Turkish Van Cat and Turkish Angora Cat： A Review

Turkish Van and Angora cats are one of most important genetic resources in Turkey. The study aimed to evaluate some morphological properties and also behavioural characteristics in both Turkish Van and Angora cats. This research used both literature and the records from the Van Cat Home at Van Cats Research Centre of Yuzuncu Yil University for Turkish Van cats, as well as literature information for Turkish Angora cat. Van cats which have a special place among world cat races have gained appreciation of people with their original eye colors, long white hair and affectionate attitudes. Origin of Turkish Angora cat breeding in Turkey is Ankara province. Angora cat is strong, energetic, kind, known as a moderately long silky haired cat. According to the results of this study and literature, withers height and body length of Turkish Van cat are higher than the Turkish Angora cat, while tale length and breast girth of Turkish Angora cat are higher than the Turkish Van cat. Body weight （g） of female Turkish Angora cat is heavier than the Turkish Van cat, but male Turkish Van cat is heavier than Turkish Angora cat.

The Role of ICT in the Globalization of Firms

Accelerated globalization since the 1980s and particularly the 1990s and the development of web-based information and communication technologies （ICT） go hand in hand. Nonetheless, there has been little explicit research on the influence of ICT on the globalization of firms. Despite a rich literature of the implementation of ICT and the design of global information systems in firms, the influence of ICT on the globalization of firms has not been explicitly researched from a management perspective. This paper serves to provide an overview on existing literature in this field and to develop a basic framework for the study of the influence of ICT on the globalization of firms. Specifically, the paper reflects on the influence of ICT on the three subprocesses of globalization： internationalization, global network building, and global evolutionary dynamics.

CSI-Model-Based Research on Factors Affecting Rate Satisfaction of Government and Corporate CustomersTaking Special-Line Products as an Example

The rate satisfaction of government and corporate customers,to which telecom companies pay special attention,is an important part of the overall satisfaction of the market segment.Focusing on specialline products and based on interview with experts and literature review,this article builds an effect model comprising four factors affecting the major government and corporate customers' satisfaction with the rate,including cost performance,discount degree,rate communication and bill composition.Besides,employing AMOS and other analytical tools,it reveals significant positive effects of the aforementioned four factors on the customer's rate satisfaction,and arranges them in sequence according to the path coefficient of each influence.Based on quantified results,this article proposes management recommendations to improve the rate satisfaction,providing basis for research on the overall rate satisfaction optimization of government and corporate customers.

Who Are the Tsanars？

The present paper is an attempt to identify the terms ＂Tsanars＂ and ＂Sanars＂. The issue remains one of the controversial issues in the scholarly literature. Due to different interpretations of the same sources, scholars come to different conclusions concerning the proper derivation of the terms, the ethnic affinity of Tsanars, their location or migration, and the priority of the evidence in the sources. Since the divergence in conclusions is caused by differing interpretations of the information preserved in Greek, Georgian, Armenian, and Arabic sources, the author of the present paper traces all the relative evidence of existing sources as well as the comments made by their publishers and researchers. The supposition about the Chechen origin of Tsanars, as well as their migration from western or southern Georgia eastward, is critically examined. The author comes to a conclusion concerning the derivation of the terms from the Greek language and submits arguments for priority of the Georgian sources. Proceeding from the sources, the author thinks that the term Tsanars designated a conterminous population, settled along the northern border of Georgia named by the Greeks in the early centuries.

This text introduces the concept of local literature and collection range, explains the significance of literature collection and explores building programs of local university library. Currently, university library generally put a strong emphasis on collection of academic literature, but has less attention on literature collections which reflect the situation of university location, or even worse, simply don＇ t launch business in this field. For the university library, it is a great loss of literature information resources, as well as a great regret of library work. First, what is the local literature？ It is literature data which document a region＇ s past and present issues like politics, economy, culture, education, history, geography and other aspects like important characters and events, customs, folklore etc.

Competitive Intelligence： Bibliometric Research on Early Signals

Considering the importance of the anticipated intelligence issue on the current scenario, this article aims at understanding the scientific production about the subject, contributing to future researchers with greater academic knowledge about the productivity in the area. Therefore, a bibliometric research was carried out on weak signals and correlated matters between 1980 and 2010 and was supported by the literature review about the subject. Review of studies on land use and land cover change in Nepal

