The Jewish concept of shalom and its concrete experience entail harmony with nature, with oneself, with others and with God. This article delves into the Hebrew scriptural foundations of Christianity＇s teachings about peace, and then proceeds to give an overview of some of the key references to the same theme in the New Testament. A number of key affirmations about peace and its various aspects were made during the Second Vatican Council （1962-1965）. These were followed by several official statements made by the Popes in their annual World Day of Peace Messages since 1968 The Christian concept of peace offers a number of practical applications which can be embraced by all men and women of good will, namely the creation of a purified mentality, as well as a sincere pedagogy of dialogue.展开更多

Based on an urbanization research database,a bibliometric analysis of Chinese ecological environmental research on urbanization was conducted that examined output,focused fields,topics,theories and methods.Results sho...Based on an urbanization research database,a bibliometric analysis of Chinese ecological environmental research on urbanization was conducted that examined output,focused fields,topics,theories and methods.Results show that research output in this field has been increasing since 2005.Land and industry fields in resource research,economics in ecological research,and climate and urban environments in environmental research have been studied from 1992–2011.Keywords analysis discovered that ＂Land Use＂ and ＂Heat Island Effect＂ were major keywords,making up 0.15% and 0.09% of the total frequency,respectively.＂Heat Island Effect＂ and ＂Climate Change＂ were the most recent popular keywords.Main theories were derived from ecology,mathematics,resource environmental economics and environmental science.Ecological footprint has been a core theory since 2002.The stochastic impacts by regression on population,affluence and technology model（STIRPAT）,Environmental Kuznets Curve（EKC）,and slope,land use map,excluded area,urban area,transportation map and hillside area model（SLEUTH） are the latest popular theories.During 1992–2011,the main research methods can be divided into four groups： statistics（65.17%）,systems（13.11%）,mechanisms（11.79%） and evaluation（9.93%）.Grey System Analysis from system methods and rescaled range（R/S） analysis from evaluation are the latest popular methods.Topics from macro subfields,including land use,heat island effects,water resources and the agricultural ecological environment received more attention than micro subfields such as urban environmental health problems.As urbanization problems evolve,resource environmental economic comprehensive models will advance with modeling progress and some models,such as STIRPAT and land use change simulation models,will be developed for evaluation and simulation of the ecological environmental impacts of Chinese urbanization.展开更多

This study uses the knowledge graph tool CiteSpace to identify and analyze the...Ecological compensation is an important part of ecological civilization which has gained widespread attention in academia in recent years. This study uses the knowledge graph tool CiteSpace to identify and analyze the literature related to ecological compensation research published in academic journals in the CNKI database, in order to provide an objective and scientific reference for the research in this field. The results show that the domestic research on ecological compensation began to appear around 2000, and the first research boom was ushered in starting in 2009. Most studies have explored ecological compensation from the connotation of ecological compensation, compensation subjects and objects, compensation standards, compensation methods, compensation supervision and evaluation of compensation effects, etc., and the articles on ecological compensation standards are relatively more abundant. At the same time, ecological compensation research is often linked to the realization of ecosystem service value and ecological product value. In the future, researchers should focus on establishing and improving the ecological compensation standard accounting system, exploring the market-based ecological compensation mechanism, attaching importance to the ecological compensation fund distribution mechanism, and strengthening research related to ecological compensation effect assessment. Ecological compensation theory should be developed in the direction of deepening and providing new research perspectives for helping China to deal with the relationship between conservation and development.展开更多

Results: Zusanli (ST 36), Ashi point and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) ranked the top on the list of frequency;points from Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang and Stomach Meridian of Foot Yangming were often used;points from the lower limbs and back had high frequencies. The most commonly used treatment method was acupuncture-moxibustion plus medication. Acupuncture-moxibusti on plus the three-step an algesic ladder showed certai n adva ntage compared with the two methods used separately, and among the integrated methods, acupoint application plus the three-step analgesic ladder produced the most significant efficacy. It took (44.77±55.54) min for the analgesic effect to act and the effect lasted for (12.81±14.59) h. Numerical rati ng scale (NRS), visual an alog scale (VAS) and Kar nofsky performa nee status (KPS) scores all showed sign ifica nt changes after interventions (all P<0.01);there was no significant change in the score of quality of life (QOL) after interventions (P>0.05). The increasing industrial agglomeration and development of industrial clusters have been the prominent characteristics of dynamics of industrial landscape in China. The major driving forces of China's industrial geography include economic globalization, decentralization and regional competition and rebuilding of regional advantages.
