Specifically, the localization problem is solved by employing Monte Carlo method with a new mechanism proposed to calculate the samples' weights; the convergence and veracity of the sample set are guaranteed by the designed resampling and scattering process. The proposed serf-localization algorithm is fully implemented on a specific mobile robot system, and experimental results illustrate that it provides an efficient solution for the kidnapped problem.展开更多

Based on the process of the action and mechanics analysis, the controller was designed. This micro robot with 6mm diameter was driven directly by three electromagnetic linear drivers. Mobile cells were joined with two degree-of-freedom joint and the whole body was flexible and soft. The driving force reached 10.8g in normal working condition. The direction of movement and the angle of imaging can be controlled by the shape memory alloy (SMA). The driving force, velocity and movement of micro robot in flexural tube were tested through experiments, which indicated that the driving force was in proportion to the range of frequency, and the micro robot could current, and the velocity reached a maximum in certain move in the thin tube flexibly.展开更多

The proposed upper bounds of the induced perturbations in discrete-time model were similar to those obtained in reference. A stable digital optimal state feedback controller whose design was based on the solution of Riccati equation was given. By considering stability based on the second method of Lyapunov, the robust stability bounds for discrete-time model was obtained. Combining the above findings, one sufficient condition of robust stability and a new region of robust stability on the underlying continuous-time system were obtained. Example was given to illustrate the proposed results. It was shown that the sampling period was a crucial design parameter.展开更多
