The system utilizes the combined optimization of blade profiles and meridional geometries. In the construction of objective functions, non-design point performances are considered to realize the performance optimization in whole work ranges of the impeller. An impeller with one row of split blades is redesigned using the proposed optimization system. Results show that for the optimal impeller, the efficiency is obviously improved in the whole mass flow ranges, while the total pressure ratio hardly varies.展开更多

The robot adopts a wheeled moving mechanism. The principle of the robot's enlarged pace is introduced, and the structure and motion mechanism of the SMA actuator and the wheeled moving mechanism are discussed. The gait about the robot's rectilinear movement and turning movement is also planned. Under the effect of the eccentric wheel self-locking mechanisms and changing-direction mechanisms, the robot can move forward and backward, and turn actively, which overcomes the disadvantages of the traditional SMA micro robots to a certain extent. Furthermore, some experiments on the heating current of the SMA actuator and the robot's motion capability are carded out.展开更多
Micro-turbine engine has no enough space for measuring impeller characteristics,so the design and the construction of a new test facility of micro-turbo-machinery are presented for micro-centrifugal compressors and ra...Micro-turbine engine has no enough space for measuring impeller characteristics,so the design and the construction of a new test facility of micro-turbo-machinery are presented for micro-centrifugal compressors and radial turbines.The facility is used for the full speed compressor test and the long duration hot turbine test.To rapidly adjust the testing condition,all regulations of the operating state are automatically completed by the control system.The facility is also used for testing the impeller performance with a series of diameter from 55 mm to 180 mm as a result of the modular design.A thermal protection system is designed to avoid the heat distortion caused by the high turbine inlet temperature over 1 100 K and provide a proper experimental environment for the electronic components.A photoelectric torque transducer with the accuracy of 1% is designed to measure the torque of rigid shaft at a high speed of 125 000 r/min.The designing techniques for micro-turbo-machineries are verified by the impeller testing of the facility.展开更多

Besides, ways to implement discrete method...In this paper, the boundary value problem (BVP) of 3 D transient eddy current field in the end region in the case that the generator is affected by impact load is specified. Besides, ways to implement discrete methods in both time domain and space domain during the solution of the problem are investigated. The Crank Nicolson scheme is utilized to attain the iterative format of time differential, after taking factors that can ensure both computation precision and stability into consideration. In this paper, the magnetic distribution in the end region of a turbogenerator in the case that the generator is affected by impact load is specified. As a result, it provides foundation for further study of electromagnetic force and electromagnetic vibration in the end region of the turbogenerator.展开更多

A 320 MW turbogenerator is taken as an example to specify the electromagnetic force of end region winding and therefore the vibration in the case that the generator is affected by impact load. Some conclusions are drawn on the basis of the specification. Vibration of windings under imaginary faults is simulated, so that the vibration law of the end winding of turbogenerator can be studied further. On the basis of this, the countermeasure against winding vibration can be advanced.展开更多
A robust unified controller was proposed for wheeled mobile robots that do not satisfy the ideal rolling without slipping constraint.Practical trajectory tracking and posture stabilization were achieved in a unified f...A robust unified controller was proposed for wheeled mobile robots that do not satisfy the ideal rolling without slipping constraint.Practical trajectory tracking and posture stabilization were achieved in a unified framework.The design procedure was based on the transverse function method and Lyapunov redesign technique.The Lie group was also introduced in the design.The left-invariance property of the nominal model was firstly explored with respect to the standard group operation of the Lie group SE(2).Then,a bounded transverse function was constructed,by which a corresponding smooth embedded submanifold was defined.With the aid of the group operation,a smooth control law was designed,which fulfills practical tracking/stabilization of the nominal system.An additional component was finally constructed to robustify the nominal control law with respect to the slipping disturbance by using the Lyapunov redesign technique.The design procedure can be easily extended to the robot system suffered from general unknown but bounded disturbances.Simulations were provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the robust unified controller.展开更多
