我们在对国内学界对The Road Not Taken一诗研究成果综述评介的基础上,精心梳理借鉴国外(主要是美国)学者的第一手研究资料,特别是诗人Frost与友人往来通信等,结合诗人诗歌创作理念,指出诗人的写作初衷不是抒发个人际遇,而的确是为怀念...我们在对国内学界对The Road Not Taken一诗研究成果综述评介的基础上,精心梳理借鉴国外(主要是美国)学者的第一手研究资料,特别是诗人Frost与友人往来通信等,结合诗人诗歌创作理念,指出诗人的写作初衷不是抒发个人际遇,而的确是为怀念好友而作。此诗并非一首励志诗,而是选择主题和冲突主题的复调变奏。借用诗人笃信的Emerson哲学,对于美国学界关于此诗主题"选择说"的六种代表观点筚路蓝缕,可见诗中的I并非诗人本人,而两条路也毫无好坏之分。对sign和difference意义的不确定性做了深入阐释,证明此诗是一个掩映在严肃外表和幽默内心之间的崇高的恶作剧。展开更多
