Two basic platforms are discussed: A uniform transmission network and a uniform data warehouse. An actual,ControlNet based,transmission network plat-form suitable for the Jining No.3 coal mine is presented. This network is an information superhighway intended to inte-grate all existing and new automation subsystems. Its standard interface can be used with future subsystems. The net-work,data structure and management decision-making all employ this uniform hardware and software. This effectively avoids the problems of system and information islands seen in traditional mine-automation systems. The construction of the network provides a stable foundation for digital communication in the Jining No.3 coal mine.展开更多

In this paper, a new hybrid algorithm based on exploration power of a new improvement self-adaptive strategy for controlling parameters in DE (differential evolution) algorithm and exploitation capability of Nelder-...In this paper, a new hybrid algorithm based on exploration power of a new improvement self-adaptive strategy for controlling parameters in DE (differential evolution) algorithm and exploitation capability of Nelder-Mead simplex method is presented (HISADE-NMS). The DE has been used in many practical cases and has demonstrated good convergence properties. It has only a few control parameters as number of particles (NP), scaling factor (F) and crossover control (CR), which are kept fixed throughout the entire evolutionary process. However, these control parameters are very sensitive to the setting of the control parameters based on their experiments. The value of control parameters depends on the characteristics of each objective function, therefore, we have to tune their value in each problem that mean it will take too long time to perform. In the new manner, we present a new version of the DE algorithm for obtaining self-adaptive control parameter settings. Some modifications are imposed on DE to improve its capability and efficiency while being hybridized with Nelder-Mead simplex method. To valid the robustness of new hybrid algorithm, we apply it to solve some examples of structural optimization constraints.展开更多

First, the outhors optimized blasting parameters on 2.2 m scheme, and did both-sides comparative experiment of the surrounding holes after the blasting success. The results show that the application of slotting tube obtains four more cut contours than the case without it. Finally we did full-section control and non-control blasting comparative experiment, the results show that the rates of half-hole marks and the non-smooth grades of the cut contours can reach 95%, hole spacing is expanded to larger than 550 mm, and 550 mm is the best under the K2 limestone conditions.展开更多

The contribution of this paper is the development of a digital control-based switching power supply. In the developed system, the generation method of the optimal voltage reference to eliminate the limit cycle oscillation of output voltage due to the AD/DA resolution is proposed. In the proposed method, the variation of the input power source voltage can be also compensated. The effectiveness of the proposed optimal reference generation method is experimentally verified.展开更多

Meanwhi...The aim of this work is to evaluate the feasibility of applying the technology of oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) control on the municipal wastewater treatment system for nitrogen and phosphorus removal. Meanwhile the relation between the optimal ORP ( ORPopt ) and influent C/N ratio was evaluated, in which the influent chemical oxygen demand ( COD ) concentration was stabilized at (290 ± 10 ) mg/L, the influent total phosphorus (TP) concentration was stabilized at (7.0 ± 0.5 ) mg/L. The results indicated that: (1) the ORP in the second anoxic zone had effect on nitrogen and phosphorus removal capability, and the average percentages of phosphorus uptake in ANO2 zone ( ηa ) increased with increasing ORP, i. e. , increasing from 12. 0% at - 143 mV to 22.0%,30.0%,37.0%, and45.0% at -123, -111, -105 and -95 mV, respectively; (2) the ORPopt as function of influent C/N ratio could be calculated by the equation: y ffi 252. 73e〈 -x/3.39) _ 131.01 ; the maximum percentage of phosphorus uptake in ANO2 as function of the ORPopt could be calculated by the equation: y ffi -0.49e(x/15.58) + 1. 51. The ORPopt was the important process control parameter that must be optimized for operation of enhanced biological phosphorus removal ( EBPR ) system. This article reports the development of small sized, low cost, prototype CNC system, based on a modular system with the capability of communication through USB. The report includes the basics of the electronic devices developed to run a CNC machine and proposes, as well, software developed in LabVIEW to control and establish the communication between the machine and the computer. The main objective of this work is the development of a machine which allows future researches on the process performance, on educational purposes, the demonstration of the parts involved on the CNC machine.展开更多
