On sugarcane production, the spatial and temporal controlling technology of fertigation is an important direction of the sustainable and healthy development of ecological agriculture in cane area of China. This paper reviews main achievements and advances on the coupling effect of water and fertilizer on sugarcane from time and space at home or abroad in recent years, analyzes the application prospects of the temporal and spatial coupling effect of water and fertilizer on sugarcane and puts forward some problems which need further research in future.展开更多

The production and the supply of high quality laboratory animals have fundamental importance for the accomplishment of vanguard scientific research, with reproducibility and universality. The quality of those animals depends, largely, on the available facilities for their production and lodging, to assure the demanded sanitary control and animal's welfare, in agreement with the ethical principles that control the activity. Therefore, the facilities design is of vital importance so that the mentioned requirements can be reached. Nevertheless, pigs and miniature pigs have gained importance as large animal models in medicine. With their size, organ capacity, and physiology resembling in several aspects that of humans, pigs are well suited for preclinical experiments and long-term safety studies. Minipigs will be used for preclinical testing of radiopharmaceuticals and assays radioactive materials for cardiac tests. This paper describes the premises and preliminary activities that have been performed at IPEN for the design of new Animal House Facilities dedicated to keeping minipigs taking into account fundamental aspects such as: animal's welfare, sanitation, genetic, in agreement with the ethical principles that control the activity and environmental concerns.展开更多

During analysis and interpretation of data, some touch of context is also given to clear the picture of weakness and strengths of project theory in terms of context. The main objective of project under study was to provide alternative energy to the communities living inside forest to reduce wood cutting for domestic purpose. Though there were many short term surveys were conducted during project, such as, average wood consumption at household level, community motivation survey. Instead to all MRDS (Mehran Research & Development Society) felt need to conduct a detailed impact evaluation to see overall impact of project implementation and review on the life of end users or communities. After three years of project exit, MRDS conducted a qualitative impact study of project in the end of 2014. There were three key questions to explore during study: What was the overall impact of project on end users? What the best practices of project and why? What are project learnings and how?展开更多

The paper comprehensively illustrates the research status and important issues of EEW from the aspects of concept, composition and method. By analyzing the status of EEW in China,we find that the essential requirements have been met for building earthquake early warning systems in the country in terms of government and social needs, network construction and basic research. The technical difficulties and non-technical challenges in implementing EEW in China are evaluated, and some suggestions are proposed regarding the relevant legal measures, public education and protection against earthquake disasters. so as to bring into full play the role of the EEW system in earthquake disaster prevention and reduction.展开更多
