長沙走馬樓吴簡考釋三則——“懸逋”、“文入”、“種領簿”

一、'懸逋'新近出版的《長沙走馬樓三國吴簡·竹簡肆》中,~①有兩枚簡涉及'懸連'一詞。現録釋文如下:1.臨湘謹列黄龍元二三年懸連■錢准斛升(肆·1286)2.懸連不見嘉禾元年八月廿九日舉言(肆·1288)'懸連'一詞見於傳世文獻,《後漢書·章帝紀》'詔以上林池籞田賦與貧人',李賢注引《前書音義》:'折竹以繩懸連之,使人不得往來。

论老舍国民性改造的价值取向

在老舍的文本世界中,“理想市民形象”承载了他国民性改造的核心价值观念。这种价值特征在发展的过程中,遭遇了根源于“民族自尊”的“文化侵略”的想象,从而形成了认同西方文化立场与尊重传统文化优质因素之间难以调和的矛盾状态。这种矛盾不仅颠覆了左翼关于“现代革命”的理论想象,而且使得老舍撤回传统文化内部寻找国民性更新资源。

佐藤春夫与田汉的情感错位——有关中日文人交往的个案考察

日本近现代文人之中,像佐藤春夫这样从对中国古代经典文化的"文学关怀"发展到对同时代中国政治表示出特别关注、并创作出大量相关作品的文学家实属罕见。佐藤春夫除了对我国经典汉学表示出浓厚的兴趣之外,跟我国五四新文学家郁达夫、田汉、郭沫若、徐志摩、周作人、甚至包括文坛巨擘鲁迅等人都有过不同程度的关系。过去国内的研究由于资料匮乏,其实大多只涉及到郁达夫,而其他皆有待史料的发掘或考证。本文旨在澄清和揭示佐藤春夫与我国现代戏剧运动的奠基人、卓越的剧坛领袖和国歌歌词作者田汉之间的关系。

姚文田古音学研究

姚文田的《古音谐》分古韵为八类二十六部,将《广韵》韵目平上去三声分为十七部、入声分为九部。姚氏古音学的贡献在于人声九部独立以及匊(觉)部独立;其不足在于物部没有独立、缉盍不分以及入声卩(质)部与真部相配等等。

Sensitivity of Chinese Industrial Wastewater Discharge Reduction to Direct Input Coefficients in an Input-output Context

Industrial wastewater discharge in China is increasing with the country′s economic development and it is worthy of concern. The discharge is primarily relevant to the direct discharge coefficient of each sector of the economy, its direct input coefficient and the final demand in input-output models. In this study, we calculated the sensitivity of the reduction in the Chinese industrial wastewater discharge using the direct input coefficients based on the theory of error-transmission in an input-output framework. Using input-output models, we calculated the direct and total industrial wastewater discharge coefficients. Analysis of 2007 input-output data of 30 sectors of the Chinese economy and of 30 provincial regions of China indicates that by lowering their direct input coefficients, the manufacturers of textiles, paper and paper products, chemical products, smelting and metal pressing, telecommunication equipment, computers and other electronic equipment will significantly reduce their amounts of industrial wastewater discharge. By lowering intra-provincial direct input coefficients to industrial sectors themselves of Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang, there will be a significant reduction in industrial wastewater discharge for the country as a whole. Investment in production technology and improvement in organizational efficiency in these sectors and in these provinces can help lessen the direct input coefficients, thereby effectively achieving a reduction in industrial wastewater discharge in China via industrial restructuring.

「のだ」は日本語でよく使用される文法項目の1つであり、重要な学習項目でもある。しかし、実際の言語活動の中、いつ「のだ」を使うか分からない現象も少なくはない。本稿は、疑問文に現れる「のだ」に注目し、その使用条件を検討した上、実際の日本語教育活動に少し提言してみたい。

Embedding Sign Representation in Mobile Phones to Assist Disabled

Sign Writing, a writing system for sign language, is becoming a useful and convenient communication aid for people who are deaf. Principally, people who are deaf find it difficult to communicate with the hearing community and due to recent technological advancement they communicate amongst themselves and with the hearing community via text messaging on mobile phones. Existing messaging function is limited to writing based on the Roman alphabets or pictographic languages like Mandarin; writing in signs is deemed to be deficient in a mobile context. Hence, the aim of this paper is to examine the feasibility of writing and reading text messages in signs as an alternative communication mean besides Short Messaging Service （SMS）. Initial experimental results have significantly exemplified that sign writing gains well acceptance and is preferred among the hearing-impaired community to communicate within or between the hearing communities.

