this paper,based o...In the laser displacement sensors measurement system,the laser beam direction is an important parameter.Particularly,the azimuth and pitch angles are the most important parameters to a laser beam.In this paper,based on monocular vision,a laser beam direction measurement method is proposed.First,place the charge coupled device(CCD)camera above the base plane,and adjust and fix the camera position so that the optical axis is nearly perpendicular to the base plane.The monocular vision localization model is established by using circular aperture calibration board.Then the laser beam generating device is placed and maintained on the base plane at fixed position.At the same time a special target block is placed on the base plane so that the laser beam can project to the special target and form a laser spot.The CCD camera placed above the base plane can acquire the laser spot and the image of the target block clearly,so the two-dimensional(2D)image coordinate of the centroid of the laser spot can be extracted by correlation algorithm.The target is moved at an equal distance along the laser beam direction,and the spots and target images of each moving under the current position are collected by the CCD camera.By using the relevant transformation formula and combining the intrinsic parameters of the target block,the2D coordinates of the gravity center of the spot are converted to the three-dimensional(3D)coordinate in the base plane.Because of the moving of the target,the3D coordinates of the gravity center of the laser spot at different positions are obtained,and these3D coordinates are synthesized into a space straight line to represent the laser beam to be measured.In the experiment,the target parameters are measured by high-precision instruments,and the calibration parameters of the camera are calibrated by a high-precision calibration board to establish the corresponding positioning model.The measurement accuracy is mainly guaranteed by the monocular vision positioning accuracy and the gravity center extraction accuracy.The experimental results show the maximum error of the angle between laser beams reaches to0.04°and the maximum error of beam pitch angle reaches to0.02°.展开更多

These feeding points when excited one by one generate four tilted beams in four different space quadrants, thus yielding a beam steerable antenna, Importantly, since the proposed antenna is symmetrical in the structure, all the four tilted beams have the same radiation pattern characteristics. This improves the MSE minimization cyclic beamformer by reducing effectively the Opt-FrFY domain signal-noise cross terms in the presence of finite data length de-correlation operation. Simulation results show that the new method works well under a wide range of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and signal-to-interference ratio (SIR).展开更多

In this paper, a flexible approach for CCD camera calibration using 2D direct linear transformation (DLT) and bundle adjustment is proposed. The proposed approach assumes that the camera interior orientation elements are known, and addresses a new closed form solution in planar object space based on homogenous coordinate representation and matrix factorization. Homogeneous coordinate representation offers a direct matrix correspondence between the parameters of the 2D DLT and the collinearity equation. The matrix factorization starts by recovering the elements of the rotation matrix and then solving for the camera position with the collinearity equation. Camera calibration with high precision is addressed by bundle adjustment using the initial values of the camera orientation elements. The results show that the calibration precision of principal point and focal length is about 0.2 and 0.3 pixels respectivelv, which can meet the requirements of close-range photogrammetry with high accuracy.展开更多

In this paper we propose using rigid constraints described in different coordina...Pose and structure estimation from a single image is a fundamental problem in machine vision and multiple sensor fusion and integration. In this paper we propose using rigid constraints described in different coordinate frames to iteratively estimate structural and camera pose parameters. Using geometric properties of reflected correspondences we put forward a new concept, the reflected pole of a rigid transformation. The reflected pole represents a general analysis of transformations that can be applied to both 2D and 3D transformations. We demonstrate how the concept is applied to calibration by proposing an iterative method to estimate the structural parameters of objects. The method is based on a coarse-to-fine strategy in which initial estimation is obtained through a classical linear algorithm which is then refined by iteration. For a comparative study of performance, we also implemented an extended motion estimation algorithm (from 2D-2D to 3D-2D case) based on epipolar geometry.展开更多

Test tube bundle consists of 36 cooling tubes, 12 condensate supply tubes and 24 un-cooled dummy tubes. Cooling test tubes are made of copper and have an outer diameter of 19.1 mm and condensing length of 150 mm, Steam flows horizontally through the test tube bundle at gap velocities 15-27 m/s at pressures of 8.8 kPa. In this study, experimental data about condensate flow pattern and condensation heat transfer in a tube bundle were collected for the optimization of tube arrangement in large power plant condensers.展开更多

