Data for corporate transparency are collected from annual reports for the years 2005-2007. Corporate transparency is indexed by the amount of information disclosed in company's annual report. The disclosure index reporting model developed in the current research is based on the Annual Report Award (ARA, an award given annually to Indonesian listed and non-listed companies), and firm performance is measured using two indicators: ROA (return on assets) and Tobin-Q. The political influence variable is proxied by two indicators: government ownership and the existence of politicians in Board of Directors (BOD). Results demonstrate that contrary to the hypothesis, government ownership (political influence) has positive relation to corporate transparency, as well as to ROA (firm performance). Results also support the hypothesis that transparency act as a mediating variable for the relationship between political influence and firm performance. However, when political influence is pmxied by existence of politicians in BOD and fm'n performance proxied by Tobin-Q, data seems to give support to the hypotheses proposed. The discussion and implications of the findings and suggestions for future research arc discussed.展开更多

Methods: Forty Kunming mice were randomly divided into infection group (20) injected with HCMVAD169 and control group (20) injected with saline into their brain. After 30 days, the murine brain tissues by HCMV infection and paired murine brain tissues were separated by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis(2-DE), analyzed by Image Master 2D software, and identified by peptide mass fingerprint(PMF) and database searching, and make Western blotting analyses the differential expression of individual proteins. Results: Well resolved, reproducible 2-D maps of the above tissues were obtained. Some of the different proteins identified by mass spectrometry(MS) were matched in the SWISS-2D PAGE database, Western blotting analyses were further carried out to verify the differential expression of individual proteins. Conclusion: These data will be valuable for studying the diagnosis of disease at an early stage, mechanisms of pathogenic and the key to the development of anti-HCMV medicine.展开更多

The light transmittance by three types of grid shapes: triangle, square and hexagon have been theoretically calculated and simulated. It was found that hexagonal grid unit has the highest light transmittance limit under the practical lattice parameters and its decrease in light transmittance caused by the increase of line width in printing process is the least. The grid of three different shapes with same theoretical transmittance is fabricated through flexographic printing. The result shows that the actual light transmittance of the printed TCFs is lower than its theoretical value because of the inevitable width increase of printed grid lines, with slight difference between the three shapes. However, it is greatly different in terms of conductivity, leading to variation in the quality factor Q(defined as the ratio of light transmittance to total resistance) which represents the performance of TCFs. The Q of hexagonal grid(6.04) is the highest, which is 21% higher than that of the square grid.展开更多
