Emerging of Stochastic Dynamical Equalities and Steady State Thermodynamics from Darwinian Dynamics

The evolutionary dynamics first conceived by Darwin and Wallace, referring to as Darwinian dynamics in the present paper, has been found to be universally valid in biology. The statistical mechanics and thermodynamics, while enormous successful in physics, have been in an awkward situation of wanting a consistent dynamical understanding. Here we present from a formal point of view an exploration of the connection between thermodynamics and Darwinian dynamics and a few related topics. We first show that the stochasticity in Darwinian dynamics implies the existence temperature, hence the canonical distribution of Boltzmann-Gibbs type. In term of relative entropy the Second Law of thermodynamics is dynamically demonstrated without detailed balance condition, and is valid regardless of size of the system. In particular, the dynamical component responsible for breaking detailed balance condition does not contribute to the change of the relative entropy. Two types of stochastic dynamical equalities of current interest are explicitly discussed in the present approach： One is based on Feynman-Kac formula and another is a generalization of Einstein relation. Both are directly accessible to experimental tests. Our demonstration indicates that Darwinian dynamics represents logically a simple and straightforward starting point for statistical mechanics and thermodynamics and is complementary to and consistent with conservative dynamics that dominates the physical sciences. Present exploration suggests the existence of a unified stochastic dynamical framework both near and far from equilibrium.

Fault diagnosis for on-board equipment of train control system based on CNN and PSO-SVM hybrid model

Rapid and precise location of the faults of on-board equipment of train control system is a significant factor to ensure reliable train operation.Text data of the fault tracking table of on-board equipment are taken as samples,and an on-board equipment fault diagnosis model is designed based on the combination of convolutional neural network(CNN)and particle swarm optimization-support vector machines(PSO-SVM).Due to the characteristics of high dimensionality and sparseness of fault text data,CNN is used to achieve feature extraction.In order to decrease the influence of the imbalance of the fault sample data category on the classification accuracy,the PSO-SVM algorithm is introduced.The fully connected classification part of CNN is replaced by PSO-SVM,the extracted features are classified precisely,and the intelligent diagnosis of on-board equipment fault is implemented.According to the test analysis of the fault text data of on-board equipment recorded by a railway bureau and comparison with other models,the experimental results indicate that this model can obviously upgrade the evaluation indexes and can be used as an effective model for fault diagnosis for on-board equipment.

Isolation and characterization of 45 polymorphic microsatellite loci of turbot(Scophthalmus maximus)and cross-species amplification

Turbot （Scophthalmus maximus） is a flatfish species commercially important for aquaculture. In this study, we generated a microsatellite-enriched genomic DNA library for Scophthalmus rnaxirnus, and then isolated and characterized 45 microsateIIite loci by genotyping 30 individuals. The observed number of alleles ranged from 2 to 19 with an average of 6.24, while the effective number of alleles ranged from 1.30 to 11.11 with an average of 3.66. The expected heterozygosities varied from 0.235 to 0.9254 and polymorphic information content ranged from 0.204 4 to 0.903 3, with an average of 0.622. Twelve loci deviated significantly from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, and no significant linkage disequilibrium was observed between any pair of loci after Bonferroni correction. In cross-species amplification, five flatfish species （Paralichthys lethostigma, Verasper rnoseri, platichthys stellatus, Hippoglossoides dubius and Cynoglossus semilaevis） showed at least one polymorphic locus. These polymorphic microsatellite loci should prove useful for population analysis of turbot and other related species.

Rock Music in Contemporary China： An Ideological Arena

The rock music in contemporary China is a filed for the folk, official, elite and other multi-element ideology competition. Wang Feng is a winner walking on the ideological balance beam. After deconstructing Cui Jian＇s grand narrative mode and strong critical feature, his works have been endowed with heavy critical color and reflection value by a grassroots band named ＂Xuriyanggang＂. Besides, Wang Feng＇s works have eliminated the distinction between the official and folk feature, elegance and worldly feature, as well as elite and mass. To a large extent, they have defined the rock music in contemporary China, and pushed the Chinese rock to the mainstream market. Consequently, the Chinese rock has been gradually developed into multiple and compound culture modes.

Craftsmanship as the Model of a New Cultural Way

This becomes the model of a foundational cultural act, in which a complex vision of culture joins a subjectivity that is at the same time a dynamic balance between rational and emotional components and a process where body and soul are inextricably entwined.

Long Work Hours and Work-Life Balance in Korea and Japan

This study examines long work hours and work-life balance in relation to wage level, workaholism, and consumerism in both Korea and Japan. Findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the hypothesis that the wages and working hours have positive but differential effects depending on wage level categories are supported. Second, effects of cultural factors, such as workaholism and consumerism, on long work hours, however, are not significant in both countries. Third, for Korean manual workers, the probability of working long hours is high, but the level of time scarcity is low; but the effect of union membership on long work hours is not significant in both Korea and Japan. Fourth, the hypothesis that negative effects of long work hours and time scarcity on satisfaction with work-life balance are supported. These findings suggest that an increase in wage for non-regular workers and a minimum wage are required to reduce working hours. In addition, they also suggest that reducing working hours, overtime work in particular, and wage gap are crucial to raising the level of satisfaction with work-life balance in both Korea and Japan.

Salt-Containing Extractive Distillation of 1-Propanol/Water System 1.Prediction of Salt Effect on Vapor Liquid Equilibrium

This paper has studied the vapor-liquid equilibrium （VLE） for the salt-containing extractive distillation of the 1-propanol/water system. Binary VLE data were measured for the systems of 1-propanol （1）/KAc （4）, ethanediol （3）/KAc （4）, and 1-propanol （1）/ethanediol （3）, with the VLE data correlated with the NRTL model in order to obtain the model parameters of these binary systems. The binary VLE data cited in technical literature were correlated to obtain the model parameters for other binary systems. VLE data of ternary and quaternary systems predicted by the NRTI.： model agreed well with the literature data. The influence of KAc, ethanediol, and the KAc/ethanediol mixture on volatility between 1-propanol and water was investigated respectively. Test results showed that the above-mentioned materials （KAc, ethanediol） and their mixture （KAc and ethanediol） have different influence on the volatility. When x3=0.5, and x4=0.05, the azeotropic point can be elimi- nated. The NRTL model method of salt-containing VLE is simple and effective for the prediction of the system＇s VLE data.

Zhang Heng's Seismoscope( 2):Historical Materials and Investigation

Historical data regarding Zhang Heng's seismoscope is not singular proof. Actually,the four earliest historical documents,i. e.,Continuation of Historiography of Han Dynasty, Historiography of the Later Han,Book of the Later Han and Ding Record all have relevant records of its structure,size,principle,response to earthquake and actual applications. These five aspects are supported by archaeological research,unearthed cultural relics, historical earthquakes and modern seismological study. These historical materials contain a great deal of specific information about this ancient seismoscope. In conclusion, the authenticity and reliability of Zhang Heng's seismoscope are verified.
