[ Method ] Nosema bombycis was used to feed wild type and mutant drosophila, and the morphological observation of Nosema bombycis in drosophila body fluid was also analyzed by calcofluor white M2R fluorescent staining. [ Result] Nosema bombycis could infect drosophila, and the number of Nosema bombycis in the infected mutant drosophila was higher than that in wild type drosophila. [ Conclusion ] Nosema bombycis can infect drosophila, which provides primary reference for studies on the infectivity of Nosema bombycis to other hosts and also lays a foundation for further study on the infection mechanism of Nosema bombycis.展开更多

Experiments on the running process were made at different speeds for healthy young men. The influence of running speed on knee Joint motion is analyzed quantitatively and a mathematical model of the knee angle is established with speed as the independent variable. Results show that, at the moment of the heel contacting with theground, with the increase of speed, the more, and the calf and thigh are closer to the same line. In the middle stage of a gait cycle, the thigh stretches back, and then the calf and thigh are close to collineation. At that moment, the stretch of the posterior cruciate ligament is the largest, and the slower the speed, the more obvious the collineation. The maximal joint angle of the calf relative to the thigh appears in the later stage, and themaximal joint angle increases with the increase of the velocity. With the increase of the running speed, the phase of the cure of knee angle moves forward. The results can be used in the field of rehabilitation robotics and humanoid robot.展开更多

They are widely applied to economics, biomedicine, epidemiology, and so on. There are extensive studies on them in the latest three decade years. In this paper, many of models related to varying-coefficient models are gathered up. All kinds of the estimation procedures and theory of hypothesis test on the varying-coefficients model are summarized. Prom my opinion, some aspects waiting to study are proposed.展开更多

Three kinds of hyphae are considered in the model: actively growing hyphae, non-growing hyphae and deactivated hyphae. Furthermore, actively growing hyphae consist of three morphological compartments: apical compartment which gives rise to hyphal tip extension; subapical compartment which is related to hyphal branching; and hyphal compartment which is only responsible for secondary metabolite formation. The kinetics of mycelial growth mechanism is summarized and applied in modeling lovastatin fermentation. A Michaelis-Menten kinetic model with substrate inhibition is proposed for product formation. As expected, the model simulations fit well with experimental data obtained either from a laboratory scale 10L fer-menter or from a pilot-plant scale fermenter.展开更多

LaCl3 was added into media at levels of 0, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 500 mg L-1 in the pure culture experiment, and into soil samples in porcelain pots before rice growing at levels of 0, 6, 30, 150, 300, 600 and 900 mg kg-1 dry soil in the pot culture experiment. The populations of the three soil microbes in the pure culture experiment decreased with the addition level of La, indicating that La was toxic to the soil microbes in pure culture, and the sensitivity of the 3 major microbial types to La was in a decreasing order of actinomyces > bacteria > fungus. In the pot experiment, La had slightly stimulative effect on soil bacteria and actinomyces when applied at low concentrations while had inhibitory effect on soil bacteria, actinomyces and fungus at high concentrations. When the concentration of La was low, soil azotobacter was stimulated slightly while soil nitrifier was stimulated strongly and the maximum increase was up to 50%. When the concentration of La was high, both soil azotobacter and nitrifier were inhibited, and the inhibition of La to the nitrifier increased with La concentration. La added at all the levels had stimulative effect on soil inorganic and organic phosphobatteria. Among the 4 physiological groups, soil nitrifier was most sensitive to La, so , it might be reasonable to assume that soil nitrifier was a sensitive indicator for evaluating the biological and environmental effects of rare earths.展开更多
