Ni-Cr/h-BN self-lubricating composities were prepared by powder metallurgy (P/M) method.The effects of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) content on the mechanical and tribological properties of the Ni-Cr/h-BN composites were investigated.The corresponding frictional models were established to analyze the formation of the lubricant h-BN films on the surfaces of the Ni-Cr/h-BN composites.The results show that,when the content of h-BN increases from 5% to 15% (mass fraction),the bending strength of the Ni-Cr/h-BN composite decreases from 96.670 MPa to 17.319 MPa,and the hardness (HB) decreases from 33 to 14.The friction coefficient of the Ni-Cr/h-BN composite decreases firstly from 0.385 to 0.216,and then increases to 0.284,while the wear rate decreases firstly from 4.14×10-9 kg/(N·m) to 1.35×10-9 kg/(N·m),then increases to 2.36×10-9 kg/(N·m).The best comprehensive mechanical and tribological properties can be obtained between 10% and 12% h-BN addition. 展开更多

A discriminant method for optimizing activity in nuclear medicine studies is validated by comparison with ROC (received operating characteristic)-curves. The method is tested in 21 single photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT), performed with a cardiac phantom. Three different lesions (Lb L2 and L3) were placed in the myocardium-wall by pairs fbr each SPECT. Three activities (84, 37 or 18.5 MBq) of 99mTc were used as background. Linear discriminant analysis was used to select the parameters that characterize image quality among the measured variables in the images [(Background-to-Lesion (B/Li) and Signal-to-Noise (S/N) ratios)]. Two clusters with different image quality (P=0.021 ) were obtained. The ratios B/Lj, B/L2 and B/L3 are the parameters used to construct the function with 100% of cases correctly classified into the clusters. The value of 37 MBq was the lowest tested activity for which good results for the B/Li ratios were obtained. The result coincides with the applied ROC-analysis (r=0.89). 展开更多

The allyl radical has been observed in a low-pressure premixed gasoline/oxygen/argon flame by using tunable vacuum ultraviolet photoionization mass spectrometry, The ionization potential of the allyl radical is derived to be (8.13 ±0.02) eV from photoionization efficiency curve, In addition, a high level ab initzo Gaussian-3 (G3) method was used to calculate the energies of tile radical and its cation. The calculated adiabatic ionization potential is 8.18 eV, which is in excellent agreement with the experimental value. The result is helpful for identifying the allyl radical formed from other flames and for understanding the mechanism of soot formation. 展开更多