Significance and Measures of Chinese Culture Implanting Into College English Teaching

It is commonly believed that Imaguage serves as the carrier of culture and one part of it. And language teaching is inseparable from cultural knowledge impartment. So, teachers should attach great importance to cultural background when teaching English language. Unfortunately, aphasia of Chinese culture occurs when they value Western culture and ignore the infiltration of Chinese culture. Under such circumstances, this paper demonstrates the importance of implanting Chinese culture into college English teaching and proposes corresponding measures for Chinese cultural implantation

JPEG-Compatibility Steganalysis that Distinguishes Embedding Changes from Recompression Artifacts

JPEG-Compatibility steganalysis detects the presence of secret message embedded in the JPEG decompressed images and estimates the embedding rate. We propose a JPEG-Compatibility steganalysis algorithm that estimates the embedding rate based on the difference between the stego image and its recompression based predicted co-vet image. In particular, compression artifacts and embedding changes are distinguished based on the amplitude of pixel value changes. This is done independent of the embedding positions, thus is effective for both content non-adaptive and content adaptive steganography. In addition, we also improve the recompression prediction scheme to more accurately estimate the JPEG quantization table. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is significantly more effective in detecting spatial ±1 steganography across a wide range of quality factors and embedding rates, when compared to the previous works.

Interactive Peer Learning In An English Immersion Context In China

English immersion in the mainland of China has started in Xi＇an since the late 1990s, and extended into other cities in the mainland of China. This study reported the findings of the students＇ interactive peer learning model in the immersion programs, such as peer prompting and waiting; non-verbal expressions; correcting errors and modulating speaking volume; translation; attending to the peer interlocutor＇ s needs; and reciprocating peer assistance.

Performance Analysis and Framework Optimization of Open Source Cloud Storage System

More and more embedded devices, such as mobile phones, tablet PCs and laptops, are used in every field, so huge files need to be stored or backed up into cloud storage. Optimizing the performance of cloud storage is very important for Internet development. This paper presents the performance evaluation of the open source distributed storage system, a highly available, distributed, eventually consistent object/blob store from Open Stack cloud computing components. This paper mainly focuses on the mechanism of cloud storage as well as the optimization methods to process different sized files. This work provides two major contributions through comprehensive performance evaluations. First, it provides different configurations for Open Stack Swift system and an analysis of how every component affects the performance. Second, it presents the detailed optimization methods to improve the performance in processing different sized files. The experimental results show that our method improves the performance and the structure. We give the methods to optimize the object-based cloud storage system to deploy the readily available storage system.

An on-line free handwritten Chinese character recognition method based on component cascaded HMMs

This paper presents a cascaded Hidden Markov Model （HMM）, which allows state＇s transition, skip and duration. The cascaded HMM extends the way of HMM pattern description of Handwritten Chinese Character （HCC） and depicts the behavior of handwritten curve more reliably in terms of the statistic probability. Hence character segmentation and labeling are unnecessary. Viterbi algorithm is integrated in the cascaded HMM after the whole sample sequence of a HCC is input. More than 26,000 component samples are used tor training 407 handwritten component HMMs. At the improved training stage 94 models of 94 Chinese characters are gained by 32,000 samples, Compared with the Segment HMMs approach, the recognition rate of this model tier the tirst candidate is 87.89% and the error rate could be reduced by 12.4%.

Storage Management Strategy of Flash-Based Platform

Storage management strategy can be expressed by a file system. Commercial file system for embedded application is generally complicated and resource wasted. In this paper, a specified file system adapted to embedded system with flash-based memory is developed. To guarantee the average usage of flash storage sectors, the strategy of wear leveling and adaptive damage management is introduced, in which a dynamic storage space management mode and the strategy of first in first out (FIFO) are adopted. Moreover, the strategy of redundancy design and fast-calculation and tracing is also adopted to extend the life of kernel sector, which can guarantee the reliable service of system booting. The practical application in an embedded CNC (computerized numerical control) platform proves that the file system has effective performance. Furthermore, the flash file system can be transplanted to different embedded platforms by changing a few bottom hardware parameters with universality.

A Hybrid Method of Extractive Text Summarization Based on Deep Learning and Graph Ranking Algorithms

In the era of Big Data,we are faced with an inevitable and challenging problem of“overload information”.To alleviate this problem,it is important to use effective automatic text summarization techniques to obtain the key information quickly and efficiently from the huge amount of text.In this paper,we propose a hybrid method of extractive text summarization based on deep learning and graph ranking algorithms(ETSDG).In this method,a pre-trained deep learning model is designed to yield useful sentence embeddings.Given the association between sentences in raw documents,a traditional LexRank algorithm with fine-tuning is adopted fin ETSDG.In order to improve the performance of the extractive text summarization method,we further integrate the traditional LexRank algorithm with deep learning.Testing results on the data set DUC2004 show that ETSDG has better performance in ROUGE metrics compared with certain benchmark methods.

