The parabolic Radon transform has been widely used in multiple attenuation. To further improve the accuracy and efficiency of the Radon transform, we developed the 2- fdomain high-resolution Radon transform based on the fast and modified parabolic Radon transform presented by Abbad. The introduction of a new variable 2 makes the transform operator frequency-independent. Thus, we need to calculate the transform operator and its inverse operator only once, which greatly improves the computational efficiency. Besides, because the primaries and multiples are distributed on straight lines with different slopes in the 2-fdomain, we can easily choose the filtering operator to suppress the multiples. At the same time, the proposed method offers the advantage of high-resolution Radon transform, which can greatly improve the precision of attenuating the multiples. Numerical experiments suggest that the multiples are well suppressed and the amplitude versus offset characteristics of the primaries are well maintained. Real data processing results further verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the method. 展开更多

The present article is concerned with the implementation of a recent semi-analytical method referred to as fractional reduced differential transform method (FRDTM) for computation of approximate solution of time-fractional gas dynamics equation (TFGDE) arising in shock fronts. In this approach, the fractional derivative is described in the Caputo sense. Four numeric experiments have been carried out to confirm the validity and the efficiency of the method. It is found that the exact or a closed approximate analytical solution of a fractional nonlinear differential equations arising in allied science and engineering can be obtained easily. Moreover, due to its small size of calculation contrary to the other analytical approaches while dealing with a complex and tedious physical problems arising in various branches of natural sciences and engineering, it is very easy to implement. 展开更多

We report two models of the lateral displacement of acoustic-wave scattering on a fluid-solid interface that reveal an acoustic analog of the Goos-Hainchen effect in optics. This acoustic analog is called the acoustic Goos-Hainchen effect. Using newly proposed models, we made numerical calculations for the system ofa water-Perspex interface. Specifically, in the post-critical-angle region, we observed a lateral displacement (and transition time) of the reflected P-wave with respect to the incident P-wave. The first arrival of the acoustic signal from the interface is found to be a reflected P-wave rather than the sliding-refraction P-wave usually described in traditional acoustic-logging sliding P-wave theory. For both proposed models, the effective propagation speed of the reflected P-wave along the interface depends on not only the physical properties of the interracial media but also the incident angle. These observations are intriguing and warrant further investigation. 展开更多

In order to investigate the mechanism of the behaviors of the whole system, bifurcation sets of the subsystems are derived and the Poincar6 map of the switched system is defined by suitable local sections and local maps. Under certain parameter conditions, symmetric periodic oscillations may be observed. With the variation of parameter, the symmetry-breaking bifurcation mecha- nisms of the symmetric periodic oscillations can be understood by calculating the associated maximal Lyapunov exponent and Floquet multiplies. Meanwhile, the parameter values of the related local bifurcations, such as saddle-node, pitchfork and peri- od-doubling bifurcations are calculated based on the Floquet multiplies. 展开更多

Accurate calculation of circulating current is one of the key problems for stator transposition bars in the design of turbo-generators. Aimed at limitation that analytical algorithm of circulating current could not reflect the local electromagnetic field distribution and difficulty that overlaps easily exist in solid modeling process of stator transposition bars, a simplified physical model of transposition bars is established. A three-dimensional(3-D) numerical method for circulating current in stator transposition bars of large water-cooled turbo-generators is investigated, which is combined with field-circuit coupling method. Taking stator bars less than 540° transposition with void model of a 600-MW water-cooled turbo-generator as the research object, the magnetic flux density distribution, current density distribution and circulating current distribution of transposition strands are obtained by numerical calculation. Compared with calculation results of the improved analytical algorithm, the correctness of the numerical calculation for circulating current is demonstrated, the calculation value difference for the maximum current of strands is obtained. The numerical calculation for circulating current will provide an appropriate basis for the reasonable calculation of local overheating of stator transposition bars and the design of safety margin for turbo-generators. 展开更多
