The characteristics of conventional similarity measure based on fuzzy number are discussed. With the help of distance measure, similarity measure is constructed explicitly. The designed distance-based similarity measure is applicable to general fuzzy membership functions including non-convex fuzzy membership function, whereas fuzzy number-based similarity measure has limitation to calculate the similarity of general fuzzy membership functions. The applicability of the proposed similarity measure to general fuzzy membership structures is proven by identifying the definition. To decide fault detection of flight system, the experimental data (pitching moment coefficients and lift coefficients) are transformed into fuzzy membership functions. Distance-based similarity measure is applied to the obtained fuzzy membership functions, and similarity computation and analysis are obtained with the fault and normal operation coefficients.展开更多

The aim of this PAE-KF algorithm was to prevent "deep contaminat...A performance assisted enhancement Kalman filtering algorithm(PAE-KF) for GPS/INS integration navigation in urban areas was presented in this work. The aim of this PAE-KF algorithm was to prevent "deep contamination" caused by error GPS data. This filtering algorithm effectively combined fault estimation of raw GPS data and nonholonomic constraint of vehicle. In fault estimation, a change point detection algorithm based on abrupt change model was proposed. Statistical tool was then used to infer the future bound of GPS data, which can detect faults in GPS raw data. If any kinds of faults were detected, dead reckoning mechanism begins to compute current position. Nonholonomic constraint condition of vehicle was used to estimate velocity of vehicle and change point detection was added into classic Kalman filtering structure. Experiment on vehicle shows that even when the GPS signals are unavailable for a period of time, this method can also output high accuracy data.展开更多

A fault-tolerant control method based on fuzzy neural networks was presented for nonlinear systems in this paper. The fault parameters were designed to detect the fault, adaptive updating method was introduced to estimate and track fault, and fuzzy neural networks were used to adjust the fault parameters and construct automated fault diagnosis. And the fault compeusation control force, which was given by fault estimation, was used to realize adaptive fault-tolerant control. This framework leaded to a simple structure, an accurate detection, and a high robusmess. The simulation results in induction motor show that it is still able to work well with high dynamic performance and control precision under the condition of motor parameters' variation fault and load torque disturbance.展开更多
