The results were as follows: (1) The average skinfold thickness are higher in female at every age group. (2) As a whole, the skinfold thickness in the body of trunk is bigger than that in the limbs in both male and female. The curves of biceps skinfold thickness and calf skinfold thickness of male doesn't fluctuate with age. Body fat percentage of male was the lowest in the 30s group. In female, the skinfold thickness of trunk and triceps increase with age while calf skinfold decreases. Body fat percentage of female increases with age but then decreases after 50 years old. (3) The mean vales of Mulam skinfold thickness are relatively low compared with Daur, Uzbek and Han nationality.展开更多

The solubilities were calculated by UNIFAC group contribution method, in which new groups, BCCOOH and NCCOOH, were introduced to express the activity coefficients of aromatic acids and new interaction parameters of the new groups were expressed as the function of temperature, which were determined from the experimental data. The new interaction parameters provided good calculated result. The experimental data were also correlated with Wilson and y-h models, and results were compared with present UNIFAC model.展开更多

Popularization of higher education is thc ultimate goal in the development of the national education levcl, to enhance the knowledge of the entire Chinese nation, the quality level is important. In recent years, the university has gone through college enrollment, fee system reform policy changes, the gross enrollment rate is 40% in 2015, exceeding the average level of middle income countries, is a big step forward on education in China. Along with the change in universities, the proportion of poor students has been expanded, and therefore the state has increased concern about the poor students in colleges and univcrsities. To prevent students drop out of school because of family difficulties, the use of government scholarships, grants in thc form of direct or indirect funding for poor students in colleges and universities. However, many problems still arise in College student poverty measures to implement the process, such as a lack of material poverty Branch precision, "the material poverty, spiritual poverty of light", the students lack credibility, etc. These problems lead to the expected results of poverty alleviation has not really achieved. This article will be poor college students, the poor student's current development summarized and analyzed from multiple levels of student poverty problems generated in the process.展开更多

The article talks about difficulties caused by the great unemployment connected with the specific economy of the country, political problems of the post-socialistic multinational country and steps done towards the fulfilling of all the convergence criteria. Its aim is to present the moments around the change of the currency which is done by the material's analysis because there are not enough statistical data for the mathematical analysis. It can be concluded that the adoption of the euro will probably be beneficial in the long run for Latvia's economy. The conclusions may be done by comparison with the situation of Estonia and its foreign trade with Poland which is shown in the article because there are a lot of similarities between the two Baltic countries.展开更多

Resort to extremism by some sections of an ethnic group usually triggers inter-ethnic conflicts with other groups on the one hand and leads to confrontation with the state on the other. This paper seeks to examine the dynamics of this phenomenon in the context of Bodos, the largest plains tribe of Assam, a State of Northeast India. The paper enquires as to whether extremist politics has met the Bodo aspirations for self-determination or has intensified the conflicts and contradictions within the Bodo society with ramifications for other ethnic groups inhabiting the Bodo-dominated areas. It is also necessary to explore the responses of the Union and State governments to Bodo extremist politics for an understanding of the conflict management process.展开更多

The study was conducted in the Tujyin Nars region, where six plantations ranging from 9 to 25 years old were selected for the assessment. Results indicate that the growth of Scotch pine on the plantations did not vary by site, and that more intensive annual increment in height was observed on Scotch pine plantations between the ages of 8 to 15 years. The amount of annual height increment and radial growth improves regularly up to 9 to 11 years of age and then the intensity of annual increment declines due to competition for light and nutrients. Additionally, there was a reduction in the number of trees per ha. Results suggest that it is necessary to implement forestry thinning which aimed at improving growth of Scotch pine on the plantations because intensity of annual increment in height and diameter reduces regularly due to restriction of growing condition.展开更多

Three herbicides of ametryn, atrazine and metribuzine were tested at concentrations ranging from 0.625 to 10.00 ppm. It is found that ametryn was the most effective herbicide that inhibited algal growth. Ametryn concentration that caused 50% inhibition on algae growth after exposure for 21 days was 0.335 ppm. Survival rate of oruamental fish, Harlequin rasbora (Trigonostigma heteromorpha) and growth rate of aquatic plant (Elodea canadensis) exposed to 10 ppm ametryn were compared with those exposed to algaecide. The result showed that there was no significant difference in survival rate of Harlequin rasbora when exposed to ametryn, algaecide and dechlorinized tap water (control). However, growth rate of E. canadensis was lower after exposure of ametryn compared to those exposed to algaecide and tap water. These results suggest that ametryn has potential to be used as an algal inhibitor in aquarium.展开更多

Beforehand, this concept should not provide an instance of theoretical indulgence for emotional concepts or alike. Then, this statement will have to be confronted with the core argument of the Wisdom of the Many, together with the interpretation of Waldron. It will be interpreted as the counterpart of gregarism: When several people find together a solution, which eventually overrules that of the (few) expert(s), they rely upon a common focus or an instance of polar consciousness. This includes the final question if the shared consciousness-or the polarity condition-is not able to also dominate and manifest within a group of experts, of those sufficiently erudite. As a token of possible evidence, the answer is given with Fichte, his lecture of the Science of Knowledge of 1804 by reason of the succinct reliance upon the plural "We."展开更多
