The recent increase in patent granted in China prompts for an analysis of the various strategies which are certainly developed by Chinese applicants in that field. An analysis (APA Automatic Patent Analysis) has bee...The recent increase in patent granted in China prompts for an analysis of the various strategies which are certainly developed by Chinese applicants in that field. An analysis (APA Automatic Patent Analysis) has been done in several fields which have different impacts on the Chinese economy. We chose four different subjects: solar panels; photovoltaic panels; fireworks; and honeysuckle. These areas go from deep international concern to only Chinese interest. We analyzed in the different ratios between Chinese priority patents, Chinese patents extended to other countries, Patent extended from other countries to China and Chinese utility models. The results show clearly that various directions are followed depending on the economic importance of the field and also the pressure of the competition inside and outside China. In this context the strategic dependence (number of patents extended to China by other countries) was examined for each of the fields. We also show that in the domain where the man power is important such as fireworks the number of utility models is important. This suggests that utility models are used to spread in that field minor innovations. In the fields such as honeysuckle many applicants are the same that the inventors and the involvement of universities larger than in other fields. These two fields more or less centered on Chinese domestic aspects only a few patents (not for Honeysuckle) are extended to other countries. The impact of foreign patents in these two fields is quasi nil. In other domains such as photovoltaic panel the triadic patents (extension to US JP EP) are examined its show that if some Chinese patents are extended to other countries there are also an important numbers of foreign patents extended to China. This also suggests that in these most critical subjects, China develops a sort of technological protection barrier from domestic patents. This underlines a strategy on attack and defense in that field.展开更多
We report the enhanced performance of organic solar cells(OSCs) based on regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT) and methanofullerene [6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM) blend by using dihydroxybenzene ...We report the enhanced performance of organic solar cells(OSCs) based on regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT) and methanofullerene [6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM) blend by using dihydroxybenzene as additive in the active layer.The effect of the content of the additives on electrical characteristics of the device is studied.The device with 0.2 wt% dihydroxybenzene additive achieves the best power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 4.58% with Jsc of 12.5 mA/cm2,Voc of 0.65 V,and FF of 66.6% under simulated solar illumination of AM 1.5G(100 mW/cm2),compared with the control device with PCE of 3.39%(35% improvement compared with the control device).The XRD measurement reveals that the addition of additives induces the crystallization of P3HT and establishes good inter-network to increase the contact area of donor and acceptor,and then helps charge to be effectively transferred to the electrode to reduce the chance of recombination.All evidences indicate that the dihydroxybenzene is likely to be a promising new type additive that can enhance the performance of organic bulk heterojunction solar cells.展开更多

The cosmological consequence of this parametrization is explored by...We investigate a second order parabolic parametrization, w(a) = wt + wa(at - a)2, which is a direct characterization of a possible turning in w. The cosmological consequence of this parametrization is explored by using the observational data of the SNLS3 type Ia supernovae sample, the CMB measurements from WMAP9 and Planck, the Hubble parameter measurement from HST, and the baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) measurements from 6dFGS, BOSS DRI 1 and improved WiggleZ. We found the existence of a turning point in w at a - 0.7 is favored at 10- CL. In the epoch 0.55 〈 a 〈 0.9, w 〈 -1 is favored at 10- CL, and this significance increases near a - 0.8, reaching a 20- CL. The parabolic parametrization achieve equivalent performance to the ACDM and Chevallier-Polarski-Linder (CPL) models when the Akaike information criterion was used to assess them. Our analysis shows the value of considering high order parametrizations when studying the cosmological constraints on w.展开更多
