构建宜步行社区是建设低碳可持续城市、改善城市步行环境、提升居民生活品质的重要手段。而社区空间结构模式对于建设宜步行社区具有决定性作用,其实质是机动交通系统和步行网络的关系。奥地利维也纳是世界知名的宜居城市,其社区建设始... 构建宜步行社区是建设低碳可持续城市、改善城市步行环境、提升居民生活品质的重要手段。而社区空间结构模式对于建设宜步行社区具有决定性作用,其实质是机动交通系统和步行网络的关系。奥地利维也纳是世界知名的宜居城市,其社区建设始终关注多样化步行空间和公共空间活力的塑造。本文通过研究维也纳宜步行社区的优秀案例,总结出三类宜步行社区的空间结构模式,包括机动交通系统和步行网络的共享、地面分离,以及立体叠合模式,并以维也纳纽堡街区(Neubau)、多瑙新城(Donau City)和阿斯班社区(Aspern)为典型案例进行详细分析,揭示其内在结构模式的特点,从而为建设街区式宜步行社区提供理论与实践的借鉴。 展开更多

In this paper, we propose a new cellular automata model to simulate the railway traffic at station. Based on NaSch model, the proposed station model is composed of the main track and the siding track. Two different schemes for trains passing through station are considered. One is the scheme of "pass by the main track, start and stop by the siding track". The other is the scheme of "two tracks play the same role". We simulate the train movement using the proposed model and analyze the traffic flow at station. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed cellular automata model can be successfully used for the simulations of railway traffic. Some characteristic behaviors of railway traffic flow can be reproduced. Moreover, the simulation values of the minimum headway are close to the theoretical values. This result demonstrates the dependability and availability of the proposed model. 展开更多

The goal of the paper is to determine the most effective methods of trucking operations in order to highlight the regularities that characterize these methods. The paper describes practicable methods of freight flow analysis, some factors and parameters concerning movement of motor-vehicle trains and original route schedules as well. This paper discusses the prospect of high efficiency motors based on usage in industrial sectors. In fact, energy consumption is globally classified into the industrial sector, transport system, residential and commercial building, agriculture and others sectors. In all the sectors, energy is eventually consumed by electrical appliances and equipments and the industrial sector accounts for the largest share of the overall energy consumption. The study concerns to identify the energy consumption using qualitative method. The main emphasis was given to comparison of the motor with high efficiency motors (HEMs) and traditional standard motors to investigate energy savings. According to the study, industrial sector has up to 25% of electrical energy conservation potential. Almost 70%-75% of the electrical energy consumption in industry is on account of use of electrical motors being used by pumps, fans, compressors and other motor driven system. Therefore, the potential for energy conservation through electric motors is quite high. Using high efficiency motors (HEMs) can thus reduce the losses and hence save vital energy costs. This paper will provide a contribution to electrical motors arena and will be a systematic knowledge base for researchers in this field. 展开更多
