C/C composites with banded structure pyrocarbon were fabricated by fast chemical vapor infiltration(CVI),with C3H6 as carbon source,N2 as carrier gas,and three-dimensional(3D) 12K PAN-based carbon fabric with high density of 0.94 g/cm3 as preform.Experimental results indicated that the fracture characteristics of C/C composites were closely related to the frequency of high-temperature treatment(HTT) at the break of CVI process.According to the load?displacement curves,C/C composites showed a pseudoplastic fracture after twice of HTT.After three times of HTT,load?displacement curves tended to be stable with a decreasing bending strength at 177.5 MPa.Delamination failure and intrastratal fiber fracture were observed at the cross-section of C/C composites by scanning electronic microscope.Because the content of pyrocarbon and fibers has a different distribution in layers,the C/C composites show different fracture characteristics at various regions,which leads to good toughness and bending strength. 展开更多

They were randomIy divided into three groups, incIuding controI group (CK), antibiotic group (A) and microbial ecoIogical agent group (MEA). The growth performance, health status and economic benefits of the weaned pigIets were measured. The resuIts showed that the A and MEA groups couId better enhance the immunity of weaned pigIets and improve the economic benefits in the whoIe experimental period compared to the CK group (P〈0.01). How-ever, there were no significant differences in pigIet immunity and economic benefits between the A and MEA groups (P〉0.05). It is indicated that the Rujunbao, a mi-crobial ecoIogical agent, can be promoted in weaned pigIet production as a repIace-ment for antibiotic. 展开更多

In order to avoid brittle fracture failure, a ductile engineered cementitious composite (ECC) was attempted in steel/concrete connection zones to replace normal concrete. The influence of the ECC material ductility on connection failure modes and structural performance was investigated via the pushout test of stud/ECC connection, the pullout test of two-dimensional anchor bolt/ECC connection and the finite element modeling (FEM). The experimental results suggest that the micromechanically designed ECC with a tensile ductility 300 times that of normal concrete switches the brittle fracture failure mode to a ductile one in steel connection zones. This modification in material behavior leads to higher load carrying capacity and structural ductility, which is also confirmed in FEM investigation. The enhancement in structural response through material ductility engineering is expected to be applicable to a wide range of engineering structures where steel and concrete come into contact. 展开更多

Since these two points exist simultaneously, it makes the problem more complex. We need to use the new multivariate diagnosis theory with two kinds of quality proposed by Prof. Zhang Gongxu in 1996 to solve such complex problem. The effects of texture and abnormal large grains on the plastic anisotropy and fracture behavior of hot-rolled AZ31 magnesium alloy were investigated. Uniaxial tensile deformation behaviors of samples with tensile axis tilting 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75° and 90° to normal direction (ND) respectively were addressed. Tensile deformation anisotropy was observed for samples with different angles to ND. The results show that the specimens with the angle from 0° to 30° exhibit relatively lower yielding strength due to the {1 012}extension twinning. However, basal slip and prismatic slip are the dominant deformation modes for the specimens with angles larger than 45°. Macro-fractures are parallel to the length direction of abnormal large grains in the specimens with angles less than 60°, while those are serrated fracture edge for specimens with angles 75° and 90°. 展开更多

In an actual control system, it is often difficult to find out where the faults are if only based on the outside fault phenomena, acquired frequently from a fault system. So the fault diagnosis by outside fault phenomena is considered. Based on the theory of fuzzy recognition and fault diagnosis, this method only depends on experience and statistical data to set up fuzzy query relationship between the outside phenomena (fault characters) and the fault sources (fault patterns). From this relationship the most probable fault sources can be obtained, to attain the goal of quick diagnosis. Based on the above approach, the standard fuzzy relationship matrix is stored in the computer as a system database. And experiment data are given to show the fault diagnosis results. The important parameters can be on line sampled and analyzed, and when faults occur, faults can be found, the alarm is given and the controller output is regulated. 展开更多

Based on the linear parameter-varying (LPV) adaptive observer, the robust fault diagnosis for a class of LPV systems with external disturbances is studied. Since the flight control system (FCS) is nonlinear and time-varying, the LPV technique is used for FCS. And then the adaptive fault estimation algorithm based on the LPV adaptive observer is proposed to estimate the fault. To minimize the effect of disturbances on the fault estimation, the H~ robust performance index is introduced to design the LPV adaptive fault diagnosis observer and the fault estimation algorithm. The result shows that the method has good estimation performance and is robust to external disturbances. The design method is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a helicopter LPV FCS model with the actuator fault is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

The rich diagnosis knowledge in maintenance record was captured through applying the method. The microstructure and its effects on the high temperature mechanical behavior of Cu-2.7%Al_2O_3 (volume fraction) dispersion strengthened copper (ADSC) alloy were investigated. The results indicate that fine alumina particles are uniformly distributed in the copper matrix, while a few coarse ones are distributed on the grain boundaries. Tensile tests results show that Hall-Petch mechanism is the main contribution to the yield strength of ADSC alloy at room temperature. Its high temperature strength is attributed to the strong pinning effects of alumina particles on the grain and sub-grain boundaries with dislocations. The ultimate tensile strength can reach 237 MPa and the corresponding yield strength reaches 226 MPa at 700℃. Tensile fracture morphology indicates that the ADSC alloy shows brittleness at elevated temperatures. Creep tests results demonstrate that the steady state creep rates at 400 ℃ are lower than those at 700 ℃. The stress exponents at 400 ℃ and 700℃ are 7 and 5, respectively, and the creep strain rates of the ADSC alloy are controlled by dislocation core diffusion and lattice diffusion. 展开更多

