[Method] Through the comparative analysis, the survival rate, new germi-nation and yield characteristics of the cutting stems with different heights by stem grafting and bark grafting. [Result] The best cutting stem height of cashew should be in 100-150 cm, when the number of new germinated shoots was 85.5-87.7. Stem grafting could significantly improve the survival rate of the shooting branch (92.7%), growth condition of which was better than that of bark grafting, and it also had no clip cortex. The yield of stem grafting was significantly higher than that of bark grafting, and it could reach up to 18.1 kg/plant in 4 years. The branches from stem grafting had significantly better ability in resisting the wind damage than those from bark grafting. [Conclusion] The study provided references for the crown grafting of cashew planting in China.展开更多

Methods: One hundred and twenty patients were randomized into two groups. The 68 cases in the treatment group received intensive warm needling therapy, and 52 cases in the control group was treated by small needle-knife therapy. Results: The therapeutic effects were similar between the two groups. A follow-up study showed that the relapse rate was lower in the treatment group. Conclusion: Both small knife-needle and intensive warm needling therapy are effective in treating the third lumbar transverse process syndrome. But, intensive warm needling therapy has easier operation and lower relapse rate.展开更多

Fixation with CD and fixation with CD combined with translaminar facet joint screw were achieved to compare their stability. Thirty cases of thoracolumbar fracture, in whom the anterior edge of vertebral body was compressed to 59% and the posterior edge compressed to 88%, were treated by pedicle screw fixation combined with TLS. Among them, 19 received posterolateral or anterior-posterior bone graftingResults: There was significant difference in ROM between the two techniques except that in extension. In Group CD+TLS, ROM was (5.38)% lower, lateral bending (4.91)% lower and axial rotation (11.85)% lower than those in Group CD respectively. In the clinical group, the average anterior edge restored to 97% and posterior edge to 98%. The duration of follow-up was 5-24 months (mean, 10 months). The rate of correction loss on the anterior edge was (4.5)%. Among the 19 cases of bone grafting, all of them achieved bony fusion (mean fusion time, (4.3) month) with a correction loss rate of (3.4)%.Conclusions: In the treatment of thoracolumbar fracture, pedicle screw fixation combined with TLS can strengthen the stability of pedicle screws, especially anti-rotation stability and enhance fusion rate and reduce correction loss.展开更多
