The TiO2 thin film coats through spreading nanoparticles evenly onto the ITO glass via self-made spin-heat platform, and then TiO2 thin film is soaked in the dye N-719 more than 12 h to prepare the photoelectrode device. The TiO2 nanoparticles produced by electric-discharge-nanofluid-process have premium anatase crystal property, and its diameter can be controlled within a range of 20-50 nm. The surface energy zeta potential of nanofluid is from -22 mV to -28.8 mV, it is a stable particle suspension in the deionized water. A trace of surfactant Triton X-100 put upon the surface of ITO glass can produce a uniform and dense TiO2 thin film and heating up the spin platform to 200 oC is able to eliminate mixed surfac-tant. Self-made TiO2 film presents excellent dye absorption performance and even doesn't need heat treatment procedure to enhance essential property. Results of energy analysis show the thicker film structure will increase the short-circuit current density that causes higher conversion efficiency. But, as the film structure is large and thick, both the open-circuit voltage and fill factor will decline gradually to lead bad efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell.展开更多

However,sequential follow-up of liver biochemical data remained lacking..METHODS: The biochemistry data and clinical symptoms of 11 sporadic patients were collected and analyzed, focusing on the impacts of leptospirosis upon liver biochemistry tests.RESULTS: The results disclosed that of the 11 cases, 5 or 45% died. The liver biochemistry data in the beginning of the disease course were only mildly elevated.Nevertheless, late exaggerated aspartate transaminase (AST)elevations were noted in three cases who finally died when compared with the typical course. Besides, significant higher AST/alanine transaminase (ALT) ratios (AARs) of the peak levels for transaminase were also noted in the cases who eventually succumbed. The mean±SD of AARs for the survival group and dead group were 5.65±2.27 (n = 5)and 1.86±0.64 (n = 6) respectively (P= 0.006). The ratios of the cases who finally died were all more than 3.0.Conversely, the survival group's ratios were less than 3.0.CONCLUSION: Serial follow-up of transaminase might provide evidence to predict some rare evolutions in leptospirosis. If AST elevated progressively without a concomitant change of ALT, it might indicate an acute disease course with ensuing death. Additionally, AAR is another prognostic parameter for leptospirosis. Once the value was higher than 3.0, a grave prognosis is inevitable.展开更多

This prototype is intended for high power densi...The gas torque in a twin-rotor piston engine(TRPE) was modeled using adiabatic approximation with instantaneous combustion. The first prototype of TRPE was manufactured. This prototype is intended for high power density engines and can produce 36 power strokes per shaft revolution. Compared with the conventional engines, the vector sum of combustion gas forces acting on each rotor piston in TRPE is a pure torque, and the combustion gas rotates the rotors while compresses the gas in the compression chamber at the same time. Mathematical modeling of gas force transmission was built. Expression for gas torque on each rotor was derived. Different variation patterns of the volume change of working chamber were introduced. The analytical and numerical results is presented to demonstrate the main characteristics of gas torque. The results show that the value of gas torque in TRPE falls to be less than zero before the combustion phase is finished; the time for one stroke is 30° in terms of the rotating angle of the output shaft; gas torque in one complete revolution of the output shaft has a period which is equal to 60° and it is necessary to put off the moment when gas torque becomes zero in order to export the maximum energy.展开更多
For the large deformation of the flexible body may cause the fluid grid distortion,which will make the numerical calculation tedious,even to end,the numerical simulation of the flexible body coupling with the fluid is...For the large deformation of the flexible body may cause the fluid grid distortion,which will make the numerical calculation tedious,even to end,the numerical simulation of the flexible body coupling with the fluid is always a tough problem.In this paper,the flexible body is under two kinds of constrained conditions and the ratio of length-diameter is 1:30.The Reynolds number of the airflow is 513,belonging to the area of low Reynolds number.The control equations of the coupling of flexible body with airflow are built and the adaptive grid control method is adopted to conduct the three-dimensional numerical simulation of the movement of the flexible body.The numerical results show that it is possible to simulate the characteristics of the flexible body's movement in the low Reynolds number airflow when the appropriate control equations are modeled and suitable equation-solving method is adopted.Unconstrained flexible body would turn over forward along the airflow's diffusion direction,while constrained flexible body in the flow field will make periodic rotation motion along the axis of the flexible body,and the bending deformation is more obvious than that of unconstrained flexible body.The preliminary three-dimensional numerical simulation can provide references for further research on the characteristics of the yam movement in high Reynolds number airflow.展开更多
