Their attempts to model automatic selection in practical, large-scale, text classification systems have been limited. In this paper, we propose a new model selection algorithm that utilizes the DDAG learning architecture. This architecture derives a new large-scale text classifier with very good performance. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has good efficiency and the necessary generalization capability while handling large-scale multi-class text classification tasks.展开更多
Objective:To analysis the development trend and research focus of empowerment theory applied to Nursing in China.Methods:Literatures related to the objective were searched and collected from CNKI,WangFang,VIP and CBM,...Objective:To analysis the development trend and research focus of empowerment theory applied to Nursing in China.Methods:Literatures related to the objective were searched and collected from CNKI,WangFang,VIP and CBM,then Excel 2003 was used to setup the database and co-word matrix,SPSS 21.0 was utilized to make the visualized analysis by way of multivariate statistics analysis,cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling analysis.Results:Literatures with the number of 486 were selected out and 18 high frequency keywords were retrieved from 140 journals.Among the literatures,the first one was published in 2002,then a tremendous rising started since 2009,and reached the peak in 2017,mainly from the southern part of China,such as the province of Jiangsu,Guangdong,and Zhejiang.Regarding the content of the literatures,the research of intervention accounted for 61.32%,then the research of description came to the second at the ratio of 24.49%.What’s more,378(77.78%)were cited,154(31.69%)were funded.Conclusion:Nowadays,empowerment applied in the therapy of chronic disease is the focus and trend of the research of empowerment theory,and the psychological empowerment to nursing staff,as well as the constructed empowerment is going mature.In the future,more attention should be paid to the study and practice of empowerment theory,in order to vary the direction of research and enrich the theory.展开更多

With about thirty years of momentum, this discipline has grown from little more than a special interests group to a topic to whi...Cultural Psychology emerged as an interdisciplinary subfield roughly in the 1980s/1990s. With about thirty years of momentum, this discipline has grown from little more than a special interests group to a topic to which multiple institutions and journals have been dedicated. This paper presents an outline of the discipline of Cultural Psychology from an American interdisciplinary perspective. The pitfalls of General Psychology （research methodology, politicization, and an essentialist hermeneutic） and Anthropology （an epistemological gap in the four fields approach, psychophobia, and the role of the researcher in cultural change） are addressed, in turn. Cultural Psychology provides an alternative to these pitfalls by drawing on the strengths of each discipline to address both theoretical and empirical problems. Cultural Psychology urges for a critical reflection on the social structure and history of its own discipline, resulting in a broader academic canon and a more nuanced understanding of interdisciplinary relations within the human sciences.展开更多

To resolve these problems, multiple classification methods can be used to learn the matching between ontologies. The paper uses the general statistic classification method to discover category features in data instances and use the first-order learning algorithm FOIL to exploit the semantic relations among data instances. When using multistrategy learning approach, a central problem is the evaluation of multistrategy classifiers. The goal and the conditions of using multistrategy classifiers within ontology matching are different from the ones for general text classification. This paper describes the combination rule of multiple classifiers called the Best Outstanding Champion, which is suitable for heterogeneous ontology mapping. On the prediction results of individual methods, the method can well accumulate the correct matching of alone classifier. The experiments show that the approach achieves high accuracy on real-world domain.展开更多

It is shown that determining the effect of quadratic coefficients to the systematic structure can be converted to determining that of coefficients of the linear part. Under some parametric conditions, the system can produce chaotic attractors similar as Lorenz attractor. A constructive theorem is proposed for generalized synchronization related to the fractional-order chaotic system and an application of this new system is demonstrated.展开更多

Artefacts bring together cognitive evolution and technical enhancement. Although artefacts are conceived as technical, we are now facing a relationship with Information Technology （IT） artefacts. IT artefacts include both hardware and software, as a two-sided entity. The definition of IT artefact corresponds with the Saussurean linguistic sign： a two-sided entity constituted by the signifier （hardware） and the signified （software）. I claim that IT artefacts share this ontological trait with the linguistic sign. I will show that IT artefacts are the result of design and planning, while language--which is an institution--is not the fabrication of one human but linked to collective human activity.展开更多

Eliot＇s personal attachment to religious knowledge and his reflections of religious studies inevitably manifest themselves in his literary works; be it his dramas or poems, mostly in the forms of philosophical and psychoanalytical analysis of his characters and the detected problems observed in their relationships. The Cocktail Party, a play starting off as a drawing-room comedy soon converts to a serious analysis of human psychology and the nature of human interactions. While engaging with these particular points, the play offers possibilities to discuss several religious allusions, though dealt with subtly. Integrated with religion, characters＇ attitudes towards a given situation and their final decision position them in their quest either in ＂hypothetical＂ enlightenment or in a ＂supposed＂ repetition of a vicious circle. The enforcing power behind the play is interestingly a psychiatrist, who adds dynamism and mystery to the plot and has a special task in making the play a drama of conversion. The inner conflicts of the characters which ultimately lead to a series of problems in their relationships are the main concern which causes the characters search for different solutions. Accordingly, they make their own choices to cease their inner struggles. This paper aims to explore the concept of conversion in Eliot＇s The Cocktail Party with references to the playwright＇s religious journey in his literary career.展开更多
Plasmablastic lymphoma(PBL) is a rare aggressive B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder,which has been characterized by the World Health Organization as a new entity.Although PBL is most commonly seen in the oral cavity ...Plasmablastic lymphoma(PBL) is a rare aggressive B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder,which has been characterized by the World Health Organization as a new entity.Although PBL is most commonly seen in the oral cavity of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-positive patients,it can also be seen in extraoral sites in immunocompromised patients who are HIV-negative.Here we present a rare case of PBL of the small intestine in a 55-year-old HIV-negative male.Histopathological examination of the excisional lesion showed a large cell lymphoma with plasmacytic differentiation diffusely infiltrating the small intestine and involving the surrounding organs.The neoplastic cells were diffusely positive for CD79a,CD138 and CD10 and partly positive for CD38 and epithelial membrane antigen.Approximately 80% of the tumor cells were positive for Ki-67.A monoclonal rearrangement of the kappa light chain gene was demonstrated.The patient died approximately 1.5 mo after diagnosis in spite of receiving two courses of the CHOP chemotherapy regimen.In a review of the literature,this is the first case report of PBL with initial presentation in the small intestine without HIV and Epstein-Barr virus infection,and a history of hepatitis B virus infection and radiotherapy probably led to the iatrogenic immunocompromised state.展开更多

As a result, the human being has created a non-scientifically based cultural environment that is affecting his ability to survive. In effect, cultural evolution is occurring more rapidly than biological evolution that can adapt to the changes brought about in the physical and psycho-social environments. In a pluralistic cultural world, where each society has generated a different view of human nature and different ethical values, the use, misuse, or non-use of scientific and technological advances are derived from these unscientific views of human nature. Since all life depends on limiting interacting environmental and ecological factors, it is imperative that scientific information be used to govern how to minimize irreversible effects on life-sustaining ecological factors, but also scientific information bearing on understanding human nature ought to be integrated into a ＂global bioethics＂. While ethical values cannot be directly derived from scientific factors, it is also true that human values or our ＂ought＂ cannot be maintained in ignorance or defiance of the facts or the ＂is＂.展开更多
