新课标视角下对中小学戏剧教育的新认识

2015年国务院办公厅印发《关于全面加强和改进学校美育工作的意见》;《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010—2020年)》提出要“加强美育,培养学生良好的审美情趣和人文素养”;到2022年教育部发布《义务教育艺术课程标准(2022版)》,明确了戏剧(含戏曲)课程开展的理念、目标等标准,戏剧课程正式进入教育体系。该文件明确阐述了中小学戏剧教育应当秉持的教学理念、设计的教学目标、采取的教学方式等戏剧教育发展过程中存在争论的问题,为中小学戏剧教育的发展提供了新方向。

Probe in college English teaching in Grade-C class

College English is not only an essential curriculum of language, but also is an extremely important curriculum of cultural in college education. As a result of various factors, there are individual differences in college students＇ English study. Therefore, to gradually improve all the students＇ English, graded teaching becomes the best choice. In this thesis, graded teaching will be studied from several respects. And I hope it can give some slight help to some of college teachers.

A model to facilitate transformative learning in nursing education

Objective:Transformative learning is a learner-centered process of learning.Learners are actively engaged through critical reflection and discourse to question assumptions and expectations.The purpose of this article is to describe a model to facilitate transformative learning in nursing education.Methods:A qualitative,exploratory,descriptive and contextual design for theory generation was selected in this study to describe a model to facilitate transformative learning in nursing education.Concept analysis of transformative learning was done in the first stage of the main study using Walker and Avant's eight step approach to clarify the conceptual identification and meaning.The results of concept analysis guided data collection in the second stage.Eleven individual agenda semi-structured interviews were conducted with nurse educators to explore and describe their perceptions regarding how transformative learning can be facilitated in nursing education.Matrix building approach was used to analyse the collected data.The third stage constituted the conceptualisation of findings from the second stage using relevant literature within the elements of practice theory.The fourth stage focused on the description and evaluation of a model to facilitate transformative learning in nursing education.Findings:Four themes and nine sub-themes emerged and were conceptualised within the six elements of practice theory namely the context,agent,recipient,dynamic,process and procedure and outcome.Conclusion:The relation statements provided the basis for model description.Reliable method was used to describe and evaluate the model.The refinement of the model by experts in model development andqualitative research was made.

On Harmonious Teaching and University English Intensive Reading Teaching in China

This paper mainly introduces harmonious teaching and provides some advice and suggestions based on the characteristics of university English intensive reading in China by using literature analysis. It also states the author＇s view on harmonious teaching theory.

A Survey on Students＇ Group Discussion in Conversation Class

This article makes an investigation of 114 English majors＇ level of a particular communicative performance and the general ability to perform in small-group conversations in their conversation class, and thereafter explores the reasons for their current level with the aid of questionnaire based on a rating scale, together with observation and interviews. Some countermeasures are provided to call for teachers＇ attention in their teaching practice.

Communicative, Learner-centered Approach in EMP

This paper discusses communicative approaches in order to help the teacher effect an orderly transition from general English teaching to English for specific purposes. Language, considered as a tool of communication, no longer appears as a separate subject but as an aspect of other subjects. What is needed, therefore, is a different orientation to college English teaching and to find out an approach, which departs from what is generally taken. The approach aims at developing skills and ability to use language in the performance of different communicative acts. It is concluded that language teaching is essentially skill developing, variety is the spice of life and practice makes perfect.

An Empirical Study of the Washback of CET-4 Writing

This article is an empirical study on the washback of the writing section （i.e. writing subtest as in this paper） of College English Test Band Four （CET-4） on ELT in Chinese colleges and universities so as to promote the positive effects and diminish the negative ones. The study collected data from 181 college English learners, nine college English teachers and two CET-4 raters through interview, observation and documentary analysis. Findings indicate that CET-4 writing subtest produces more negative impacts than positive ones. Moreover, the findings also indicate that the washback of CET-4 writing is weakened by other sections of the test.

Perceptual Models of Art students and Its Enlightenment on English Teaching

Art students, as a whole, have a variety of learning style of sensory receivers. The Variety of learning styles requires the variety of teaching strategies. The analysis of learners＇ learning styles is one of the factors on which the design of learning strategies should be based. Matching teaching strategies and mismatching strategies are chosen intentionally according to the teaching contents, the teaching goals, and the learner＇s learning styles. Matching teaching strategies can reach the best result of teaching and learning. On the contrary, mismatching strategies can remedy the disadvantages caused by learning styles and be helpful for the development of learning styles.

On Variables Affecting L1 Transfer in L2 Acquisition

This paper focuses on variables affecting L1 transfer in L2 acquisition, which, according to the author, are categorized into three groups： learner-related variables, language-based variables and socio-linguistic variables, and each of them is clarified in more details.

The Impact of Teacher Involved Peer Feedback in the ESL Writing Class

Among the many possible ways to assessing writing by giving feedbacks, the peer evaluation method is viewed as a relatively effective one for students. Traditional one-way teacher feedback with which the teachers usually make great efforts to mark out all errors had been proved to be unscientific. In this article, based on the specific situation in two English major classes in Wenhua Institute attached to HUST, a series of training and experiments were designed with the aim of proving the effect of peer evaluation in writing class. It is emphasized that language teachers should recognize the practical value of peer evaluation, and try to help students be involved in making peer responses in the writing process actively, so that students can get meaningful experience from evaluating their peers＇ writing, which, in turn, will enhance their own ability to produce more satisfactory essays.