Land use and land cover(LULC) in Nepal has undergone constant change over the past few decades due to major changes caused by anthropogenic and natural factors and their impacts on the national and regional environment and climate.This comprehensive review of past and present studies of land use and land cover change(LUCC) in Nepal concentrates on cropland, grassland, forest, snow/glacier cover and urban areas. While most small area studies have gathered data from different sources and research over a short period, across large areas most historical studies have been based on aerial photographs such as the Land Resource Mapping Project in 1986. The recent trend in studies in Nepal is to focus on new concepts and techniques to analyze LULC status on the basis of satellite imagery, with the help of geographic information system and remote sensing tools. Studies based on historical documents, and historical and recent spatial data on LULC, have clearly shown an increase in cropland areas in Nepal,and present results indicating different rates and magnitudes. A decrease in forest and snow/glacier coverage is reported in most studies. Little information is available on grassland and urban areas from past research. The unprecedented rate of urbanization in Nepal has led to significant urban land changes over the past 30 years. Meanwhile, long term historical LUCC research in Nepal is required for extensive work on spatially explicit reconstructions on the basis of historical and primary data collection, including LULC archives and drivers for future change.

Pathological clavicular fracture as first presentation of renal cell carcinoma: a case report and literature review

Renal cell carcinoma(RCC) accounts for approximately 3% of all cancer cases. RCCs usually metastasize to the lungs, bones, liver, or brain. Only <1% of patients with bone metastases manifested clavicular RCC metastases. Thus, clavicular metastasis as the initial presentation of RCC is extremely rare. We report a patient with RCC metastasis to the left clavicle, which was first presented with pain caused by a pathological fracture. Magnetic resonance image revealed a renal tumor, and technetium-99m–methylene diphosphonate bone scintigraphy showed multiple osseous metastases. The patient eventually underwent surgery to remove the lateral end of the left clavicle and right kidney. Histopathology revealed renal tumor and clear cell carcinoma in the clavicle. Finally, we review 17 cases of clavicular metastases originating from different malignancies.

Individual and Environmental Factors Affecting Telework Acceptance in Chinese Organizations

Adoption of telework in Chinese organizations is still uncommon in spite of enough penetration of ICTs into working environment. In order to explore factors that hinder telework adoption in China, this study addresses which individual or environmental factors affect people＇s decision to adopt telework and especially focus on the perception of and attitude toward telework （lllegems et al. 2001） as one of the key factors for telework implementation. By identifying variables that may have an impact on the attitude towards telework acceptance based on the literature reviews, the author collected the data of employees/managers from Chinese organizations through the online survey in 2014. The analyses show that there is statistically significant difference in attitude between men and women, employees and managers, and different marital status and commuting time groups. The findings suggest that China-specific cultural and environmental factors impede the adoption and/or acceptance oftelework.

BIM Implementation--A Bibliographic Study of the Benefits and Costs Involved

The construction sector has always been constantly changing, becoming increasingly aggressive, requiring new strategies to adapt to international and national scenarios. In the development of a project, there are many constraints, which often end up in problems such as waste materials, generating waste affecting the environment and also resulting in high costs oftbe work that could be avoided. Then came the concept of BIM （building information modeling） defined by a digital model consists of a database, allowing the development of projects with various professionals working in an integrated manner, being able to support all aspects of the life cycle of the project. Therefore, from the research information on the implementation of BIM methodology, it was possible to propose new ways of thinking and designing buildings, contributing to the completion of research in the management of projects and sustainability areas relevant to the development of engineering.

Instruments for Analysis of Knowledge Management in Operators Companies of Metropolitan Transport Systems

This research aimed to determine instruments for analysis of knowledge management in operators companies of metropolitan transport systems. How much the goal was an exploratory research, how much the procedure was a literature search, how much as nature was an applied research, and how much as approach was qualitative research？ The following instruments were identified and selected： （a） the methodology for the analysis of metropolitan transport systems; （b） the knowledge management maturity model （Siemens）; and （c） Documentation and Information Centre. The simulation, using the tools in the knowledge management to analyze the Company Metropolitan of S^io Paulo--METRO, identified the need for improvements in eight areas and the problems： （1） rethink the knowledge management area; （2） develop new knowledge management policies; （3） define responsibilities in knowledge management area; （4） implement new knowledge management processes; （5） explore new ways and structures of knowledge; （6） consider the internal and external actors in knowledge management actions; （7） expand the dissemination of the collaborative culture; and （8） integrate in the knowledge management area current and future initiatives. The analysis shows that the transposition of the current situation to the desired situation for the company can be obtained with the implementation of an Information and Documentation Centre. The conclusion is that this set of tools allows to characterize, evaluate, and model the knowledge management in this business.

Personal Communication Freedom as a Problem and a Research Project

This paper considers the integrated concept of personal communication freedom which did not appear earlier in the scientific literature as independent object of research. The author puts forward some hypotheses concerning the maintenance and the humanistic importance of communication freedom. The special attention is given to a category of the person which unites in it so-called writers, readers and all other people who have been not included in process of a mass communication. As a result of the theoretical analysis, he offers the program of complex research of this phenomenon and construction of model of mass communications which should be based on an ideal of personal freedom and should reflect national-cultural features of the social environment. In particular, it is a question of national-cultural model of media in Russia.

