Design: Case report. Setting: Multidisciplinary group practice and teaching hospital. Patient(s): A 31- year-old patient with pelvic pain. Intervention(s): Laparoscopic bowel resection. Main Outcome Measure(s): Laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis affecting the sigmoid. Result(s): Histology performed on tissue removed at surgery revealed epithelioid granulomas with birefringent and partially calcified eggs characteristic of Schistosoma mansoni within an endometriotic lesion affecting the entire width of the sigmoid. Conclusion(s): Endometriosis and schistosomiasis may be present simultaneously in patients with bowel symptoms and pelvic pain.展开更多
Surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)is a powerful technology for obtaining vibrational information from molecules that present in different chemical or biological environments.This paper presents a 3D SERS substrat...Surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)is a powerful technology for obtaining vibrational information from molecules that present in different chemical or biological environments.This paper presents a 3D SERS substrate based on nanocone forests.The substrates are prepared by using plasma treatment technique,which is a simple,fast and high-throughput approach.The SERS substrate based on nanocone forests exhibits high sensitivity.In the experiment,miRNA with a concentration as low as 10-10 M can be achieved.Meanwhile,the proposed SERS substrate shows a high uniformity over a large area.These experimental results demonstrate great potential of the 3D SERS substrate in wide applications.展开更多
目的:探讨程序性死亡配体1(PD-L1)和程序性死亡分子1(PD-1)在合并血吸虫肠病结直肠癌组织中的表达及临床意义。方法:收集宣城市人民医院2014—2021年结直肠癌患者手术切除标本134例,其中合并血吸虫肠病74例为病例组,非合并血吸虫肠病60...目的:探讨程序性死亡配体1(PD-L1)和程序性死亡分子1(PD-1)在合并血吸虫肠病结直肠癌组织中的表达及临床意义。方法:收集宣城市人民医院2014—2021年结直肠癌患者手术切除标本134例,其中合并血吸虫肠病74例为病例组,非合并血吸虫肠病60例为对照组。采用免疫组化法检测PD-L1和PD-1在结直肠癌组织中的表达情况,分析组间表达差异及其与各临床病理特征的关系。结果:病例组癌细胞PD-L1、癌间质淋巴细胞PD-1阳性表达率分别为55.4%、60.8%,对照组癌细胞PD-L1、癌间质淋巴细胞PD-1阳性表达率分别为35.0%、40.0%,病例组PD-L1、PD-1阳性表达率均高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(χ^(2)=5.55、5.74,均 P < 0.05);病例组PD-L1、PD-1表达与癌淋巴结转移及高TNM分期相关( P < 0.05)。 结论:PD-L1和PD-1在合并血吸虫肠病结直肠癌组织中高表达,并与其侵袭性行为有相关性,PD-1/PD-L1信号途径可能参与合并血吸虫肠病结直肠癌的发生、发展分子学机制,阻断PD-1/PD-L1信号通路有望成为合并血吸虫肠病结直肠癌免疫治疗的新策略。展开更多
