Besides, Daxi and Western Zhou cultural remains and Eastern Han brick-chambered graves were found in these cemeteries. The findings of the trial excavations and previous explorations suggest that the main part of the Leigudun tombs is Eastern Zhou burials and can be divided into two categories: earthen-mounded large-sized tombs and mound-less small ones. The former might have belonged to the rulers of the Zeng State. The later date from the late Warring States period and can be assigned to Zeng people surviving the destruction of the Zeng State.展开更多
