Methods Experiments based on different membership functions,scaling factors and con-trol rules were done separately.The experiment results and the influence of different know- ledge base on the control performance were analysed in theory so that criteria of selcting knowledge base can be summarized correctly.Results Knowledge base,including membershipfunctions, scaling factors and control rules,has a crucial effect on the fuzzy control system.Suitably selected knowledge base can lead to good control performance of fuzzy control sys-tem. Conclusion Being symmetric,having an intersection ratio of 1 and satisfying width con- dition are three necessities for selecting membership functions.Selecting scaling factors dependson both the system requirement and a comprehensive analysis in the overshoot,oscillation, rising time and stability. In order to achieve the Quality of Service(QoS) provisioning and efficient resource utili-zation in cellular network and Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN) integration,an Integrated Ser-vice-Based Call Admission Contro...In order to achieve the Quality of Service(QoS) provisioning and efficient resource utili-zation in cellular network and Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN) integration,an Integrated Ser-vice-Based Call Admission Control(ISB-CAC) scheme is proposed in this paper.The integrated network is modeled by using multi-dimensional Markov chains.The numerical analysis is presented to evaluate the important performance measures such as the blocking probability of originating calls,the dropping probability,and the average transfer time,etc.The steady-state probabilities of the multi-dimensional Markov chains are obtained by using an iterative approach,and the CAC pa-rameters are optimally designed.The analytical model is validated by the computer simulation.It is shown that compared with the conventional WLAN-First Call Admission Control(WF-CAC) scheme,the proposed ISB-CAC scheme not only provides better QoS for mobile users but also utilizes the bandwidth resources more efficiently.展开更多

Metapopulation models are ...The research on spatial epidemic models is a topic of considerable recent interest. In another hand, the advances in computer technology have stimulated the development of stochastic models. Metapopulation models are spatial designs that involve movements of individuals between distinct subpopulations. The purpose of the present work has been to develop stochastic models in order to study the transmission dynamics and control of infectious diseases in metapopulations. The authors studied Susceptible-Infected-Susceptible (SIS) and Susceptible-lnfected-Recovered (SIR) epidemic schemes, using the Gillespie algorithm, Computational numerical simulations were carried in order to explore the models. The results obtained show how the dynamics of transmission and the application of control measures within each subpopulation may affect all subpopulations of the system. They also show how the distribution of control measures among subpopulations affects the efficacy of these strategies. The dynamics of the stochastic models developed in the current study follow the trends observed in the classic deterministic designs. Also, the present models exhibit fluctuating behavior. This work highlights the importance of the spatial distribution of the population in spread and control of infectious diseases. In addition, it shows how chance could play an important role in these scenarios.展开更多

A FS-MPC (f...This paper focuses on a combination of three-phase VSI (voltage source inverter) with a predictive current control to provide an optimized system for three-phase inverters that control the load current. A FS-MPC (finite set-model predictive control) strategy for a three-phase VSI for RES (renewable energy systems) applications is implemented. The renewable energy systems model is used in this paper to investigate the system performance when power is supplied to resistive-inductive load. With three different cases, the evaluation of the system is done. Firstly, the robustness of control strategy under variable DC-Link is done in terms of the THD (total harmonic distortion). Secondly, with one prediction step, the system performance is tested using different sampling time, and lastly, the dynamic response of the system with step change in the amplitude of the reference is investigated. The simulations and result analyses are carried out using Matlab/Simulink to test the effectiveness and robustness of FS-MPC for two-level VSI with AC filter for resistive-inductive load supplied by a renewable energy system.展开更多

It needs various actions and expressions because of the nature of a puppet. The biggest problem which executes this is the ways to create a system. This thesis proposes motion capture of developed method with solution of this problem. So, we create various contents needed by puppet. In this part, developed method means a mixed method on the basis of optical system and magnetic system used mainly for the present method of motion capture. We lessen the weak points of each method and propoe solution of create motion for pupct by offering more advantages. So we solve difficulties of executing puppet and probable probkans when we execute puppet by using robot. The solution of this thesis is proven by applying control of puppet.展开更多
Flood control system risk evaluation is an effective measure for flood risk management and decisions.In order to make better flood risk decisions and thereby improve social and economic benefits,the flood control risk...Flood control system risk evaluation is an effective measure for flood risk management and decisions.In order to make better flood risk decisions and thereby improve social and economic benefits,the flood control risk evaluation index system should be built to quantify and normalize flood risk effectively and efficiently.Because the current evaluation index has the binary miscibility characteristic of fuzziness and clarity,this paper establishes a new flood control system risk evaluation method based on the theory of variable sets(VS).Through a comparison of flood control risk evaluation with variable fuzzy sets(VFS) in the same basin flood control system risk evaluation,it is revealed that the new method,i.e.,flood control risk evaluation with variable fuzzy/clear mixture sets(variable sets),will be reasonable in all cases.Finally,in one case study,i.e.,the flood control system risk evaluation of Fengman Reservoir Basin,which is located in the southeast central of Jilin Province in China,the risk evaluation levels for each county in the basin as well as the whole flood risk distribution map of the basin could be provided with the new method.This provides useful information for basin flood control planning and design.展开更多
