The flight performance optimization algorithms, developed with energy state approximation approach, are first introduced, the functionally integrated flight path/speed control system, so called total energy control system (TECS), is then discussed, and the guidance technique and algorithms, which relate the performance optimization results directly with the TECS, are analyzed and developed. Digital simulation results for a specific transport aircraft model demonstrate the satisfactory performances of the resulted flight performance management system.展开更多
A networked control and supervision system (NCSS) based on LonWorks fieldbus and lntranet/Intemet was designed, which was composed of the universal intelligent control nodes (ICNs), the visual control and supervis...A networked control and supervision system (NCSS) based on LonWorks fieldbus and lntranet/Intemet was designed, which was composed of the universal intelligent control nodes (ICNs), the visual control and supervision configuration platforms (VCCP and VSCP) and an Intranet/Internet-based remote supervision platform (RSP). The ICNs were connected to field devices, such as sensors, actuators and controllers. The VCCP and VSCP were implemented by means of a graphical programming environment and network management so as to simplify the tasks of programming and maintaining the ICNs. The RSP was employed to perform the remote supervision function, which was based on a three-layer browser/server(B/S) structure mode. The validity of the NCSS was demonstrated by laboratory experiments.展开更多
Halloysite nanotube-composited thermo-responsive hydrogel system has been successfully developed for controlled drug release by copolymerization of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) with silane-modified halloysite nanot...Halloysite nanotube-composited thermo-responsive hydrogel system has been successfully developed for controlled drug release by copolymerization of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) with silane-modified halloysite nanotubes (HNT) through thermally initiated free-radical polymerization. With methylene blue as a model drug, thermo-responsive drug release results demonstrate that the drug release from the nanotubes in the composited hy-drogel can^be well controlled by manipulating the environmental temperature. When the hydrogel network is swol- len at temperature below the lower critical solution temperature (LCST), drug releases steadily from lumens of the embedded nanotubes, whereas the drug release stops when hydrogel shrinks at temperature above the LCST. The release of model drug from the HNT-composited hydrogel matches well with its thermo-responsive volume phasetransition, and shows characteristics of well controlled release. The design strategy and release results of the pro- posed novel HNT-composited thermo-responsive hydrogel system provide valuable guidance for designing respon- s_i_ve nanocomposites for controlled-release of active agents.展开更多
A great number of pipelines in China are in unsatisfactory condition and faced with problems of corrosion and cracking,but there are very few approaches for underwater pipeline detection.Pipeline detection autonomous ...A great number of pipelines in China are in unsatisfactory condition and faced with problems of corrosion and cracking,but there are very few approaches for underwater pipeline detection.Pipeline detection autonomous underwater vehicle(PDAUV) is hereby designed to solve these problems when working with advanced optical,acoustical and electrical sensors for underwater pipeline detection.PDAUV is a test bed that not only examines the logical rationality of the program,effectiveness of the hardware architecture,accuracy of the software interface protocol as well as the reliability and stability of the control system but also verifies the effectiveness of the control system in tank experiments and sea trials.The motion control system of PDAUV,including both the hardware and software architectures,is introduced in this work.The software module and information flow of the motion control system of PDAUV and a novel neural network-based control(NNC) are also covered.Besides,a real-time identification method based on neural network is used to realize system identification.The tank experiments and sea trials are carried out to verify the feasibility and capability of PDAUV control system to complete underwater pipeline detection task.展开更多
