With excessive utilization of antibiotics in recent years,bacterial drug resistance problem is serious increasingly,and it is more and more difficult to develop anti-infective drug,while it does not have these problem...With excessive utilization of antibiotics in recent years,bacterial drug resistance problem is serious increasingly,and it is more and more difficult to develop anti-infective drug,while it does not have these problems to use phage controlling disease.Phage is a kind of prokaryotic virus,widely exists in the nature and includes bacteriophage,cyanophage and actinophage.Due to its potential of replacing antibiotics to treat disease,phage receives more and more attention.In this paper,based on development status of phage research at home and abroad,discovery process,naming method and classification basis of phage are introduced comprehensively,and advantages and limitations of phage applying in prevention and control of bacterial diseases are analyzed.We introduce application status of phage in human medicine,prevention and control of diseases for terrestrial animals and aquaculture,and the effects of phage in sewage treatment,prevention and control of microbial contamination of food and detection technology,and point out the shortages of phage in the above application.Meanwhile,we also discuss application prospects of phage in disease prevention and control,environmental protection and food safety.展开更多

Most weigh feeders employed in industry are controlled by proportional and integral (PI) compensation, and the control performance is decided by the selection of parameters. To attain advanced control performance by PI control, the PI parameters are designed on the basis of generalized minimum variance control (GMVC). In this study, to achieve user-specified control performance by GMVC-based PI control, the design parameters of GMVC are automatically adjusted using a performance-adaptive method. The control performance discussed in this study consists of the variance of the control error and that of the difference in the control input. In a conventional performance-adaptive method, the variance of the control error is reduced. In this study, to reduce energy consumption and to achieve user-specified control performance, the variance of the difference in the control input is specified and the design parameter is determined. To demonstrate its effectiveness, the proposed method is applied to an actual weigh feeder.展开更多
The aim of the article is to propose the method of designing double regulation control valves used in heating installations, allowing to obtain a constant value of the so-called inner authority and thus the constancy ...The aim of the article is to propose the method of designing double regulation control valves used in heating installations, allowing to obtain a constant value of the so-called inner authority and thus the constancy of the valve control characteristic, regardless of the pre-setting value set on the valve. The shape of the valve's regulation characteristics is one of the main factors determining the quality of the quantitative regulation, and thus the stability of the system's operation and overall operating costs. For this reason, the issue discussed in the article is important and can be applied in practical implementations of the valve sizing and the valve selection. The analysis was based on the relations binding the hydraulic resistances occurring inside the control valve, and the corresponding flow factors, using original author's proposal. The experimental verification was performed on a special measuring stand prepared for this purpose, measuring the values of the medium volume flow at a constant differential pressure, and then the results were converted into values of the flow factor, used in the proposed mathematical model. The results confirm the thesis put forward and the proposed mathematical model. High convergence of the results of experimental verification with the proposed mathematical model was obtained.展开更多
