Since these early efforts the available scientic knowledge base related to football has developed substantially. The ability of this scientic information to influence practice in the day-to-day activity of football organisations, especially elite teams, has been largely taken for granted. The close examination of this impact can lead to more uncertainty regarding the usefulness of the scientic data to the sport. Few articles are available that have attempted to critique the link between science and football practice. As such, the aims of this article are 2-fold; one is to examine the historical background to ＂science and football＂ and to analyse the influence of sports science research on the current practice of coaches and practitioners within the sport. It is well known that the ocular contour was characterized by its skin structure relevant to fillings of soft tissue and concave-convex bones. With aging, it changed a lot due to the volume loss of soft tissue. In rec...It is well known that the ocular contour was characterized by its skin structure relevant to fillings of soft tissue and concave-convex bones. With aging, it changed a lot due to the volume loss of soft tissue. In recent studies, the aging process of the Asians whose eyelids flled with more soft tissue had signifcant impacts on the ocular contour. The aim of our work was to investigate the changes of the ocular contour of Asian people and establish a curve to describe it. In this study, it was demonstrated that the aging was not only linked to the distance between the inferior border of palpebral bag and the midpoint of palpebral fissure, but also correlated with the angle between palpebral fissure and the facial midline. Therefore, “Youthful Curve of Ocular Region” was established with measurements based on mentioned two areas. This curve went through the regions of upper and lower eyelid area and palpebral bags area. In addition, by using multivariate linear regression, a mathematical model to analyze this curve was obtained. The mathematical model was a crucial supplement to evaluate appearance age of ocular region in Asian people. Moreover, it had great potential in developments of anti-aging effects of eye cosmetics.展开更多

Just as a good tutor would practice different techniques of teaching, an assessor would usually use different strategies of assessment. Moreover, the different activities of assessment, such as teaching, are additionally executed at various times during the semester, thus, we can know in which way the student is learning. An assessment strategy lays out a well thoroughly considered choice of assessment methods that are aligned with the aims and learning outcomes. Because align the assessment with a specific kind of learning outcome, the tutor needs to choose a suitable technique of assessment. This paper draws upon a case study of the first year architectural design at Pharos University as another way to deal with realizing ＂how to design your assessment plan＂. Throughout the form of criteria based assessment, assessment can help to review the students and instructors feeling and reactions. Finally, we can learn to assist towards enhancing student learning through assessment. So, we can attract the consideration regarding the advantages of reviewing current assessment practices, and of accepting different ways to deal with assessment methods, in this manner profiting together student and tutor.展开更多