The UF membrane was hollow fiber with a mol...Filters filled with a micelle-clay complex mixed with sand were employed to investigate their purification capability of tertiary treated wastewater with loose UF-membranes. The UF membrane was hollow fiber with a molecular weight cutoff of 100 kD. The complex was prepared from the organic cation octadecyltrimethylammonium (ODTMA) and the negatively charged clay-mineral, montmoriIIonite. This complex has a very large surface area, which includes large hydrophobic domains and is positively charged, about half of the cation exchange capacity of the clay. Two sets of filtration experiments were carried out at flow rates of 1.2 and 50 mL/min, which correspond to flow velocities of 3.7 and 153 cm/h, respectively. In the first case, after a passage of 1 L, the turbidity, total suspended solids (TSS), fecal coliforms (FC), and total coliforms (TC) were reduced to zero from 14 NTU, 6 ppm, 350 and 10,000 counts per 100 mL, respectively. In the second case, the numbers of FC and TC were reduced from 50,000/100 mL to zero after the passage of 14 L. The values of COD and BOD were reduced several-fold. The conclusion is that the incorporation of micelle-clay filters in the sewage treatment system with loose tertiary capability is promising and warrants larger scale experiments for optimization of the overall system.展开更多

Experimental results show that when a Gaussian pulse is applied to the PolM, under different phase shifts introduced by the PC, a gauss or gauss doublet pulse will be generated at the output of the Polarization Beam Splitter (PBS). The state |α,γ 】 λ, can be generated byusing the setup composing of a beam splitter and a parametric down-conversion amplifier. Applicationof the state is briefly discussed.
文摘In order to clarify the effect of condensate inundation on steam condensation in a large tube bundle, condensation heat transfer and the condensate flow pattern in the tube bundle have been experimentally investigated. Test tube bundle consists of 36 cooling tubes, 12 condensate supply tubes and 24 un-cooled dummy tubes. Cooling test tubes are made of copper and have an outer diameter of 19.1 mm and condensing length of 150 mm, Steam flows horizontally through the test tube bundle at gap velocities 15-27 m/s at pressures of 8.8 kPa. In this study, experimental data about condensate flow pattern and condensation heat transfer in a tube bundle were collected for the optimization of tube arrangement in large power plant condensers.
文摘Filters filled with a micelle-clay complex mixed with sand were employed to investigate their purification capability of tertiary treated wastewater with loose UF-membranes. The UF membrane was hollow fiber with a molecular weight cutoff of 100 kD. The complex was prepared from the organic cation octadecyltrimethylammonium (ODTMA) and the negatively charged clay-mineral, montmoriIIonite. This complex has a very large surface area, which includes large hydrophobic domains and is positively charged, about half of the cation exchange capacity of the clay. Two sets of filtration experiments were carried out at flow rates of 1.2 and 50 mL/min, which correspond to flow velocities of 3.7 and 153 cm/h, respectively. In the first case, after a passage of 1 L, the turbidity, total suspended solids (TSS), fecal coliforms (FC), and total coliforms (TC) were reduced to zero from 14 NTU, 6 ppm, 350 and 10,000 counts per 100 mL, respectively. In the second case, the numbers of FC and TC were reduced from 50,000/100 mL to zero after the passage of 14 L. The values of COD and BOD were reduced several-fold. The conclusion is that the incorporation of micelle-clay filters in the sewage treatment system with loose tertiary capability is promising and warrants larger scale experiments for optimization of the overall system.

文摘We construct the integrable deformations of the Heisenberg supermagnet model with the quadratic constraints (i) S2=3S - 2I, for S ∈ USPL(2/1)/S(U(2)×U(1)) and (ii) S2=S, for S ∈ USPL(2/1)/S(L(1/1)×U(1)). Under the gauge transformation, their corresponding gauge equivalent counterparts are derived. They are the Grassman odd and super mixed derivative nonlinear Schrodinger equation, respectively.

文摘The phase transition of a simple local gauge model is investigated in terms of the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio mechanism and it is pointed out that the physical vacuum of QCD is bound state of quark-antiquark pairs which can be viewed, generally, as a nearly perfect color dia-electric medium. An important relation between the vacuum expectation value of gauge fields and scalar fields is also derived by solving the Euler equation for the gauge fields. Based on this relation the gauge potential is given which can be used to explain the asymptotic behavior and confinement of quarks in a hadron, and at the same time the Yukawa potential of strong interaction can be given too.

文摘In order to generate optical Ultra- Wideband (UWB) pulse train with a switchable shape, a novel method based on a Polarization Modulator (PolM), a Polarization Controller (PC) and a delay line, is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Experimental results show that when a Gaussian pulse is applied to the PolM, under different phase shifts introduced by the PC, a gauss or gauss doublet pulse will be generated at the output of the Polarization Beam Splitter (PBS). If the two- path signals after PBS are properly delayed, Gaussian monocycles or third-order gauss pulses will be generated at the output of the Polarization Beam Combiner (PBC).