How to Apply Humanistic Psychology to Establish an Effective Emotional Class Climate in China

To enhance students＇ all-around development and personal potential is the main purpose that teachers want to obtain in their teachings. The author believes that it can be achieved only in a relaxed and safe class atmosphere. The article introduces the humanistic psychology and illustrates how to apply humanistic psychology to the foreign language class and establish an effective emotional class climate in China.

Features of Culinary English

Different from literary English which tends to give a subjective description, culinary English tends to give an objective one. In addition, culinary English has other unique features as shown in this paper.

Work-related Stress for Female English Teachers： School of Foreign Languages （SFL）, Xi＇an Jiaotong University （XJTU）

This paper focuses on the female English teachers＇ work-related stress in the School of Foreign Languages, Xi＇an Jiaotong University. A survey produced some results that are worth studying. The teachers in this special group are keeping their heavy-burdened teaching job by finding ways to escape their work-related stress and at the same time trying to save face. Answers to the questionnaire have proved that Chinese cultural characteristics have been deeply rooted in the SFL teaching staff even though they have accepted and learned western culture over a period of many years.

Language Transfer in Chinese EFL Writing

Language transfer has been a key issue in applied linguistics, second language acquisition, and language teaching for at least a century. Within the last few decades, however, its importance has been reassessed several times. The paper focuses on the phenomena of language transfer in Chinese EFL writing, expecting to provide implications for Chinese English learners and teachers.

Models for Teaching Culture in Computer-Assisted Language Learning

CALL （computer-assisted language learning） has tremendously transformed the teaching of language, with its wide application in many aspects of language teaching. However, how to integrate CALL into the teaching of culture is still rarely discussed. The purpose of the paper is to explore feasible models for teaching culture in CALL and their effects on students＇ acquisition process. Based on two fundamental pedagogical approaches （participatory pedagogy and multiliteracies pedagogy） for teaching culture, this paper proposes three pedagogical models （problem-posing model, web-quest model, and computer-supported collaborative learning model） for teaching culture in CALL. In the end, this paper illustrates a combination of the three models in real CALL setting by a cultural teaching case. A questionnaire survey and interviews are conducted to reflect on students＇ feedback, which gives an insight into possible adjustments in teaching models and the paper also proposes future possibilities in applying these models into teaching culture

Study of English Teaching Model of Autonomous Leaming

Autonomous learning is a modem learning way that corresponds with the traditional acceptance learning. Students as the main body of learning by students＇ independent analysis, exploration, practice,questioning, create other methods to achieve the learning objectives. This paper analyzed the characteristic of self-learning and the theoretical basis of the implementation of autonomous learning during English teaching process focused on the College English independent study pattern.

On Improving Students＇ Spoken English in Classes

With the increasing of communicating with the world, spoken English for non-English majors is becoming more and more important. So although therc＇re problems existing in English classes for teachers to cope with, i think it＇s necessary and possible to improve our students＇ speaking ability if only we do spare our efforts and make the most of the classes. Here in this article, I try to discuss the necessity and advantages of improving students＇ speaking ability, and also suggest approaches of getting our students to start talking, improving their spoken English, and discuss some problems as well.

Blended Learning in a Foreign Language Teaching

Foreign language classes using blended learning take place in a classroom and on an educational platform （i.e., Moodle）. Working this way is meant to help in the process of learning a language and not to replace the traditional method. Using the platform allows preparation of fully distant learning courses as well as preparing areas that allow providing the learners with materials that are complementary to the main course （face-to-face）. Virtual Learning Environment （VLE） is nowadays a very popular tool in teaching not only English （although it is the most popular language in Poland）, but other foreign languages such as Russian or German. This paper focuses on some methodological aspects of preparing： （1） distant learning language courses that are complementary to the whole English language course and （2） complementary areas （consultations） in Russian and German. In both cases the author shows components that are essential for the success of the teaching process

IPA Cardinal Vowels and the English Pronunciation Teaching in China

In pronunciation teaching, learners may have difficulty when there is a ＂gap＂ in the phonemic system between L1 （the first or native language） and L2 （the second or foreign language）. In such a case, they tend to use their native language sounds in speaking the foreign language. Since some Chinese and English vowel sounds are easy to be confused, applying IPA cardinal vowels in the teaching of English pronunciation will help Chinese learners identify the difference between an English vowel sound and a Chinese vowel sound and thus enables them to make intelligible English speech sounds.

The Instructional Media for Different Levels in the Philippine Educational System

In the Philippines, the K＋I2 system is newly introduced and the readiness for its implementation undoubtedly made the teaching community confused and confounded. Thus, extra efforts are being done to upgrade and update all instructional materials. Even it＂ the Department of Education are preparing the faculty members through trainings, seminars and providing them with syllabus accompanying the new curriculum, still the confidence for the coming teaching assignments for the additional two years in the system is vet3.＇ Iow~ The faculty members are now strategizing teaching methodology for the subjects they have to handle through upgrading not only their knowledge but also the teaching materials they are to use in their classroom. With the changing environment, the learning style of students also advances. Children are now exposed to various modern gadgets, thus, they learn more advanced knowledge about their environment. These modern medium must be an advantage to the teaching profession. Teachers must know how and what the children learn through these medium and create some learning materials that will augment this knowledge in schools. This study is a partial analysis of the learning style of students in different levels of the educational system and the knowledge they acquire through different modern medium and test the gap between this and the knowledge they must learn in school. Also, this study will come up with what medium can be used as instructional medium that will aid the faculty members in their teaching courses or subjects in school.
