The NT-MT combined method makes use of both NT and MT tests and this combination helps to overcome the defects in the respective methods. It also avoids any artificial manipulation and eliminates the huge combinatorial problem that is created in the combined method based on the nodal test in the case of more than one gross error for a large process system. Serial compensation strategy is also used to avoid the decrease of the coefficient matrix rank during the computation of the proposed method. Simulation results show that the proposed method is very effective and possesses good performance.展开更多

The most common approach (the convection-dispersion equation) considers an average convection flow rate and Fickian-like dispersion. Here,we propose a solute transport model in porous media of continuously expanding scale, according to the combinatorics principle. The model supposed actual porous media as a combinative body of many basic segments. First, we studied the solute transport process in each basic segment body, and then deduced the distribution of pore velocity in each basic segment body by difference approximation, finally assembled the solute transport process of each basic segment body into one of the combinative body. The simulation result coincided with the solute transport process observed in test. The model provides useful insight into the solute transport process of the non-Fickian dispersion in continuously expanding scale.展开更多

The temperature contour or the pressure contour and velocity contour plots with superimposed velocity vectors on meridian, transverse and unfolded concentric hexagonal slices are presented to obtain a full angular view. For the six helix baffled heat exchangers, the different patterns of the single vortex secondary flow and the shortcut leakage flow were depicted as well as the heat transfer properties were compared. The results show that the optimum scheme among the six configurations is a circumferential overlap trisection helix baffled heat exchanger with a baffle incline angle of 20°(20°TCO) scheme with an anti-shortcut baffle structure, which exhibits the second highest pressure dropΔpo, the highest overall heat transfer coefficient K, shell-side heat transfer coefficient hoand shell-side average comprehensive index ho/Δpo.展开更多

Generalized p-values are proposed based on fiducial method for testing the two hypotheses at the presence of nonparametric nuisance parameter. Note that the nonparametric component can be approximated by a linear combination of some known functions, thus, the partially linear model can be approximated by a linear model. Thereby, generalized p-values for a linear model are studied first, and then the results are extended to the situation of partially linear model. Small sample frequency properties are analyzed theoretically. Meanwhile, simulations are conducted to assess the finite sample performance of the tests based on the proposed p-values.展开更多

The expressions for the mean number ofLO phonons and the effective mass of the bipolaron are derived. Numerical results show that the mean number of LO phonons of the bipolaron decreases with increasing the temperature and the relative distance r between two electrons, but increases with increasing the electron-phonon coupling strength a The effective mass of the bipolaron M* increases rapidly with increasing the relative distance r between two electrons when r is smaller, and it reaches a maximum at r ≈ 4.05rp, while after that, 34* decreases slowly with increasing r. The effective mass of the bipolaron M' decreases with increasing the temperature. The electron-phonon coupling strength a markedly influences the changes of mean number of LO phonons and the effective mass M* with the relative distance r and the temperature parameter y.展开更多
