How to find more effective way to stabilize the borehole wall in the fault gouge section is the key technical challenge to control the stability of the borehole wall in the Wenchuan fault gouge section during the process of core drilling. Here we try to describe the characters of deep fault gouge in fracture zones from the undisturbed fault gouge samples which are obtained during the core drilling. The X- Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) provided the detailed information of the fault gouge's microscopic characteristics on the density, moisture content, expansibility, dispersity, permeability, tensile strength and other main physical-mechanical properties. Based on these systematic experimental studies above and analysis of the fault gouge instability mechanism, a new technical procedure to stabilize the borehole wall is proposed -- a low water and a low loss low permeability drilling fluid system that consists of 4% day + 0.5% CMC-HV + 2% S-1 + 3%sulfonated asphalt + 1% SMC + 0.5% X-1 + 0-5% T type lubricant + barite for core drilling in fault gouge sections. 展开更多

Application of Holter ECG Signal Analysis Based on Wavelet and Data Mining Technique

A new model based on dyadic differential wavelet was developed for detecting the R peak in Holter ECG signal according to the design of data mining. The Mallat recursive filter algorithm was introduced to calculate wavelet and optimize the detection algorithm which is based on the equivalent filter technique. The detection algorithm has been verified by MIT arrhythmia database with a high efficiency of 99%. After optimization, the algorithm was put into clinical experiment and tested in the Air Force Hospital in Tianjin for about two months. After about 108 hearts beating test of more than 100 patients, the total efficient detection rate has reached 97%. Now this algorithm module has been applied in business software and shows perfect performance under the complex conditions such as the inversion of heart beating, the falling off of the electrodes, the excursion of base line and so on. 展开更多

The Penn State Worry Questionnaire(PSWQ) is a measure of worry phenomena and has been demonstrated valid in cross-cultural populations. The present study examined the factor structure and psychometric properties of the Chinese version of PSWQ(Ch-PSWQ) in a Chinese college sample(n=1243). Exploratory factor analysis of the Ch-PSWQ revealed a two-factor solution(engagement of worry and absence of worry). Confirmatory factor analysis and model comparison supported that the model of one factor with method effect provided the best fit to the data. The Ch-PSWQ and its factors evidenced good internal consistency and both convergent and discriminate validity. The present study supports the opinion that the second factor of PSWQ not only contains the component of evaluating pathological worry,but also might represent other traits. 展开更多

For the first time we investigate the basal thermal condition in the upper area of Jima Yangzong Glacier, the headstream of Yarlung Zangbo River, using ground-penetrating radar techniques. With common offset and common mid-point surveys we analyze the radar velocities in ice with respect to cold-temperate ice transi- tion surface (0.1751 0.0028 m ns-~) and ice-bedrock interface (0.1657 + 0.0033 m ns-a), indicating a radar velocity of 0.1410 4- 0.0154 m ns-1 for the temperate ice layer (16.6 ~ 1.8 m). We estimate that the temperate ice layer has a water content of around 6 % 4- 4 %, suggesting that the Jima Yangzong Glacier, previously known as continental-type, now possibly becomes polythermal. 展开更多

Objective: To investigate the necessity of modification to the traditional pigtail probe and evaluate its efficiency and therapeutic effect in searching the nasal cut ends and anastomosing the lacerated lacrimal canaliculus. Methods: Eighty-seven patients (including 87 eyes) suffering from canalicular laceration were randomized into two groups: 41 patients treated with traditional pigtail probes (Group A) and 46 with modified pigtail probes (Group B). During the reconstruction of the lacerated canaliculi, the traditional pigtail probe and the modified pigtail probe were used respectively to seek for the nasal cut ends of lacerated lacrimal canaliculi. Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICCTM) silicone tube with diameter of 0.95 mm was intubated as a stent for 4-6 months. The surgical outcomes were retrospectively analyzed after stent removal. Results: In Group B, the primary success rate of searching the nasal cut ends of lacerated lacrimal canaliculi was 93.48% (43/46) and the final success rate was 97.83% (45/46). No false passage formed in Group B. Statistical sig- nificance was found between Group A and Group B as the primary success rates of searching the nasal cut ends ( x^2 = 10.522, P〈0.01) and the false passage forming rates were concerned ( x^2=4.704, P〈0.05), whereas no significance was found between the two groups as the final success rates were concerned ( x^2=0.007, P〉0.05). The mean time of searching the nasal cut ends of lacerated lacrimal canaliculi in Group B was (5.02±2.73) minutes and the mean time of operation was (33.90±4.84) minutes, and both were significantly shorter than those of Group A (t1=9.779, t2=10.700, P〈0.01). The cure rate of Group B was 95.65%, though higher than that of Group A, no statistical significance was found (Z=-1.007, P〉0.05). Totally, 2 patients (2.30%) were found to be absent of common canaliculus and underwent bicanalicular nasal intubation in the two groups. Conclusions: Pigtail probes are efficient and convenient apparatus for searching the nasal cut ends of the lacerated lacrimal canaliculi in the reconstruction of canalicular laceration. Necessary or proper modifications to the pigtail probes can minimize the risk of iatrogenic damages or complications and enhance the efficiency and therapeutic effect of canalicular repair. 展开更多

Each sensor node is integrated with the light source, 1-3 FBG sensing probes, wavelength demodulation, and wireless communication module. Via self-organized clusters and low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) route protocols, the sensor nodes are able to exchange sensing data with the control center, and the maximum communication radius of a sensor node is over 170m. The sensor node is battery-powered with a survival lifetime of up to 120 days at a network refresh rate of 5 minutes. 展开更多