Analysis of the Story-Line Behind Selected Hausa Proverbs

Proverbs which are short witty traditional oral expressions handed down from generation to generation as a common heritage is also believed to be true expressions of the Hausa people＇s philosophy. This philosophy is clad in different ways by the people as they are continuously at work to give meanings to their creative activities. Proverbs are one of the most relevant expressions of human wisdom and knowledge of nature, psychology, and reality for the Hausa people of Northern Nigeria; however, the images that are presented in the proverbs are culturally defined and they may differ from place to place, as well as from generation to generation. Proverbs are capable of a variety of meanings, according to how and when they are used. These findings have revealed that many popular and interesting Hausa proverbs tell a condensed story; these stories give vivid illustrations which help the hearer understand the proverbs. In this paper, the author attempts a deep intellectual analysis into the story-lines behind the emergence of some selected Hausa proverbs, with a view to comprehending and propagating embedded ideas and cultural principles or philosophies that may be relevant for contemporary social usage.

Sustainability of Touristic Potential of the Old Van City and Castle of Van in Terms of Cultural, Historical and Natural Values

Tourism has become the world＇s fastest growing sector due to acceleration of technology and information flow in the globalized world of today, development of the modem mass transport system and increase in people＇s disposable income. Upon tourism＇s being considered as a serious development strategy in the developments of the countries, all the countries of the world have begun to accelerate their investments in this area through utilizing the natural and cultural assets of their countries （heritage） with a view to provide revenue to their economy as well as creation of jobs. This situation, which has emerged as a result of the globalization of supply and demand in tourism, has created certain problems in terms of environmental balance and the living conditions of local people as a result of poor management of the utilization of natural and cultural resources. The objective of this paper is to examine the concepts and principles germane to sustainable tourism which has significant contribution to the development of the countries, made at the macro level both in the world and in Turkey. The aim of this paper, at the micro level, is to create awareness incident to the tourism resources of the Van Region and the Old Van province and ensure the utilization of these resources through protection thereof. At the end of the study, the importance of the protection of heritage resources as well as fair use thereof in terms of increasing the competitiveness of Turkey on a global scale in tourism is addressed in the light of the overall evaluations.

Shifting towards a Mediterranean Diet in the US： How Far Do We Have to Go, What Are the Potential Health Benefits and Can We Get There？

In the public dialogue surrounding the development of the 2015 dietary guidelines for Americans, public health and environmental advocates converged around a simple theme of shifting towards a more plant-forward Mediterranean-style diet. A robust body of literature documenting the health benefits of this eating pattern provides compelling reasons to change our dietary habits in ways that also benefit our environment, but we also need to have the right foods available and affordable to support this modest shift. This commentary discusses the gaps in current US dietary intakes compared to recommendations for meat and protein versus plant-based foods and the potential health benefits of shifting towards a more plant-based diet, focusing on the complex role of Mediterranean crops, such as tree nuts and olive oils, needed to support this shift.

On Contemplative Psychology

This paper is a revised version of a seminal paper, written as early as 1986, that introduces the concept of contemplative psychology as a psychology that is an intrinsic part of the contemplative traditions of most world religions. It refers to the psychological insights and methods that are-often implicitly-present in the spiritual traditions themselves. The paper delineates this psychology as a psychology in its own right and in dialogue with the conventional view of psychology and science. Later research by the author has been published in two books entitled Contemplative Psychology and The Spiritual Path： An Introduction to the Psychology of the Spiritual Traditions.

Estimating Monthly Evaporation Using Artificial Neural Networks

Predicting evaporation rate is one of important elements for hydrology planning. There are several methods to estimate evaporation from a water surface. The objective of this study was to test the capability of artificial neural networks （ANNs） to predict evaporation using 10 years data set （1999 to 2008） from Ahvaz meteorological station and has been compared with values obtained using pan evaporation. Software Qnet 2000 has been utilized to model the evaporation. The Qnet 2000 was trained with monthly climate data （Solar radiation, minimum and maximum temperature, minimum and maximum relative humidity, and wind velocity） as input. The model was approximately implemented 144 times that finally hyperbolic secant stimulant function of 4 input parameters including minimum temperature, maximum temperature, solar radiation and wind velocity and 6 nodes in hidden layer has been yielded the best outcome. Correlation coefficients （R2） in training and testing sections are to 97.4% and 97.3% respectively. Also maximum errors in training and testing sections equaled to 18% and 24% respectively. Results showed ANNs approach works well for the data set used in this region.
