义务教育统编语文教科书收词分析——基于与《义务教育常用词表(草案)》的比较

《义务教育常用词表(草案)》首次为义务教育阶段现代汉语词汇教学提供了量化依据,对中小学语文教学具有权威指导意义。对义务教育统编语文教科书现代汉语词汇情况进行统计,并与《义务教育常用词表(草案)》进行比较,可以发现,义务教育统... 《义务教育常用词表(草案)》首次为义务教育阶段现代汉语词汇教学提供了量化依据,对中小学语文教学具有权威指导意义。对义务教育统编语文教科书现代汉语词汇情况进行统计,并与《义务教育常用词表(草案)》进行比较,可以发现,义务教育统编语文教科书中名词占绝对优势,而《义务教育常用词表(草案)》中谓词更占优势;《义务教育常用词表(草案)》中有近27%的词语没有在教科书中出现,主要是三级词和四级词。上述统计比较,能够为义务教育统编语文教科书的修订、词汇教学提供针对性的建议:增加教科书中的熟语数量,提高第三、四学段文本的典雅度,区分名词、谓词、熟语三者的教学价值,运用义类系统开展词汇集中式教学。 展开更多

Based on some research results in cognitive psychology, it analyses the important role that chunks play in language acquisition and production and thus provides a cognitive foundation for implementing the chunk approach in English teaching. It is noticeable that the academic papers written by Chinese English learners are lacking in academic features largely due to their poor ability to use nominalization.Therefore,the instruction of nominalization in an academic English writing course is badly needed.The author conducted onesemester-long instruction of nominalization to 90 non-English majors under the guidance of the production-oriented approach(POA).This research demonstrated how to apply POA,specifically,the enabling procedure to the teaching of nominalization.By triangulating the data of students’interviews,learning journals and written output,and the data of 4 teachers’class observations and interviews,this study found that the accurate application of the three criteria of effective enabling contributed to the improvement of the quantity and quality of nominalization in academic writing. 展开更多

The experiments show that the more closely connected b... Vocabulary acquisition is a foundation of second language acquisition. How to memorize vocabulary effectively is a troubling issue both for learners and teachers. The experiments show that the more closely connected between pair words, the higher rate of recurrence with correctness. Focusing on the connection of morphemes in Chinese vocabulary teaching can accelerate students' memories of new words. The author believes morpheme teaching is also evidently effective for those Chinese learners using Chinese characters in Japan. However, after examining the order of words with same morphemes in 14 elementary Chinese textbooks, the authors found that current textbooks have not provided a list of words with same morpheme thus imposing learners' memory burden due to learning repetitive words. Meanwhile, this paper proposes "radial networks" among morphemes with same words, also promotes the expansion of vocabulary by morpheme association. 展开更多

Based on empirical research and qualitative analysis, this paper aims to explore the effects of interlingual strategies on L2 vocabulary teaching. The results show that, during L2 vocabulary teaching process, the proper application of interlingual strategies can effectively facilitate the memorization of new words, and the bilingual method (both English explanation and Chinese translation) is welcomed by most subjects. Therefore, using L1 as a means of semantization or as a tool for checking and validating L2 learners' understanding of word meaning should not be completely rejected, especially for adult Chinese EFL learners. 展开更多

Languages embody a lot of words that are considered as synonyms, and people just take it for granted that such words are identical in meaning without any discrimination. However, a corpus-based approach to the study of the collocational behavior of the two frequently-used pairs of synonyms (selection and option, ill and sick) reveals significant discrepancies in the use of these two pairs of synonyms by Chinese English learners and native speakers. According to the analysis, the major problems lie in the current ways of vocabulary teaching and learning. This paper aims to highlight the important role of the corpus-based collocational research in English vocabulary teaching and learning. In the end, some suggestions concerning vocabulary teaching and leaming are put forward on the basis of corpus-based research. 展开更多

However, vocabulary development in the depth is not so reinforced, including the introduction of the social and cultural background of the words, use in the context, etc. Therefore, many learners can't avoid encountering the difficulty to bridge the gap between vocabulary learning and vocabulary application. This paper, which is based on the theory of language cognition, holds that vocabulary teaching and learning in the depth is of equal importance in language education.
