The method can extract optimized gridding parameters based...This paper presents a reasonable gridding-parameters extraction method for setting the optimal interpolation nodes in the gridding of scattered observed data. The method can extract optimized gridding parameters based on the distribution of features in raw data. Modeling analysis proves that distortion caused by gridding can be greatly reduced when using such parameters. We also present some improved technical measures that use human- machine interaction and multi-thread parallel technology to solve inadequacies in traditional gridding software. On the basis of these methods, we have developed software that can be used to grid scattered data using a graphic interface. Finally, a comparison of different gridding parameters on field magnetic data from Ji Lin Province, North China demonstrates the superiority of the proposed method in eliminating the distortions and enhancing gridding efficiency.展开更多

Firstly the fatigue damage limit-state function is established based on S-N curves and Miner's rule,and the probability distribution characteristics of the coefficients in the function are discussed in detail. The uncertainties in fatigue loading effects are mainly studied based on long-term monitoring data. In the traditional studies,only the uncertainty of equivalent stress range is considered in fatigue reliability assessment. However,stress cycle number is also treated as a random variable in this paper because we know traffic flow every day differs in a thousand ways. Then the optimization method is employed to calculate the fatigue reliability. After studying the changing law of the reliability indices with time and the effect of the randomness of stress cycle number on reliability,the effect of the traffic growth on the reliability is studied. This study shows that the uncertainty in the fatigue life of the welded details can be well studied based on structural health monitoring,so it is necessary to carry out long-term strain monitoring of the welded details for accurate fatigue reliability assessment during the whole service period.展开更多

Based on the geometric charac...The trimmed mean is one of the most common estimators of location for symmetrical distributions, whose effect depends on whether the trim rate matches the proportion of contaminated data. Based on the geometric characteristics of the curve of the trimmed variance function, the authors propose two kinds of adaptive trimmed mean algorithms. The accuracy of the estimators is compared with that of other often-used estimates, such as sample mean, trimmed mean, trimean, and median, by means of simulation method. The results show that the accuracy of the adaptive derivative optimization trimmed mean method is close to the optimum performance in case of medium contamination (the contamination rate is less than 50%). Under high contamination situation (the contamination rate equals 8070), the performance of the estimates is comparable to that of the median and is superior to other counterparts.展开更多