Liver diffuse lesions were induc... AIM: To determine the validity of the non-invasive method of CT perfusion (CTP) in rat model of hepatic diffuse disease. METHODS: Twenty-eight Wistar rats were divided into two groups. Liver diffuse lesions were induced by diethyln-itrosamine in 14 rats of test group. Rats in control group were bred with pure water. From the 1st to 12th wk after the test group was intervened, both groups were studied every week with CTP. CTP parameters of liver parenchyma in different periods and pathologic changes in two groups were compared and analyzed. RESULTS: The process of hepatic diffuse lesions in test groups was classified into three stages or periods according to the pathologic alterations, namely hepatitis, hepatic fibrosis, and cirrhosis. During this period, hepatic artery flow (HAF) of control group declined slightly, mean transit time (MTT), blood flow (BF) and volume (BV) increased, but there were no significant differences between different periods. In test group, HAF tended to increase gradually, MTT prolonged obviously, BV and BF decreased at the same time. The results of statistical analysis revealed that the difference in the HAF ratio of test group to control group was significant. The ratio of BV and BF in test group to control group in stage of hepatitis and hepatic cirrhosis, hepatic fibrosis and early stage of hepatic cirrhosis was significantly different, but there was no significant difference between hepatitis and hepatic fibrosis. The main pathological changes in stage of hepatitis were swelling of hepatic cells, while sinusoid capillarization and deposition of collagen aggravated gradually in the extravascular Disse's spaces in stage of fibrosis and early stage of cirrhosis. CONCLUSION: The technique could reflect some early changes of hepatic blood perfusion in rat with liver diffuse disease and is valuable for their early diagnosis. 展开更多

The electrical performance including breakdown voltage and turn-off speed of SOI-LIGBT is improved by incorporating a resistive field plate (RFP) and a p-MOSFET.The p-MOSFET is controlled by a signal detected from a point of the RFP.During the turning-off of the IGBT,the p-MOSFET is turned on,which provides a channel for the excessive carriers to flow out of the drift region and prevents the carriers from being injected into the drift region.At the same time,the electric field affected by the RFP makes the excessive carriers flow through a wider region,which almost eliminates the second phase of the turning-off of the SOI-LIGBT caused by the substrate bias.Faster turn-off speed is achieved by above two factors.During the on state of the IGBT,the p-MOSFET is off,which leads to an on-state performance like normal one.At least,the increase of the breakdown voltage for 25% and the decrease of the turn-off time for 65% can be achieved by this structure as can be verified by the numerical simulation results. 展开更多

High-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy and selected area electron diffraction techniques were used to study the mechanism that underlies the influence of rapid cold-stamping deformation on the fracture behavior of the elongated nanoprecipitated phase in extruded Al−Cu−Mg alloy.Results show that the interface between the long strip-shaped S′phase and the aluminum matrix in the extruded Al−Cu−Mg alloy is flat and breaks during rapid cold-stamping deformation.The breaking mechanisms are distortion and brittle failure,redissolution,and necking.The breakage of the long strip S′phase increases the contact surface between the S′phase and the aluminum matrix and improves the interfacial distortion energy.This effect accounts for the higher free energy of the S′phase than that of the matrix and creates conditions for the redissolution of solute atoms back into the aluminum matrix.The brittle S′phase produces a resolved step during rapid cold-stamping deformation.This step further accelerates the diffusion of solute atoms and promotes the redissolution of the S′phase.Thus,the S′phase necks and separates,and the long strip-shaped S′phase in the extruded Al−Cu−Mg alloy is broken into a short and thin S′phase. 展开更多

Rock is more sensitive to tensile loading than compressive loading,since the tensile strength of rock is much lower than compressive strength.The fracture characteristics of rock in the tensile state are of great significance to the understanding of rock failure mechanisms.To this end,we have conducted numerical simulation researches on modeⅠcracking process of rock with varying homogeneity,using the Realistic Failure Process Analysis program.With the increase of homogeneity,cracks are concentrating to the ligament area with a decreasing number of crack bifurcations,and the main crack path is becoming smooth.Crack behaviors and mechanical properties are influenced significantly when the homogeneity index is in the range of 1.5 to 5.When the homogeneity index is greater than 30,they are not affected by rock homogeneity and the rock can be considered as essentially homogeneous.It is considered that the global and local strengths are affected by the distribution of rock mechanical properties at mesoscale,which influence the crack behaviors and mechanical characteristics. 展开更多

This paper describes the design and development of a wireless LAN (WLAN) access point based on Bluetooth and uClinux. To make the best use of high-speed serial communication capability, several methods such as modifying baud-rate of serial port driver, utilizing buffer area and adding flow-control were adopted. After analysis of scheduling and interruption handling, modifying the timer's parameters was put forward as a method to control the timer interrupt. In this way, data throughput and system stability were enhanced. Meanwhile, migration of the Bluetooth protocol stack was detailed and some successful applications of LAN access point were presented. 展开更多
