教学组长竞聘上岗在临床护理教育管理中的应用

[目的]为提高临床护理教学质量,我院护理部在全院实行教学组长竞聘上岗。[方法]制定出具体的竞聘条件和程序,对实行教学组长竞聘上岗前后两届护生和全院护士的综合素质进行考评。[结果]教学组长竞聘上岗后全院护士和护生综合素质明显提高。[结论]教学组长竞聘上岗提高了全院的护理质量,使全院护理教育管理体系更加规范化。

胎教存在的问题及改进方法

胎教对胎儿几乎没有直接的积极作用,相反,现在的胎教可能会对胎儿产生伤害。医生擅自使用未经科学验证和卫生部门批准的胎教方法进行临床试验,是有违医学论理的。本文论述了胎教存在的问题,胎教中对胎儿的不良影响,并提出了胎教对母体的心理学价值,同时对现在的胎教改进提出了新的观点。

小学低年级的语文教学,虽然属于启蒙教育,却是学生语文学习的关键时期。低年级的语文教学,不仅要在“玩”中学,更要在“理”中学。这里的“理”是指教学客观规律以及学生身心发展的客观规律。教学中,要讲教“理”、“字”理和语“理”,这样才能事半功倍,才能让课堂充满兴趣,让教师良好的语文素养潜移默化去影响学生,为学生的终身学习奠定基础。

Physiological signal acquisition system based on wireless sensor networks

Based on wireless sensor networks, a physiological signal acquisition system is proposed. The system is used in classroom education in order to understand the physiological changes in the students. In the system,the biological electrical signal related to student attention and emotion states can be measured by electrocardiography signals. The bioelectrical signal is digitalized at a 200 Hz sampling rate and is transmitted by the ZigBee protocol. Simultaneously, the Bluetooth technology is also embedded in the nodes so as to meet the high sampling rate and the high-bandwidth transmission. The system can implement the monitoring tasks for 30 students, and the experimental results of using the system in the classroom are proposed. Finally, the applications of wireless sensor networks used in education is also discussed.

Corpus-based Translation Class Design Study

This essay accesses to the approach of corpus applied to translation teaching, in order to improve the teaching methods, lay the foundation for the translation teaching reform, cultivate students research ability, and finally to establish a new type of translation teaching design-- ＂ability-development-oriented design＂. Also, this paper takes the word ＂good＂ for example, looking for the general rules to translate it and its common collocation, in order to design a translation class. Corpus-based learning and teaching provides us a new feasible way of translation class.

The necessary humanistic embodiment in the philosophy, theory and mode of College English teaching

The psychological teaching approach to basic foreign language teaching

During the stage teachers should learn about students＇ learning motives and the beginners＇ psychological state to rouse students＇ interest and mobilize their initiatives so that students can change from passive learning to active learning. The teaching effects will thereby be substantially enhanced.

Nurse trainees' perception of effective clinical instructor characteristics

Objectives:Clinical education and experience in the clinical environment play an important role in shaping the clinical experience.Effective clinical teaching improves the clinical practice of the nursing trainees which in turn improves the quality of patient care.It mandates for the clinical instructor with desired qualities,to have a positive influence in clinical education.This study examined nurse trainees'perceptions of clinical instructor characteristics.Methods:The current study was conducted in a multi-cultural tertiary setting using a cross-sectional descriptive design.Using convenience sampling,302 trainees were chosen as participants for the study,and there were 296 respondents.The data were collected from the participants using the Nursing Clinical Teacher Effectiveness Inventory(NCTEI)tool.Results:The findings of the study revealed that the clinical instructors have scored high in personality(scoring percentage=84.0%)and relatively low in teaching ability(scoring percentage=81.3%).Also,the overall perception was almost the same among all the trainees though there was a slight variation in their rating of each dimension.Conclusions:Nursing trainees indicated the instructors as having good personality and relatively low teaching ability.This mandates the clinical instructors in the clinical environment to empower themselves in this area of improvement.This helps the teaching institutions to consider all the domains of effective clinical instructor characteristics while recruitment and also organize programs giving emphasis on building and developing these characteristics to create effective instructors.

