The results indicate that a broad solitons is generated at the beginning, and as time evolves, the intensity width of grey solitons decreases monotonically to a minimum value toward steady state. In the same propagation time, the FWHM of solitons decreases with p increasing or m decreasing. Moreover, the formation time of solitons is independent of p and m. The time is close to a constant determined by the dielectric relaxation time.展开更多

In order to investigate the temporal evolution we first explore the statistical properties by means of weighting distribution and the Mandel parameter. It is found that the temporal evolution of the coherent states may exhibit the phenomena of quantum revivals and fractional revivals for a particular choice of position-dependent mass oscillator.展开更多

In this paper, we study a discrete-time SIS epidemic process in random networks. Three forms of individual awareness, namely, local awareness, global awareness and contact awareness, are considered. The effect of awareness is to reduce the risk of infection. [3ased on the stability theory of matrix difference equation, we derive analytically the epidemic threshold. It is found that both local and contact awareness can raise the epidemic threshold, while the global awareness only decreases the epidemic prevalence. Our results are in line with a recent result using differential equation-based methods.展开更多
