The kernel techniques of CifNet system include: 1, establishing a high efficient and low cost network multi-well data management architecture based on the General Logging Curve Theory and the Cif data format; 2, implementing efficient visit and transmission of multi-well data in C/S local network based on TCP/IP protocol; 3,ensuring the safety of multi-well data in store, visit and application based on Unix operating system security. By using CifNet system, the researcher in office or at home can visit curves of any borehole in any working area of any oilfield. The application foreground of CifNet system is also commented.展开更多

An analysis of this case demonstrates how the design criteria could improve the rate of consumption in IT centers, which is currently the second most contaminating industry on the planet, and is the responsible for 2% of CO2 emissions, surpassed only by the aeronautical industry. The present and future situation of IT center energy consumption and associated environmental effects is analyzed, and also looks at how state-of-the-art technology, correctly implemented, could ensure significant rationalization of data processing center energy consumption. The article will examine optimization techniques, specific problems and case studies.展开更多

There have been a number of publications reporting EM anomalies associated with earthquakes. With increasing applications and research of artificial-source extremely low frequency EM and satellite EM technologies in earthquake studies, the amount of observed data from the alternating EM method increases rapidly and exponentially, so it is imperative to develop suitable and effective methods for processing and analyzing the influx of big data. This paper presents research on the self-adaptive filter and wavelet techniques and their applications to analyzing EM data obtained from ground measurements and satellite observations, respectively. Analysis results show that the self-adaptive filter method can identify both natural- and artificial-source EM signals, and enhance the ratio between signal and noise of EM field spectra, apparent resistivity, and others. The wavelet analysis is capable of detecting possible correlation between EM anomalies and seismic events. These techniques are effective in processing and analyzing massive data obtained from EM observations.展开更多

The device mainly includes a dual-channel non-dispersive infrared sensor(integrated with an infrared light source, light path and pyroelectric detector), a driving circuit of the sensor, an ARM11 embedded Win CE system, and a Lab VIEW-based data-processing platform. Experiments were carried out with prepared CH_4 samples to investigate the sensing performance. The relative detection error is less than 9.14% within the measuring range of 0—7×10^(-2). For a CH_4 sample with concentration of 0(i.e., pure nitrogen), the measured concentration fluctuation range is-1.2×10^(-5)—+2×10^(-5). An Allan deviation analysis on the gas sample with concentration of 0 indicates that the 1σ limit of detection(LoD) of the device is 4.8×10^(-6) with an average time of 1 s. Experiments were performed on three CH_4 samples with different concentrations to test the response time, which is validated to be less than 20 s. Due to the small size of the ARM11 embedded system and the powerful data processing capability of the Lab VIEW platform, the proposed portable and miniaturized CH_4 sensor shows a good application prospect in mining operations and some other industrial fields.展开更多