Effectiveness of a training program based on maker education for baccalaureate nursing students: A quasi-experimental study

Objectives:Maker education is a dominant force in education reform and is viewed as a revolutionary way to learn.As innovative pedagogy is continuously explored in the field of nursing,the emerging role of maker education must be examined.This research aims to build a nursing bachelor education program based on maker education and to evaluate the effectiveness of this program.Methods:Forty volunteer junior students majoring in nursing from a college were the subjects for this quasi-experiment.The training program for nursing students based on maker education was developed and implemented as an additional class for a period of 12 weeks.Before and after the experiment,two measures including the"Williams Creative Scale"and"Current Status Questionnaire of Nursing Students'Learning"were adopted for investigation,and corresponding statistical methods were used for analysis.The degree of satisfaction with this training program was investigated after the experiment.Results:The average scores of creativity,learning interest,cooperative learning skill,scientific research ability,and information attainment of the nursing students after the implementation of maker education all improved.The differences in the above points before and after the experiment were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Most of the students expressed satisfaction with this training program(72.5%were very satisfied,15.0%were partially satisfied,and 12.5%were not satisfied).Conclusion:Implementing the training program based on maker education enhanced student creativity,learning interest,cooperative learning skill,scientific research ability,and information attainment.Comprehensive nursing talents were also cultivated.Our data suggested the importance of improving this program,adopting the method,and pursuing research in nursing education.

On the mode of CRI English assisting college English teaching

The English News of CRI possesses many advantages such as abundance of information and being easily accessible for English learners within the mainland of China. Unfortunately, it has been ignored by most teachers of English and students. Based on the input hypothesis, affective filter hypothesis and schemata theory, this paper probes the mode of CRI English assisting English teaching in college.

A model to facilitate transformative learning in nursing education

Objective:Transformative learning is a learner-centered process of learning.Learners are actively engaged through critical reflection and discourse to question assumptions and expectations.The purpose of this article is to describe a model to facilitate transformative learning in nursing education.Methods:A qualitative,exploratory,descriptive and contextual design for theory generation was selected in this study to describe a model to facilitate transformative learning in nursing education.Concept analysis of transformative learning was done in the first stage of the main study using Walker and Avant's eight step approach to clarify the conceptual identification and meaning.The results of concept analysis guided data collection in the second stage.Eleven individual agenda semi-structured interviews were conducted with nurse educators to explore and describe their perceptions regarding how transformative learning can be facilitated in nursing education.Matrix building approach was used to analyse the collected data.The third stage constituted the conceptualisation of findings from the second stage using relevant literature within the elements of practice theory.The fourth stage focused on the description and evaluation of a model to facilitate transformative learning in nursing education.Findings:Four themes and nine sub-themes emerged and were conceptualised within the six elements of practice theory namely the context,agent,recipient,dynamic,process and procedure and outcome.Conclusion:The relation statements provided the basis for model description.Reliable method was used to describe and evaluate the model.The refinement of the model by experts in model development andqualitative research was made.

Community health nursing courses in baccalaureate nursing programsin China: A descriptive study based on website information

Objective:To survey current community health nursing(CHN)courses offered in baccalaureate nursing programs in the mainland of China from the perspective on information available on websites of colleges and universities.Methods:A descriptive research design was used.Data were collected from the official websites of colleges and universities providing baccalaureate nursing programs in the mainland of China.A checklist was applied to identify academic year,type of course,credit,and class hours for both theory and practice teaching of CHN courses including Community Nursing,Geriatric Nursing,Rehabilitation Nursing,and Health Education.The prescribed textbooks were consulted for teaching content.Results:Colleges(n?16)and universities(n?26)offering baccalaureate nursing programs with accessible online information for curriculum setting were recruited.The results showed that most of the accessible educational institutions(92.86%)have offered three to four investigated CHN courses.Community Nursing,Geriatric Nursing and Rehabilitation Nursing are generally offered to juniors,while Health Education is offered in half of these institutions in different academic years.Community Nursing is mainly offered as a required course with 2 credits,while Geriatric Nursing,Rehabilitation Nursing and Health Education are provided as elective courses with fewer credits.Around half of the institutions have practice hours for Community Nursing,Geriatric Nursing and Rehabilitation Nursing courses.However,the proportion of practice hours in the courses is generally less than 50%.The teaching content focuses on clinical care competencies instead of complementary competencies.Conclusion:It was revealed that CHN education in China is still in its infancy from website information of colleges and universities.CHN courses should be included in curriculum design,and teaching reforms and innovations should be taken to prepare nursing students to practice in primary health care and community settings.

