吴宓“翻译术”课程教学初探

Evolution of surgical skills training

Surgical training is changing： one hundred years of tradition is being challenged by legal and ethical concerns for patient safety, work hours restrictions, the cost of operating room time, and complications. Surgical simulation and skills training offers an opportunity to teach and practice advanced skills outside of the operating room environment before attempting them on living patients. Simulation training can be as straight forward as using real instruments and video equipment to manipulate simulated ＂tissue＂ in a box trainer. More advanced, virtual reality simulators are now available and ready for widespread use. Early systems have demonstrated their effectiveness and discriminative ability. Newer systems enable the development of comprehensive curricula and full procedural simulations. The Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education＇s （ACGME） has mandated the development of novel methods of training and evaluation. Surgical organizations are calling for methods to ensure the maintenance of skills, advance surgical training, and to credential surgeons as technically competent. Simulators in their current form have been demonstrated to improve the operating room performance of surgical residents. Development of standardized training curricula remains an urgent and important agenda, particularly for minimal invasive surgery. An innovative and progressive approach, borrowing experiences from the field of aviation, can provide the foundation for the next century of surgical training, ensuring the quality of the product. As the technology develops, the way we practice will continue to evolve, to the benefit of physicians and patients.

An Empirical Research on the Behavior and Influencing Factors of College Students Network Course Learning

＂Using technology to support learning＂ gradually becomes the main trend of technology application and technology-curriculum integration at home and abroad. The empirical research based on newly-established universities shows that college students＇ usage intention on network course and study behavior is not real. Study behavior of network course is passive and outside stimulation. They are more concerned about the usefulness and relative advantages of the learning mode in the network course learning; however, learning environment of the network course at present still is given on material and tool level. The institutions should, in compliance with the trend of higher education development in the world, actively build learning environment to meet the learning needs of students in the information age, deepen the reform of information technology application and curriculum based on the learner-centered concept, focus on the training of initiative learning of college students, put community impact into full play to promote the integration of the superiority of the material platform and initiative, and finally improve the efficiency and quality of teaching and education.

BOLIN： Linguistic and Literary Journal

This article proposes a pedagogical strategy to develop proficiency in writing and comprehension in native and foreign languages. It is a pilot project which intends to explore, develop, build, collect, select, analyze, and prepare an action plan for that purpose. The strategy is being used at a Federal Institute in Brazil--IF Sudeste MG, Rio Pomba campus. The subjects involved in this process of investigation are students of two classes who attend their first year at High School integrated to technical courses. The methodology involves the use of a school journal as a teaching and learning resource to encourage literary reading and the production of different genres. The goal is to establish an interaction between the reading and writing mediated by a young and playful context offering an additional instrument for instruction, aimed at the use and reflection of the language.

Research on Building the Resource Library of Course Teaching based on the Cloud Computing

This paper puts forward sharing teaching resources based on cloud computing solutions, through the use of architecture means virtualization technology based on KVM on the server side, the infrastructure layer manage the underlying physical hardware equipment. In the realization of the infrastructure layer using Libvirt virtualization management suite that provides a common API development Web, through the RDP protocol, and finally access to the remote virtual desktop browser by the graphical user interface （GUI） and traditional Web B/S architecture, to simulate and access to low-level resources and sharing of teaching resources, teaching resources can be achieved education informatization in the process of teaching.

Time Course of Q Value after Myopic Laser-assisted In Situ Keratomileusis

Objective To assess the time course of Q value after myopic laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis(LASIK) and preliminarily evaluate the determinants of the difference of Q value between before and after LASIK.Methods We performed a retrospective,longitudinal investigation on patients undergoing wavefront optimized LASIK therapy for emmetropization.A total of 418 eyes from 222 cases were examined preoperatively,and partly followed up at one week(172 eyes),one month(134 eyes) and three months(51 eyes) after surgery.The horizontal,vertical and total Q values of cornea were calculated from eccentricity measured at the central 6-mm corneal zones respectively.Potential determinants of the change of Q value were analyzed using multiple linear regressions.Results The mean Q value was-0.17±0.13 preoperatively,and 0.99±0.70,0.97±0.66,and 0.86±0.41 one week,one and three months postoperatively,respectively.One way analysis of variance(ANOVA) demonstrated significant differences between measurements made before surgery and at all postoperative times(at one week,one and three months;all P<0.0001,Bonferroni post hoc),but no significant differences were found among postoperative groups.Significant differences of Q values between horizontal and vertical meridians were found before surgery and at all postoperative times(all P<0.0001).Multiple regression analysis revealed that change of Q value significantly correlated with manifest refraction spherical equivalent(r=0.116,P<0.0001) and axial length(r=0.264,P<0.0001).Conclusions Over the study period,the primary changes in Q value occur within 1 week after surgery,and then become slightly decreased and nearly stable.Manifest refraction spherical equivalent and axial length play a significant role in the change of postoperative Q value.

This paper provides a students＇ mode of artistic creativity where we should pay attention to in the landscape painting. It initially introduces the art of creative training methods, learning from nature to produce landscapes of methods, which are well-known empirical basis for this style genre painter and artistic ideas on the formation process. It points out that the law of the session and the composition sketch pursued in university education in landscape creation, meanwhile, it talks about many of the same problems encountered in the creation of light and dark scenery in teaching college students ; in this article, it highlights painting features, and the genre and landscape aesthetic style, such as the relationship of the ability to use artistic language.

Research on Creating Rich-Media-Based Teaching Resources of Chinese Language Education

This paper investigates the promotion of rich media techniques and creation of teaching resources in Chinese language education curriculums. Infusing rich media technology with teaching practice, teachers should not only introduce original thinking, new skills and authentic knowledge to students, but also should emphasize on creativity. In this sense, the resources created within the curriculums are possible to develop and in turn, accumulate more teaching resources and materials for Chinese language education.

Design and production of the network courses based on the database technology

Online teaching is an effective means and the inevitable trend of the development of modern education, its shared educational resources, to expand the scale of education to improve educational efficiency; build a lifelong education system plays an important role. In this paper, by analyzing the common feature of database system and network courses, it proposes a network-based database technology curriculum design and fabrication methods and principles, to make the curriculum from web centric processing teaching content production to around a shared database of teaching resource center changes.
