The objective of Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) investigation of macroeconomic mechanisms on ASEAN-5 stock earnings equation can contribute to analyzing and demonstrating macroeconomic forces acting a statist...The objective of Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) investigation of macroeconomic mechanisms on ASEAN-5 stock earnings equation can contribute to analyzing and demonstrating macroeconomic forces acting a statistically and economically significant effect on rate of return of securities for a given time through the application of the ARDL approach to cointegration when the variables are mixed degrees of integration in cointegrated time series, i.e. I(0) and I(1). This results in a long-run or a short-run relationship between macroeconomic force acting for a given time affecting 24 quarterly rates of return for listed companies in Information and Communication Technologies OCT) sector of Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLSE) index (Malaysia), Financial Times Share Index (FTSI), Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), and Jakarta Composite Index (JKSE) (Indonesia). The impulses of three ASEAN macroeconomic forces---GDPt, EXt, and INTt acting for a given time influence the earnings of selected 23 1CT returns for listed companies on both domestic investments and outsider investments in the same period. This paper has investigated how other-concerning macroeconomic force acting might interrelate with rate of return of securities in the ICT sector, debt and financial innovations, in line with some significant formalized facts. The funding of capital inflow in part of ICT securities was statistically globally significant to recognize significant achievement in ICT specific pathways to distinction as the science of accomplishment. The public sector performing as a key purchaser of ICT security solutions related to integrate the ASEAN exchange members into modern capitalization can lead to adverse effects, such as risky investment-hub interventions due to the mixing financial systems in three ASEAN regional integrations through investments.展开更多

The influence of the textural and acidic properties ofγ‐Al2O3,(γ+χ)‐Al2O3,and?‐Al2O3on the catalytic activity,selectivity,and stability of direct H2S oxidation has been studied.A comparison of the H2S‐to‐S con...The influence of the textural and acidic properties ofγ‐Al2O3,(γ+χ)‐Al2O3,and?‐Al2O3on the catalytic activity,selectivity,and stability of direct H2S oxidation has been studied.A comparison of the H2S‐to‐S conversion effectiveness of aluminas with their acidic properties(identified by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and temperature programmed desorption of NH3)shows that H2S adsorption occurs predominantly on weak Lewis acid sites(LAS).γ‐Alumina samples containing aχ‐phase and/or modified Mg2+ions have a greater concentration of weak LAS and exhibit greater catalytic activity.When alumina is treated with a sulfuric acid solution,strong LAS appear and the number of LAS decreases significantly.Modification of alumina with hydrochloric acid has a limited effect on LAS strength.Weak LAS are retained and double in number compared to that present in the unmodified alumina,but the treated sample has Al?Cl bonds.Alumina samples modified by sulfate and chloride anions exhibit poor catalytic activity in H2S oxidation.展开更多
In this study, the water balance-based Precipitation-Evapotranspiration-Runoff (PER) method combined with the land surface model Variable Infiltration Capacity (VIC) was used to estimate the spatiotemporal variations ...In this study, the water balance-based Precipitation-Evapotranspiration-Runoff (PER) method combined with the land surface model Variable Infiltration Capacity (VIC) was used to estimate the spatiotemporal variations of terrestrial water storage (TWS) for two periods, 1982-2005 (baseline) and 2071-2100, under future climate scenarios A2 and B2 in the Yangtze River basin. The results show that the estimated TWS during the baseline period and under the two future climate scenarios have similar seasonal amplitudes of 60-70 mm. The higher values of TWS appear in June during the baseline period and under the B2 scenario, whereas the TWS under A2 shows two peaks in response to the related precipitation pattern. It also shows that the TWS is recharged from February to June during the baseline period, but it is replenished from March to June under the A2 and B2 scenarios. An analysis of the standard derivation of seasonal and interannual TWS time series under the three scenarios demonstrates that the seasonal TWS of the southeastern part of the Yangtze River basin varies remarkably and that the southeastern and central parts of the basin have higher variations in interannual TWS. With respect to the first mode of the Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF), the inverse-phase change in seasonal TWS mainly appears across the Guizhou-Sichuan-Shaanxi belt, and the entire basin generally represents a synchronous change in interannual TWS. As a whole, the TWS under A2 presents a larger seasonal variation whereas that under B2 displays a greater interannual variation. These results imply that climate change could trigger severe disasters in the southeastern and central parts of the basin.展开更多
The nanopore size effect on translocation of poly(dT)30through Si3N4 membrane is investigated.In this paper,we report that the speed of the poly(dT)30 transport through Si3N4 nanopores can be slowed down by half throu...The nanopore size effect on translocation of poly(dT)30through Si3N4 membrane is investigated.In this paper,we report that the speed of the poly(dT)30 transport through Si3N4 nanopores can be slowed down by half through increasing the nanopore diameter from 4.8 nm to 10.8 nm.The results are consistent with our simulation results.Besides,the current blockage induced by DNA passing through the nanopore is less obvious as pore diameter is larger,which is in good agreement with the theoretical prediction.The conclusion about DNA transport through nanopores is beneficial for the design of DNA sequencing devices.展开更多