远程教育的宏观理论

本文在简述远程教育和开放学习这两个核心概念的基础上，探讨国内外远程教育研究工作者在建立远程教育的普遍理论体系、远程教育的发展动力基础理论、远程教育的工业化理论、三代信息技术和三代远程教育的理论等宏观理论方面的探索及其部分成果。这些理论体系既反映了对远程教育的内在本质和发展规律的认识，又总结得出了远程教育与其所处社会环境相互关系的某些规律性认识，为构建未来比较完整的远程教育宏观理论提供了有益的借鉴。

Contextualizing physical literacy in the school environment: The challenges

The intent of this paper is to conceptualize physical literacy in the school environment within the United States educational system. Evolution of physical literacy from both a general education and disciplinary focus is overviewed. The challenges of transitioning from a physically educated to a physically literate person as the primary learning outcome of physical education may inhibit progress. Five prioritized recom- mendations are made to assist teachers in overcoming such barriers： （a） whole of school approach, （b） effective, differentiated pedagogy, （c） integration of technology for individualized tracking of progress, （d） supportive school climate, and （e） alignment of local efforts with national initiatives.

3种添加配方奶的喂养方式对促进母乳喂养的影响

目的:探讨3种添加配方奶的喂养方式对促进母乳喂养的影响。方法:将出生3天内的300例剖宫产术后有添加配方奶指征的新生儿随机分为3组,观察(100例)新生儿用母乳喂养促进器喂养,对照组1(100例)新生儿用奶瓶喂养,对照组2(100例)新生儿用小勺喂养;比较新生儿产生乳头错觉的情况、产妇母乳充盈的时间、发生产妇奶胀的情况。结果:观察组新生儿产生乳头错觉3例、产妇母乳充盈的时间术后42小时、产妇奶胀4例;对照组1新生儿产生乳头错觉32例、产妇母乳充盈的时间术后66小时,产妇奶胀38例;对照组2新生儿产生乳头错觉84例、产妇母乳充盈的时间术后72小时,产妇奶胀78例。结论:用母乳喂养促进器喂养明显优于用奶瓶喂养及小勺喂养,新生儿产生乳头错觉极低,母乳充盈的时间较短,产奶较快,产妇奶胀的发生率低(P<0.01),可增强产妇母乳喂养的信心,有效地促进母乳喂养的成功。

Can nurses remain relevant in a technologically advanced future?

Technological breakthroughs occur at an ever-increasing rate thereby revolutionizing human health and wellness care.Technological advancements have drastically changed the structure and organization of the healthcare industry.McKinsey Global Institute estimates that 800 million workers worldwide could be replaced by robots by the year 2030.There is already a robotic revolution happening in healthcare wherein robots have made tasks and procedures more efficient and safer.Locsin and Ito has addressed the threat to nursing practice with human nurses being replaced by humanoid robots.Routine nursing care dictated solely by prescribed procedures and accomplishment of nursing tasks would be best performed by machines.With the future practice of nursing in a technologically advanced future transcending the implementation of nursing actions to achieve predictable outcomes,how can human nurses remain relevant as practitioners of nursing?Nurses should be involved in deciding which aspects of their practice can be delegated to technology.Nurses should oversee the introduction of automated technology and artificial intelligence ensuring their practice to be more about the universal aspects of human care continuing under a novel system.Nursing education and nursing research will change to encompass a differentiated demand for professional nursing practice with,and not for,robots in healthcare.
