In the analysis of a structure subjected to an explosion event, the determination of the blast load constitutes a crucial step. The effect of the blast load on the structure depends not only on the peak shock overpressure, but also the impulse (hence the duration). For structures with a regular geometry, the blast load may be fairly well estimated using appropriate empirical formulae; however, for more complex situations, a direct simulation using appropriate computational techniques is necessary. This paper presents a numerical simulation study on the prediction of the blast load in free air using a hydrocode, with focus on the sensitivity of the simulated blast load to the mesh grid size. The simulation results are compared with empirical predictions. It is found that the simulated blast load is sensitive to the mesh size, especially in the close-in range, and with a practically affordable mesh grid density, the blast load tends to be systematically underestimated. The study is extended to internal blast cases. An example concrete slab under internal explosion is analyzed using a coupled analysis scheme. The internal blast load from the simulation is examined and the response of the RC slab is commented. 展开更多

A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method is developed to investigate the radical motion of single cavitating bubble in the oscillating pressure field of a cavitating water jet. Regarding water as a compressible fluid, the simulation is performed at different oscillating frequencies. It is found that the bubble motion presents obvious nonlinear feature, and bifurcation and chaos appear on some conditions. The results manifest the indetermination of the cavitating bubble motion in the oscillating pressure field of the cavitating water jet. 展开更多

壁面清洗机器人悬停状态下的吸附稳定性分析

针对推力吸附式壁面清洗机器人悬停状态下的吸附稳定性问题,考虑机器人在垂直壁面工作时滑移、倾覆两种失稳现象,对机器人进行静态吸附力稳定分析,建立了最小推力模型,并利用Matlab对推力与旋翼倾角之间的关系进行分析,结果表明在满足... 针对推力吸附式壁面清洗机器人悬停状态下的吸附稳定性问题,考虑机器人在垂直壁面工作时滑移、倾覆两种失稳现象,对机器人进行静态吸附力稳定分析,建立了最小推力模型,并利用Matlab对推力与旋翼倾角之间的关系进行分析,结果表明在满足防滑移失稳条件下必满足防倾覆失稳,并确定了最佳旋翼倾角为55°,旋翼应提供的最小推力为59 N。基于Fluent对所选黏附系统进行气动仿真计算,得到机器人理论吸附力值。最后搭建吸附力测试实验台进行实际吸附力测试验证仿真结果。结果表明,机器人所选黏附系统能保证机器人在垂直壁面上的稳定吸附,为机器人优化设计提供理论基础。 展开更多