Bibliometric Analysis of Diseases Spectrum of Moxibustion Therapy

Objective： To make a bibliometric analysis and evaluation of acupuncture-moxibustion papers on moxibustion therapy published from 1954 to 2007, thus to reflect the diseases spectrum of moxibustion therapy and proper indications of moxibustion therapy objectively. Methods： Statistics were taken by a bibliometric analysis of the data from China Modern Acupuncture-moxibustion Information Databank. Results and Conclusion： The diseases spectrum of moxibustion therapy has 364 kinds of diseases. The most proper indications of moxibustion therapy are malposition, diarrhea, and colitis. The common proper indications are urinary incontinence and dysmenorrhea. The next common proper indications are knee osteoarthritis, temporomandibular joint disturbance syndrome, soft tissue injury, heel pain, asthma, urinary retention and herpes zoster. Diseases spectrum of moxibustion therapy varies with time.

First and Others credit-assignment schema for evaluating the academic contribution of coauthors

Credit-assignment schemas are widely applied by providing fixed or flexible credit distribution formulas to evaluate the contributions of coauthors of a scientific publication. In this paper, we propose an approach named First and Others （F＆O） counting. By introducing a tuning parameter a and a weight β, two new properties are obtained： （1） flexible assignment of credits by modifying the formula （with the change of a） and applying preference to the individual author by adjusting the weights （with the change ofβ）, and （2） calculation of the credits by separating the formula for the first author from others. With formula separation, the credit of the second author shows an inflection point according to the change ofa. The developed theorems and proofs concerning the modification of a and fl reveal new properties and complement the base theory for informetrics. The F＆O schema is also adapted when considering the policy of＇first-corresponding-author-emphasis＇. Through a comparative analysis using a set of empirical data from the fields of chemistry, medicine, psychology, and the Harvard survey data, the performance of the F＆O approach is compared with those of other methods to demonstrate its benefits by the criteria of lack of fit and coefficient of determination.

Analysis of clinical application patterns in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of Alzheimer disease

Objective:To summarize the clinical application patterns in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of AD by reviewing the clinical literatures on acupuncture-moxibustion for Alzheimer disease(AD)published between January 2009 and December 2019.Methods:China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Academic Journal Full-text Database(Wanfang),Chongqing VIP Database(CQVIP),Chinese Medicine Acupuncture-moxibustion Information Database,PubMed Medical Data Retrieval Service System,Springer Database and Ovid Technologies(OVID)were retrieved to screen clinical studies of acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of AD according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria to conduct quantitative,clustering and association analyses.Results:In acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of AD,the frequently used points were Baihui(GV 20),Zusanli(ST 36),Sishencong(EX-HN 1),Taixi(KI 3),Sanyinjiao(SP 6),and Neiguan(PC 6)in the descending order.Regarding meridians,the most frequently used one was the Governor Vessel,followed by the Stomach Meridian of Foot Yangming and Gallbladder Meridian of Foot Shaoyang.From the perspective of body regions,the points in the head-face region and the lower-limb region had the highest frequencies,followed by the upper-limb,back and chest-abdomen regions.The point group,Baihui(GV 20)and Sishencong(EX-HN 1)-Neiguan(PC 6)-Sanyinjiao(SP 6),showed the most significant association,and the group winning the second place was Baihui(GV 20)and Sishencong(EX-HN 1)-Neiguan(PC 6)-Zusanli(ST 36).The clustering analysis showed that the commonly used point pairs included Zusanli(ST 36)-Sishencong(EX-HN 1)and Taixi(KI 3)-Sanyinjiao(SP 6),which were closely associated with Baihui(GV 20).By analyzing the three commonly used acupuncture-moxibustion methods,acupuncture plus medication was found achieving the best result in the total effective rate and mini-mental state examination(MMSE)score,followed by monotherapy of electroacupuncture therapy,and these two methods were superior to acupuncture alone(P<0.05);the scores of MMSE,Alzheimer disease assessment scale-cognitive section(ADAS-cog)and activity of daily living scale(ADL)showed significant improvements after treatment(all P<0.01).Conclusion:In the acupuncture-moxibustion prescriptions for AD,the main points are Baihui(GV 20),Sishencong(EX-HN 1),Neiguan(PC 6),Zusanli(ST 36),Sanyinjiao(SP 6)and Taixi(KI 3).Monotherapy of acupuncture has the highest frequency amongst the treatment methods,but its effective rate is lower than that of acupuncture plus medication and monotherapy of electroacupuncture.
